  1. Magic, waaaay back. 12th person to get it as far as I remember.
  2. Died with two party hats and 110k arrows in rsc, at the shilo undead creatures. Forgot the gasmask when I went there to trade with Fist of god. Got killed once when going to chaos tunnels, had pray pots in inv but no food. Got bound and maged to death To make matters worse, i went back to grave and pick up whatever I didnt loose but could still use. Ended up attacking the guy, skulling and losing the remainder of my gear.
  3. 485ish, with 498m exp. Only recently broke the million exp / day online time recently.
  4. My ridiciously long streaks are far in the past. To the best of my knowledge: I never logged out at 98 magic. Had some silly long runs in first days after agility release. I'd not repeat those nowadays.
  5. @thelastjoker: wheat and bird cages were amongst fastest things to get, but total gp loss. My method of choice was holy symbols in falador general store (crafters sold them there in bulk). Bought from store at 20, alched at 60 was a 40gp return per alch, and equally fast.
  6. Not in those first 2000, but I'm from 2001. Fwiw: Number 9 on your list is now active again (as an alt account for number 126 on your list). There's less then a dozen names I recognise :(
  7. Cheap and fast never really match, expecially not with construction. There's only the choice between really pricy and fast, or less pricy and slow. Cheap is not an option on this one.
  8. Towns: Draynor. (graphical) Spin into lore: Not. IVP bought shares in JaGeX and made it well.. more money driven. The spins for the squeal of fortune are buyable, and much opposed by players. Ditto for Solomons general store, but that's mainly cosmetic. Gameplay changes: More make-x, and more afk'able options on certain skills (runespan for rc, bonfires for fm, ..), and increased exp rates in most skills due to alternate training methods (herblore habitat, ..)
  9. My setup: Black mystic (cheapskating this), arcane stream necklace, sw cape and zammy godbook (to make ppots last) and polypore staff. Along with that I take enough fire runes for a polypore staff recharge, pores I get as I kill them. Tend to take 15-ish prayer flasks, leave some inv spots open for loot/maybe a few emergency food. I mage protect them all the time, and you can find safespots which put you out of the range of their fungal attack. Lure, mage to death, loot and repeat. Pretty straight forward, low cost, good profit, and what I like best: low apm. Once you are sure it's lured close enough, you can just sit back and watch till it dies. EDIT: I don't even bother with mage pots / extreme magic / wolper / ovl.. Polypore hits up to 402 (maybe more) with the setup I mentioned. On task, with slay helm, will be even better. Id rather save my inv spots for loot/prayer flasks.
  10. Can have multiple accounts, but no interaction between them. Mule account = interaction.
  11. If you can stand grinding jadinko's, they are superior hunter exp. By far enough to compensate for the loss in agi exp. Butterflies should be able to get you a bit over 100k an hour, but I've not managed it myself. Doing the two snowy types of butterflies gave me around 80k exp when trying to do it in an 'enjoyable' way. On the plus side, it gets you some agi exp without actually dealing with the agi lap grinding. If it's efficiency you are after however: do draconics, and do agi laps with a penance horn.
  12. Isn't the main selling point (ignoring the 19k xp you already got) that you get a private hunter spot with 1 ticket/point per capture. Seeing as these private spots are apparently pawya, grenwall and a higher xp polar kebbit lets assume grenwalls at 1,100 xp a catch. At 1 ticket per catch in the private hunter spot that'd be 773,300xp without interference from bots other players etc. Sounds pretty decent to me... Major flaw in calculation. One ticked for a grenwall is more then one point.. (12?, don't recall all in detail)
  13. Given that i often find myself with 300+ free bank spaces, it's unlikely I'll pay for more bank space... :)
  14. I don't leech unless friends offer it for free. I meant to achieve level 120, you would need 400m+. Well above that actually. You did mention it to get lvl 99. Whatever. Not done DG in a while, I'll try it soon with new version. First need to get that darned max cape.
