Due to knowing a junior's brother when I was a freshman in high school (best friend of mine, my current roomate) I pretty much hung around her and the rest of the juniors and seniors. So yeah I was really never messed with even though I was (and probably still am) pretty prime choice to "bully". (skinny, nerdy and quiet). It's all about having the connections :D. Kind of funny really because I was honestly never bullied as a kid.

I used to play a lot 10 or 11 years ago. Still have a bunch of the old cards but I don't play anymore. Looking at the sets I think I started around the Urza's saga. I do have some of the older cards too from Arabian nights and stuff. I had the Battle Royale and Deckmasters sets too. Meh I used to have a lot of fun with it just because a lot of my friends played.

Can you restart in safe mode? More than likely it was just that her account was compromised and then used to spam the link to her friends. Sucks that you can't remember what the site was, would have made it a lot easier to figure out a solution.

Why was it unnecessary, though? If he ran away the pedohpile would just find him and punish him in some way. Going to the cops would just take too long and too inefficient. The boy had his own evidence, there was no need to bring it to bureaucratic court to be solved. +1 to Joe's post. :thumbup: Because we can't just let people going around doing their own vigilante justice. There is no way to tell if the guy actually wanted to rape him or not and without any evidence you are just relying on the word of some guy. Yea well, if you feel that you are in danger you have the right to use self-defense. Whether the justice system feels what you did is right or wrong is another story. Self-survival is more important than the survival of someone trying to hurt you. But I see what you mean, we don't know if what the defendant said is true. yeah that's my entire point. Self defense, in reason, is perfectly acceptable. If you are afraid for your own life and the only way out is to kill them, do it. However There is nothing (at least that the article states) that made me think this man could have killed the kid. If it was a 12 year old, sure, but a 17 year old? I think he could handle himself without having to kill someone.

The way the title was wrote made me think it was a 12 year old boy or something, not a 17 year old who is a year away from legally being an adult. Too much speculation too I think. Of course it's kind of hard to make a judgement call on something that didn't actually happen. You would think he would have been able to just shove away or hit the man or something and run, killing seems pretty unnecessary.

Decided to switch up my avatar out of boredom. Other than that been playing a bit of Quake Live recently. I really suck at it (I always was an Unreal man) but it's pretty fun.

Me and my roomates 360 is the new 4gig version. Old 20 gig model broke so we decided to go for it instead of a preferb. Honestly I hardly use the damn thing (same for him) so 4 gig is more than fine. I do most of my actual console gaming on my PS3. Btw the dpad thing, ever play a fighting game? Of course that being said I wouldn't spend that kind of money when you could get a fight stick for that price.

C4D is a program (Cinema 4D, a 3D program) but people for some reason use it to describe 3D abstract renders. It doesn't make much sense to me especially considering how few people actually use C4D now (the program).

I don't give a [cabbage] about that because if people are "boosting" on the server I play on they'll probably just get kicked. Honestly I never heard of the concept until I read some of the MW2 posts.

Seriously tho I think I had that PC Gamer issue lol. I remember seeing the screenshots of Duke Nukem Forever (which was done, IIRC, in the Quake 2 engine) and being amazed by it.
