  1. For trying so hard "again"? What you mean by that. As for my achievement, i am proud of achieving it. My theory and achievement is crap? Thanks for those words. I don't need a guide about Zamorak. I consider myself Pro at GWD. I have tried SGS: and it's healing ability and prayer restore did well but that did not stop Kril from Raging you. For all Gs's: when killing the sergeants, it made you kill them slowly which then lead to not much time to prepare for next respawn of boss. I have used SGS and Whip, and believe me: the big difference in them was not much. But GS was bad for sergeants. If i am wrong: feel free to prove me wrong Best godswords are: Bandos and Arma, the other two does not do much to affect your trip. BandosGodSword: 19-21m= Great GS for Zamorak. AGS= Just as great as BGS, but it cost 60m...i doubt many people can afford it. That arguments not particularly valid about the sergants. Hell I'm guessing your over my (pitiful melee 88att 95str 85def) stats, I have zero problem ever with dropping the sergants after I've killed Kri'l. However I don't kill him on task, rather with a Neiz helm, so if your having a problem I'm guessing its due to your helm not giving you any usable bonuses? Or your just got plain unlucky.
  2. Mages are like heavy artillery. Rangers are like machine guns. :? I've always viewed mages as long distance fighters. If a warrior manages to close the gap the player isn't using magic right. People who usually switch to d'hide can range too, so the 'warrior' can't be classed as a warrior, but a tank or a hybrid of some kind. EDIT: Oh, and looking at the number of people crowding the f2p pvp worlds, I don't think f2p pvp is going away any time soon. You have F2P mage entirely wrong Cure/weaken etc spells are useless and a waste of invy spots. You can bind but yeah that only holds them for 5 seconds. And yeah even into the 90's you can't hold them for any longer... Your top spell maxes out at a measly 16, you cannot KO anyone with a 16. The best you can hope to do is run get distance and whittle down their food until they die. Never going to happen, meet 1 ranger and your screwed as f2p mages have nothing in terms of defence and stand no chance agaisnt a warrior up close. F2P mage is a joke. There is two pking styles there, Range 2h's and full rune (with a 2h for the ko). Anyone who thinks otherwise is wrong...
  3. That got a massive boost with the leet cabbage ring... Ring in, grab cabbage, home teleport to lumby. Oh em gee easy gee pea's!
  4. Not worth very much, but it just bought me a few hundred more sharks to keep soloing. Think im a little over 200 downed now.
  5. I'm actually thinking these are the best "gloves" in the game, It restores 60 hp an hour, 1 per minute, yes? and stocked with rapid heal that's like 90-120 hps an hour,(I'd be able to do exact numbers with the accurate prayer restoration rate) I think 120 hps-90hps is better than a slightly better and slightly more consistent hits. The def bonuses on these compared to barrows gloves isn't a factor due to the restoration effect of the brace. Void Thingy/Buyip restore HP far better and you still can wear the best combat stats gloves in the game. Even without summoning, HP isn't really an issue in most cases as you can Guthan/eat. People still use guthans?
  6. Right author answer me this. IMO, 99 fletch/cook + FM are utterly pointless. Why bother training past it? Amost all of RS is geared around combat, and once you've maxed out you can enjoy the combat element to the max (pk/boss etc). Where as FM etc why bother, it's not like you can burn logs any better... Also your race is utterly pointless, a character at 99 att 99 str 99 def is x10 as usefull as a charachter with 99 fletch/99 cook/99 fm. SO why would anyone willingly dedicated a proportion of their life to having a worse deal? The combat stats are far more usefull, the others are just total buffs. nothing more. Hell no am I racing you, would rather spend my time on something usefull to my account.
  7. Pick up bones or hides, covers costs a bit for the dry trips....
  8. Intrested by these teleports... But TBH compared to the massive cash maker it use to be rc is just imo not worth it... I miss the days of ess for 25 - 30ish per and selling nats @ 400 per easily.
  9. okay mister solo bandos  still though why should you not be able to do something because other players are doing it even when you earn the stats and make the money to get the gear Okay turn your argument around, why should you take away our right to solo a Boss because we have the required skills/gear/experience to do it? Just beacuse you have the ability to feed a tank and pray protect from missiles doesn't mean anything... If you made all worlds LS you would just kill of soloing, all of those worlds would be full as more people would go as the same situation as is now would just be continued.
  10. *Cough soloers cough*? Hell even the themed worlds are filling up with teams hoping to get a drop without ls/cs. If you made them all ls then it wouldnt fix any problem at all, they would still all be full. Only you would have caused soloing to die. If i can kill it by myself why should I be forced to join a team?
