If not in a hurry, and you do not care about actually banking the ores, wait untill beta goes live. Actionbar can have hotkeys for dropping ores from inventory... (so powermining will be alot easier)

I used to know him, but not close. Always a sad thing to hear when someone dies, but I doubt there's many of his close friends here to express my support to. Memory I have of him as RS Player: I killed him once in rsc. He was carrying an inv full or r2hs, minus one for a stack of chaos runes. Picked up all the R2h's, banked them.. Only to be told later by kryptix it was a stack of 25k chaos runes I didn't pick up....

I don't see your point since you light logs each 2 game ticks in Dungeoneering. Half of the times I try to light a fire, I'm told I cannot light a fire there...

Buying floors is definitely a possibility, but if you have low stats your money might be better spent elsewhere. Remember there are things like Penguin points, Tears of Guthix, Troll Invasion, JoT, Spin Lamps that can easily boost your skill. Most people actually recommend that's what you do until a certain level (at least unlocking occs). personally i just didnt care, my sanity is more important than some mills. i don't have high enough melee stats to solo smalls at a decent speed, (though i am training them), and ranged/mage is virtually broken in dung. Meh, try it with the appropriate armors etc. If you want to judge mage, get robes and a decent staff. If you want to judge ranged, get a hexhunter bow.

Such a shame there's no bonfires in dungeoneering.

One could also try and learn from experienced players by watching them during a bought leech floor. It's a good way to learn how to fight new bosses, how to do certain puzzle rooms.. what equipment to use, etc, and above all how they communicate. Learn how 'keyers' give commands, and learn how to act upon them. Watch how the map 'unfolds' during the floor, try predicting which will be the main paths, keep track of where key doors are etc. For example, a key door found really early near base, but only opens up after half the map is done, is often likely to lead to boss. Learn that from experience from skill door you can often tell if its a bonus path or critical path, etc.. And above all: With how the exp system works, know which floors are worth bothering with and which are not (i.e. which you should rush).

I had members trial on my alt account not to long ago. Was no problem to buy 5k silver bars, 5k lobsters, 10k maple logs, etc.. 300 noted items was a pain though. Also, as long as it's money.. get it traded back after trial expires. Quickly boosted it's skill total by over 300 lvls... (1200ish to 1500ish total) What bothers me far more is that membership trial accounts are used for advertising bots (like at w67 daemonheim etc).

This is dumb. Ppots are dirt cheap. Just max str. The last bit is optional. the rest doesn't affect strength. Why pay for verac repairs and pay more for pots, if theres no effect to str?

Melee protect can be great. If you'll ever get to the point where you use kuradal as slayer master, melee pray and afk them in kuradal's dungeon. EDIT: If you are going to melee them anyway, take proselyte instead of veracs. Soulwars cape for prayer if you have. If you have demonhorn necklace or split dragontooth necklace and bonecrusher, they are a fine combo to help prayers last.

In addition to my previous post: this might make some of the lower exp rate hunter methods more appealing. Falconry (dropping hides), lizards with catch-and-release. Might not be impacting the time to 200m, but might offer a more bearable method? (I hate jadinkos :) )

It looks great for powermining, powerfishing etc. Nice for cleaning herbs too. For wc, you'd need to be able to change the preset option to drop... As for combat, I find it.. well really confusing tbh. Putting on armor and lifepoints flashing as if you're about to die is plain weird. Armorless hunting for wilderness pengs/agi course running/etc. gets alot more tricky though.

Bruno, interesting list, thank you for that. As expected there are indeed a few quirks. Jake dropping from 2 to 5 surprised me, a few 1000+ rankers that get fairly high in this alternative ranking, and some people losing a fair few ranks.. (25ish to 50ish) in this system. The 3000 club is also way smaller then I anticipated.

Small request on my behalf... Can we have like a top 20 based on the uncapped levels? Like 200m exp being lvl 126 in something... lvl cap would be 3150. It'd be interesting to see how the adjusted level rankings compare to the total exp rankings. Lower total exp but higher base exp could give different results...

I do agree. My calc is offline now, sadly, though I do think I have the code backupped somewhere. Not that anybody really needs it - nobody is transitioning anymore besides from well.. me, when I bother playing.

I have no idea whatsoever. Game indeed died due to lack of new content and perhaps balancing the overpowered high hp ranks in combination with lows. As for forum delete: There's boards here even less active that still stick around :s

As the name suggest - german. For a while I helped him out with a text-based game similiar to Arenascape. Was rather shortlived though. I've never known it to be a shared account, but never say never.

Honestly, I don't remember flubber as being rank 1 either. Got a QFC for the post on it by any chance? Sounds like an interesting read.
