My first mistake was in 2002ish when I was like level 10, and I couldn't find anything so I just wondered around with all my stuff in my inv. I walked into the scorpion pit, and died easily because of the 3 hit rule. Another mistake I remember was my first time near the wilderness, I had my first set of full addy, my money and a bunch of fish I was trying to sell. I saw some guy and decided to attack him, he ran and I chased after him without healing, and he came back and attacked and killed me with a r2h.

If they were here for only PvP, wouldn't they have quit, say, 9 months ago? I did, and came back for PvP. The people I've talked to in BH all say they are just killing time/practicing for the pvp servers.

So, say in a hypothetical situation 90% of F2P subscribed. Are you insinuating that it would be a bad thing since 90% of the ad money goes with them? In that sense, it's actually a bad thing to try to convince people to subscribe to the game? I don't see how more people paying Jagex has a negative effect on their business. No, I mean 1% of f2p subscribe, and 10% of f2p quit altogether because they are only there for pvp.

From the players point of view it should be f2p. I can't stand members pking, even if Jagex paid ME the $10/month I wouldn't want to pk on members servers. It's too easy to die, and too easy to get kills, and you lose much more. For me it's about the skill, which is why I prefer losing and gaining less. I like the fact that if I have skill I can bring in a fair amount of money, but if I start dying I won't have to worry about earning more money to pay for it all. My only complaint about f2p pking is how long it takes to fish lobsters :/ From Jagex's view, they will gain members, but also lose a lot of f2p players ad money. The only reason why I came back after quitting is for f2p pk servers like in oldschool rsc.

The tobacco and alcohol industry is thriving and allowed by the government to some extent because of the heavy taxes they put on it. At one time in history alcohol was illegal and people found a way around it, prohibition really got the best of America, lol. It just never applied to marijuana, something that parties are trying to advocate these days. I know quite a few parents who basically stop supporting their kids around 16/17 years old. The only things they'll provide them with are necessities (food/shelter) and the kids have to go get jobs if they want to be able to have gas in their cars, pay for insurance, go out with friends, etc. It's hard to cut back on a job when you need money and cutting back on school is not an option. While I believe high schools are merely the gov'ts way of getting us ready for minimum wage jobs (if we choose not to futher our education), it's still important to graduate if you plan on making it in the world without working your [wagon] off only to dig yourself a deeper hole. That's almost abandonment :| I thought that was the norm. So did I. I'm 17 and for the last couple years I've paid rent, bought all my clothes etc. The only things that get paid for is stuff for school, food, toiletries and the internet. I think it's fair, it's my life not my parents.

Maybe they are talking about clan wars? BH sucks anyway. Everyone pjs, teams and waits in the middle with a bunch of people with them. I go in there looking for a good fight, and instead 90% of the time if there is one of them they run, and with 2 of them they team me and say "ahahahahha owned nooob" before I exit the crater. Then when I get a kill I get pjed within seconds, so I got sick of it and brought in just 10 food a bow and mith arrows to pj with which is starting to bring in kills. In closing, losing BH is no real loss to anyone anyway who doesn't rwt now that we are getting pvp worlds.

Skinny legs look terrible on women imo. As for guys wearing skinny leg jeans, they don't deserve the genitals they are crushing. I think those are the kind that look good on women.

If it helps, I can tell you how it works in Australia. Basically there are a few licenses for different types of engines, planes, cargo etc, some requiring other licenses and a certain amount of flying hours. Everything up to and including your commercial license costs around 35-40,000AUS. After that, to work for an airline you will need to get your hours up by working as a pilot doing other things such as agricultural work and chartering. If you get into an airline, your duties, hours and wages depend on how long you have been working at that company.

A topic I just posted in reminded me of this topic. I think we did have one a while back but I couldn't find it so I'm making another. Basically, what are you going to do when you leave school? Things such as further education, careers, hobbies, traveling etc. After I come back from the states at the end of January (can't wait to get back on the slopes) I'm doing an electrical apprenticeship in the army to fall back on, and then going to flying school while doing a physics course at tafe. That way I will be guaranteed at least 50k a year as an electrician from age 20, (more likely 70k+ after I get out of the army at 24 if things keep going the way the are.) and then up to 300k a year as a pilot. (After I've been with the same airline for a long time.) I love snowboarding and skiing, and will definitely go every winter I can. I also want to get good at pool, and have my own bar/table setup in my house. Reading the mystery method has also made me want to socialize as much as I can, which suits the hours that pilots usually have.