  11. Yeah can count that as a +2 for confirming just back from a quick trial run myself.
  12. Lol, i would bet a lot that you don't have a skillcape since you seem to think 99 is easy and suchhhh a waste of your time *wink wink* hm, lets see, how many accounts and players are there on runescape? 1million+? 35k is squat, when it starts to hit 100k people haveing the same cape, you come back to me alright? sorry my numbers were out of date, now its over 42,5k people with 99 fletching. and over 44k for cooking. closing in fast on your 100k people... Just as a point of reference range 44k in prayer is level 71; 44k in summoning is level 58; 44k in agility is level 70; 44k in rcing is level 67 and in slayer is 77. now we don't go around saying a massive congrats to people who can use piety/summon overlords/get into sara gwd or craft deaths as gods now or even aconoldge (sp, tbh its late at night...) their achivment now do we? other than nothing it as something that people do.. btw, massive congrats on your highest level/only 99 being cooking...
  13. Starter 99? it's not much of an achivment when 35kish or however many people now have a green/purple obby cape. epic waste of 100 hours or so.
  14. Sure many chinners (as i am one) are wondering, fixed or not? not able to log onto rs for a while and am wondering...
  15. Right now in my RS life i have the ability to fund power leveling and then once there enjoy the reward. I chose range and am currently 89/99. I like chins. Now off me and back on topic. Why when your in that position should you be 'flamed' for useing your money to fast-track the training path? It is the HEALTHY thing to do. I'm sorry but if you spend 200/300+ hours infront of a computer training a skill when you can do it in 50 you really need your head examining, and shouldn't demand online respect for it but demand a good hour or two with a doctor... And you definatly shouldn't have a go at the people who did take the short route. Playing this game smart is not something to be looked down on. End of the day RS isn't the be all and end all of life; if you find that it is and you think spending an extra 150 hours on a game when you could have saved yourself that time to do something else ingame or out of the game, maybe you should take a break?
  16. Mummies as in the ones in the pyramid where you change ancient to normal mage? 100k+ xp an hour there? And dags under the lighthouse would be tricky as they hit either melee/range combo right?
  17. Were abouts is a good place to use these guys? as i was litterally on my way to GE to buy up from 88 to 95ish range before the update for gwding. but then jagex went and ruined ape toll. Just wondering where abouts is good for chinning at my level (88) don't mind praying, and a rough xp figures as before, hopefully still 100-120k+ an hour? tyvm for any help possible!
  18. Cheers, can anyone confirm that? Sorry been camped at fire giants for hours now, suppilies still holding out and kinda wanted to aviod banking if i could possibly lol!
  19. Anyone tell me where one sets about obtaining these? ty.
  20. 1.Your an idiot. 2.Do you even no anything about the Great depression? Do you even no what caused it??? By you post im guessing no. it was investment on the stock exchange during the late 1920s, people 'bet' to big and lost out (reasons complicated), this effect snowballd after the first bank folded. 3.Go read a book, and not some "Penguine guide to the great depression" before you mention past topics in history. 4.your an idiot.
  21. Same as obby charms. not even sure what the hell they are for but i have 2.... thats the tzar monsters who drop them :)
  22. Actually you wouldnt. with 1 attack you wouldn rarely hit someone with even 10 defence and black armor. You would most likely be too busy eating because any other level 28 can hit 10's straight off the bat, if trained in the right way . it would be a cool character to own, but a sucky character as well. I had a wine pure with rune 2hander at level 13, i died alot due to me being level 13 with 12 hp, imagine being level 28 with 10 hp than going up against a level 25 with stats of 25 25 25 25. Max hit with 1 attack and 99 str is only 18 i believe. 1 Attack 99 str max of 18? Obby maul anyone?
  23. [hide=large quote] Dunno about last month, but I sold a red mask last year for 38M (and last year not meaning 4 days ago, but a couple months ago ) Rares won't always keep going up if nobody wants them. As qeltar said, in order for an item to go up in price there needs to be a large demand for it. If there's a medium/low supply of an item but no demand, how can it go up? Exactly. There's an extremely low supply of black spears ingame, but do they have a high price? No. It's because they're useless, and nobody wants them. There will always be players that want something that's hard to get. Rares are that item. I see players that swam in a sea of money suddenly finding themselves without their "easy" ways to make hundreds of millions. These players are now panic selling. As they think it's impossible to play RS without making tens of millions a day, they want to make sure their suddenly "suspect" investments are in nice "safe" cash. I don't know when the prices of rares will bottom out. If summoning can be leveled very quickly with tons of cash I bet the prices will drop even more as players sell even MORE rares to get liquidity. But eventually the playerbase WILL stop worrying about "surviving" this economic mess. And once that is over, players will start to worry more about making money again. Once prices on rares start going up players will start merching them again, and we shall see how long that "bubble" lasts. [/hide] Rares were based in the fact that large sums of cash could be obtained both fast and readily, and therefore horded into the accounts that could do this; stakers and merchants were two of these key groups. And these have in effect been nulified compared to how they used to operate. I'm willing to bet that rare prices will continue to sink as the demand for them has (MASSIVLY) dropped, people choseing to get out when they can. Likely to bottom out at some point, value highly dependant on the structure of summoning. But if could easily be even years before they hit they high they once were at.
