Man, some game journalists are just stupid. I mean they call themselves PC gamers and they thought that dedicated servers were free? How dumb do you have to be lol. The prices are pretty damn good too. Lets compare: $15/mo for a 18 player server in Black Ops $22/mo for an 18 player server in Counter Strike: Source $39.59/mo for an 18 player server in Call of Duty 4 $32/mo for an 18 player ranked server in Bad Company 2 And then you look at the unranked cost for a server which is honestly next to nothing, meaning that pretty much any clan or group of friends can have their own fun server to practice/scrim or do what they want for, what, like a $1 a month? People are so quick to jump on the bandwagon that they don't actually look at anything objectionably or think about it for a moment. MW2 was dumb because it didn't support dedicated servers at all. This is a lot more fair and is a great solution for a number of reasons.

I use Microsoft Security Essentials. Honestly I really like it. Really low memory use and unlike other free anti-virus software it doesn't bug me with annoying ass popups that are more annoying than what I was trying to stop in the first place. (I'm looking at you Aviria, you piece of [cabbage]). Same reason here lol.

That's good because I don't have enough motivation to make anything interesting. It's a pity too because I have a tablet and stuff now but I'm too lazy to get good with it. Meh lol. Uh on topic Hi rune, nice pictures.

Ive never played any games like black ops on the PC, so I didnt know if there was a price for servers. Well yeah of course. People don't give away dedicated servers for free. Granted you could host it on your own server but not many people do that.

Price isn't that bad for servers really. As long as you can customize the servers fine and take advantage of what a dedicated server gives you I have no problem with it.

Haven't really read through the thread so I apologize if it's been mentioned already. I'm more curious of what the geography of north america would look like without a "united states". Like would it all be controlled by one country or would there be multiple countries with land like in Europe? Also I wonder what it would mean for WW 1 or WW2? Would there have been a cold war without the United States? Far more interesting than wondering about what would get invented where in my opinion.

Heh that was the first anime I watched (save for DBZ I guess). Yeah. Can't say I keep up with it or anything but it's kind of hard finding quality stuff to watch.

I think the most ridiculous card from that set was the one that deemed you tear up a card and then throw it at the opponents cards. If pieces landed on them they lost the card XD. We always pussed out and tore up paper or something.

Heh man, was listening to Twilight of the Gods today on my way back from classes. Just reminded me how brilliant of a musician Quorthon was.

Heh yeah, it was pretty popular among me and my friends during 7th and 8th grade. (god that is such a long time ago now... lol). I still remember the joke set getting released (uncracked I think it was?) and me and my friends being all over that set. Led to some pretty funny moments such as me rushing to my friends room to steal a pair of his tan pants to wear. (a card deemed I had them or else I was in trouble). That's kind of lame. Granted it's not like you need new cards to just play with friends but still, pretty dumb. The entire concept of a TCG is generally revolved around people buying as many cards as possible haha. Honestly if I knew people who played I would maybe start up again (cards are all at my parents house tho) but can't be bothered to buy new cards or anything dumb lol. I was never that good at it even though I was a beast at building decks.