  15. Read my post. I refer to it in the pre-certs era. Heck, even in the coin-only-bank era.
  16. http://abstract.cs.washington.edu/~tlin/drops/drops.pl
  17. Combat training at blessed spiders in underground pass Combat training at zombies outside Shilo for great - afk - exp Combat training at rats in clockhouse tower (low lvl accs) Combat training in black knights castle. Altar there, so infinity protect prayer for easy combat exp without burning food. Ranged training at Port Sarim jail - needed to really hop to find an empty world, later ranged training at king Lathas training camp, even later at greaters in ooglog cave (the one with the blue dragons). For f2p noobs that want arrows back: Guards in top floor varrock palace, safespot behind the beds. Also popular: the guards house in edgeville. 4 Guard spawns, two in the house, two out. Had to long narrow windows you could range through. Mining exp by power mining the 7 iron ore circle southwest of Ardougne. Mining for cash at the coal rocks around lvl 8 wild, as mining guild got crowded (pre-LRC). And waaaaay before that (around time item-banks were introduced) coal mining at barbarian village, where miners would come and buy coal 100gp each. Saved up for my first adam platebody there, which was 40040 gp at the time (and like what, 18k now?) Smithing exp from superheating iron ore to iron bars (before forging rings). Smelting jobs in general for smith exp with profit. Magic exp by high alching holy symbols from falador general store. Only thing you could get enough of, fast enough. Was that or bird cages in Ardougne, but the symbols had a 40gp return per cast. Magic training at the demon in wizards tower. Telegrab for rune helm drops. Telegrabbing nature runes was well.. convenient to get nature runes. Was an island in wilderness with 2 and 3 nature rune spawns. Mostly practiced when they were still considered 'new runes'. (chaos and up basically, for those who never knew different). Crafting exp from gem cutting. Just stand around offering cut gems for uncut. (pre-Grand Exchange). At higher lvls: make ruby/diamond ammy's and sell in the common 'market areas' (falador east, later varrock palace yard and falador park) Prayer/ranged training at the fire giants in hill giant wilderness dungeon. Due to aggressive NPC's and 3 round fixed combat, the one training could often escape from pkers before they got to them (if the fire giants turned non-aggresive). Same for waterfall fire giants, safer but crowded. Agility - Going back and forth on the ledge in Yanille dungeon. Was the fastest agi exp around in first week after skill release, preceded by the ledge in the barb outpost course (where people got the idea). Construction - First few lvls: Just build/destroy rooms for exp. Only bothered with planks after anything semi-decent could be made. Woodcutting/firemaking: Cutting down the 'forrest' south of falador, and burning logs as you went. If you had a circular pattern, there would always be fresh logs ahead ofyou. (days of old FM exp rate and only regular logs, think it was 20 + 2x lvl or so / log). Fishing: Flyfishing in lumbridge/barbarian village when fish automatically dropped with full inventory (RSC). Also, raw lobsters at karamja docks. They'd be sold to the general store there. As all general stores had the same content, you could buy karamja fished lobsters at varrock. Great for killing guards for combat exp. Cooking: 95% of RSC cooking took place at draynor. Uncert 5 raw lob certs, cook 25, cert to cooked and repeat. Do the walk of shame to bank if you misclicked and ate a lob, so certs would no longer match (multiples of 5). Heck, there's probably a picture on rsc boards where I'm cooking there in a white partyhat. (No, i no longer have it) Thieving - The holy grail of high lvl thieving was the paladins in top floor ardougne castle. Chaos runes were actually worth something. Records were set for most chaos runes thieved without leaving the tower. I recall people luring out some of the npcs to far end of their walking range, then hire another player to block the npc from walking back. NPC couldn't hit the thief, and couldn't wander as it was blocked. Later also the blood chest between the ogres was a popular combat training / moneymaker / prayer training spot. Paladin method got replaced by trapping and pickpocketing the knight for faster exp, due to lower fail rate. The cake stall was the awesome place for low lvl thieving, and the saphire stall ignored (well, gem stall, but was nicknamed saphire stall for obvious reasons). Also, nature chest in pirate hut used to be .. well, awesome. I often left there with 2k+ nats.
  18. If you paid 400m+ you got ripped off pretty badly. 86-99 was about 100m or so for me. Don't pay the prices the fc's advertise, there is far cheaper out there. And don't start leeching too early when the tradeoff gp to exp is horrible.
  19. Don't have to add set abbreviations, but for those that want to mark skill rooms they could maybe add text up to 4 chars to a room? Just listed those as examples of how one could quickly add a text marker that describes the skill room. Just a thought anyway
  20. As for the skill rooms.. would it be hard to implement text-markers on user imput? Most rooms can be described short enough: cfer, ffer, fer, port, gh, blo, emo, bar, .. up to end user to keep tags short enough for it to be readable.
  21. Never mind this post.. it's in the list. Failed to notice weapons are in a different sub list.
  22. As topic title says. Sadly, no screenie to confirm. By the time i noticed it wasn't in the list, i had left it in depositbox at random event.
  23. Progress charts to all 200m: [spoiler=Suomi] [spoiler=Jake] [spoiler=Elvis] [spoiler=Elias] [spoiler=I have quit]
  24. I'l see if I can find one. Not sure I still have though, its a long time ago. I held rank 1 from like lvl 63 to 71, in the first few days. Was the first to get 67 agi and find the shortcut to salarin the twisted. Got the first sinister key and the first torstol herb like that. Shacoya made the zamorak potion with it. Afer my initial agility rush I abandonned the skill for years. Apart from hunter, it's my lowest skill now (and not even 99 yet)