Up here we have qce - Queensland certificate of education. I did average in English, technology studies (an OP manual arts subject with focus on design, ergonomics etc) maths b, did well in athletics extension and physical ed, and just failed physics. Marks aren't important unless you want to go to uni, which I don't. I still learned a hell of a lot in the last few years though. Oh I see, you can't go on because you're the only person with homework and this must be the most stressful thing ever to happen to anyone who has lived for 18 consecutive years. If you want to smoke then smoke. Don't try and blame it on anything. To answer your question, after a cigarette your lungs will start repairing. If a smoker of 20 years doesn't have any cancerous cells and then quits, they only have the cancer risk of a non smoker. A couple cigarettes to relax each Friday afternoon isn't good for you, but it isn't that bad. If you want to be an occasional smoker, make sure you are strict with yourself. Make a plan of how many cigs per month week and day you will allow yourself, and don't go over the limit for anything.

Most of the pkers I own all have terrible names. One was not my fault, (it was a 50 magic pure I bought for $3 from my friend who wanted a coke) and a few were because I needed names with the name of the clan in it and didn't have much choice but to substitute numbers. (was a requirement for some clans in early classic) I did have a set of awesome pker names in classic, but I can't use them today because they are deemed offensive. (They weren't the stupid immature names people make, it was a set of original well named accounts) Are you being sarcastic? None of those names are taken.

If you know what you're doing, or you know someone who knows what they are doing, then you won't get a virus/password stolen etc. Mitb is clean, but the servers are terrible. The good rsc servers are kept underground. (The ones with 70+ people online at any time, 1x exp rates etc)

In the month I had membership I tanked at aviansies with 60 defense and crappy armor and I could easily survive off b2p tabs for as long as needed to. If anything it's probably your range level that needs to be higher.

The only thing I can think of that hasn't been mentioned is this: You can train yourself to sleep in a few ways, I know two techniques. The first being that you don't use your bed for anything other than sleep (or if you have a girl over) so your body gets used to not being awake in bed. The second build on the first, and rather than waiting in bed until you fall asleep, get in bed around 15 minutes before you fell asleep the night before. It can be hard, and it can get worse, but soon you will become accustomed to falling asleep within 15-20 minutes. Then just go to bed 15 minutes earlier again, until you are at the time you want. Also, even 1 late night can really mess up your sleep pattern so avoid them.

Sure, I'd love as many opinions as possible since this will be a life changing decision for me. Yeah I know ex military pilots are quickly snapped up, but I got told from my uncle who is a supervisor in the mining industry that they tend not to hire tradesmen trained in the military. I guess the worst case scenario is that after 6 years I have 200k cash + interest earned to use for flying school, and I try my luck earning enough hours for a commercial airline.. Yeah I'm going to try another few places, and to ask the career adviser at my school. As for talking to a recruiter, all they will say is that my electricians license is recognized in the civilian world. I have a question for an electrician, I've rang a few companies to no avail and today I've tried asking on forums. I registered on a couple forums and asked the question, one isn't getting replies and the other requires an admin to approve your registration which hasn't happened yet. I thought I would post here on the off chance it will be answered. So here is my question: I am turning 18 soon, and looking to be an electrician in Australia, as my means of falling back in case my pilot career doesn't take off. (geddit?) Learning the trade through the army or air force looks promising, it doesn't take as long and the pay is better than if I were to do a civilian apprenticeship. I also love the idea of the military because of all the other benefits like tax free pay, traveling, food and accommodation paid for, free medical treatment etc. The one thing I am concerned about is how employers see this in the civilian world, I'm curious about whether employers will be less likely to employ me because I was trained in the military rather than the regular way. I know that in the military my training will be focused on the military, and not on the types of things a regular electrician would be doing. So my question is will this hurt me, and what will my chances for a job be, if I was just out of the forces with 2 years training and another 4 years working as an electrician, compared to somebody just out of a 4 year apprenticeship or perhaps working 1 or 2 years after? It probably won't get answered, but I though I would post just in case. If anybody can get an answer I would really appreciate it. The more professional opinions on this the better.

I'm an athlete- I run the 100, 200 and 400m. I snowboard and ski, (which isn't common here since I live in Australia) I go out and or party almost whenever I'm not at school and I'm currently building a queen size bed. Oh and I'm going to be a pilot. Anyway didn't we have a talent thread not long ago? I concluded I'm much too awesome to type out all my talents.
