Slayer..
Yeah those are estimations, which even if it is pretty far off the #1 choice will still be better. If you're fast and consistent, you could easily time several hours of Slaying and average them up. It wont be 100% accurate, but it'll be close enough. That's what people do to get their numbers for Slayer. You can go tell Zarfot that he's wrong if you'd like. So, yes, Nic DID hit the nail on the head. Also, this a debate, and as such, numbers are paramount. Fun is a nonissue. If you want to talk about fun, go to general discussion and start a thread titled "101 ways to have fun NOT Slaying:twss:."

An Essence of Skills Divided
Your character does not know how to kill certain monsters, so the masters train you to do so. That's the point of Slayer. As you said yourself, "practice makes perfect."

An Essence of Skills Divided
I believe Summoning is a very good skill, as explained above.

Slayer..
The problem with range slaying is that you can only use the black mask's effect while on task. You can train range and range a task in exactly the same way. So theoretically, it'd be faster Slayer AND Range experience if you melee'd your Slayer tasks and trained range outside of Slayer. Now, some tasks ARE better ranged, but it really depends on your priorities. Now, the OP assumes that your priority is range, so why not train Slayer with range? As stated above, your time is best spent melee'ing. However, a task like fire giants is slightly faster ranged with a cannon than melee'ing with a combat familiar (unless you can use a steel titan or an iron titan, but that's speculation on my part.) Alas, I'm sure that that's the only task that is POSSIBLY more efficient using range. I'm very skeptical of that, however. So all in all, I would say that the best way to slay would be to melee most tasks and range just enough to keep your range level even with your melee stats. If you use a cannon, this is not difficult. DISCLAIMER: I understand the OP's original point, as stated in sentence two of paragraph two of this post.

Need advice on how to modify my money making methods
Ooo, one question on cosmics, do you just use ooglog pools and run to bank at zanaris using agil shortcut, or do you abyss it? Abyss using a lurker or parasite and super energies. Don't bother with Ooglog. Keep in mind that Avianses are probably more money per hour if you're willing to pay attention like you'll have to do while Runecrafting.

Need advice on how to modify my money making methods
He mentioned 59 Runecrafting cause that's when you can craft double cosmics. I personally do double cosmics and ranarrs for cash, and I usually make about 1-2m a day. Switch to astrals at 82 RC and snapdragons at 65 Farming.

Achieving level 99, naturally.

Slayer dart on mith dragons...
Actually, melee with a black mask+lead bladed sword is more effective, and melee (with or without mask) is the only way to really profit off of miths assuming you never get a visage or DFH.

Jagex begins fixing long-wrong prices
@Soma: I thoroughly enjoyed reading that, and I find it to be very interesting. I think it's pretty unlikely that CB'ers are suddenly getting very lucky. I'm curious to see what will happen. When I woke up this morning and checked GE prices, I noticed and was stunned to see that PVP gear had dropped. Then I noticed the ESS had gone up. Some serious [cabbage] is going down.

Boxer briefs. Perfect fit. They don't ride, they cradle your junk, and you look cool when you take your pants off.

Not Sailing you noobs, it's Exploration.
Sailing = sailing the sea's, finding treasures and shoot cannonballs at random directions. exploration = entering dark caves, forests, deserts, tombs and look for monsters, treasures, hidden paths, bosses, minable rocks, choppable trees, etc. Sailing was to unlock new lands etc, it's the same [bleep] thing once you realise that you'll all go "ahh" and realise your gulable. But you don't need to build a lame boat to reach them. Read again. If only your forum name actually meant something. So, Exploration is Sailing because you can sail using Exploration? So birds are nests because they live in nests?

Why? Do I really need to elaborate? Educate me.

Any new techniques for firemaking..?
There's a guide on the forums here that explains firemaking in different directions. Using that, you can make fires at full speed in any shape, pattern, or direction you please. It's most efficient to make a line going away from a bank, then a line going back to the bank, but I prefer to make circles around banks, just because it's fun. You basically click on the tinderbox, click on the log, then right when the fire starts, you click on the square that you want to move to, and immediately click on the tinderbox and another log, and repeat. It took me about an hour of practice to get it down. It's much faster.

What will Happen With new Releases in the Future
What does that even mean? I've heard some amazing ideas, both on this thread and elsewhere. Weapons and armor that level as you use them, specialized equipment, PvM exclusive, etc, etc. I do not think the HP cap needs to be raised. Instead, they COULD change the way HP works. Say your hitpoints and your hitpoints level were two separate entities. You gain two hitpoints per hitpoints level, so at level 99 HP you have 198 hitpoints. That's just an example of course, but it's far more plausible than raising the cap. You could also have this effect disabled in PvP, so that your 99 HP was really 99 hitpoints. Attaching items to weapons that give them a boost while making them untradable is a possibility. Fools idea of taking a chance at reinforcing your armor was pretty good, and I wouldn't mind more PvP style equipment that degrades quickly but offers immense benefits.

Your math is terrible. ;) 8/10. His math is correct... Ot: Grats, 2 very useful levels you got there. 10/10 + 9/10 + 8/10 = 27/10. Go back to elementary school.
