A Guide to Chinning in Ape Atoll
Thank you for this. May Vishnu bless your crops in the harvest season. (But really, this is an extremely helpful guide.)

10-Feb-2009 Soul Wars Minigame
I think the rewards are fine. The pets are cool and the gambling is a fun way to collect a few GP. It just sounds to me like there needs to be a large variety of Slayer monsters on the field, and the teams need to be more balanced like in SC.

Am I going crazy?
I. Hate. Walking. Away. From. The. GE. EVERY. TIME. I. EXIT! I play on low detail, so it's not HD exclusive. I also hate looking at my friend's list to see a bunch of new friends. As for your random item disappearances... I was doing While Guthix Sleeps today, and the garlic that I got from a druid... disappeared. I was angry.

How many people have maxed out? Part 3
Nobody cares. You're wrong, sadly. I care, i much preffered having Zezima at the top than a few people who have got to the top through basically one skill. At the expense of sounding like a drooling fan, if Zezima were to finish Summoning, he'd automatically be number two, and I have no doubt that he could overtake number one in no time at all. Zezima is truly one of the best. It's amazing to me that so many people maxed out in such a short amount of time.

Feb 9 2009: The Future of Runescape
Your answer. I lol'd. Andrew is a funny guy. I've always liked the BTS, so I'm gonna miss it, but I'm optimistic that this year will be a good one for Runescape.

Slayer Sucks
I believe the experience rates he uses are with super sets and 10% strength only. EDIT: Do not take my word for it.

Dragon Claws
Sorry if I misinterpreted, but you don't want any weapon that is stronger than a Godsword coming out? --- Also, just because a few people went crazy and bought the claws for 80m+, it in no way means you make other people face the consequences who mostly got them as a drop. Nerfing them would be a very bad thing, mind you. If there was a time to update them, it was 2-3 weeks after their release. I don't think you'll see any change after 3 months. Thanks.. Lord Shalaj You're right. We do play Runescape, after all. We can never expect things to stay the same. I suppose my point then is that Dragon Claws are much better than any other Dragon weapon, and I don't think that's right. I highly doubt they'll actually nerf the claws.

Three firecapes without banking.
It's nice to see something other than a level on Rate This. 10/10 for being a complete badass.

Dragon Claws
I'm a bit weary of nerfing a weapon that is only good for its special, but as someone else mentioned, a Godsword is called a Godsword for a reason. Dragon Claws should not take away from that. A lot of dragon weapons have great, useful specials, but the claws are far above and beyond the other dragon weapons. That isn't right.

Guy/girl for a day?
I actually have that view of everyone. If people would just TRY, they could be attractive. Most of the time, the first step is going outside and running for twenty minutes a day.
-
Guy/girl for a day?
It would be pretty damn funny if a guy woke up as an extremely unattractive girl one morning. All of those fantasies of touching yourself and looking in the mirror all day would instantly evaporate. Regardless, I think it would be a cool experience. At the very least, I'd gain a new understanding of women. If I turned out to be an attractive female, . I don't think most women would be able to handle being a guy. We make it look really easy. Here's a typical day for a man: 1) Get up, masturbate. 2) Make a breakfast of ham, bacon, eggs, and brake fluid. 3) Chop down a tree. 4) Repair a truck or an old car. 5) Track and kill a bear using just your hands. 6) Use all the parts of said bear. 7) Have sex with 200-300 women. 8) Simultaneously. 9) Track and kill a family of wild boar, including piglets (boarlets?) 10) Eat all of the parts. 11) Lay down to rest, but never to sleep. Men are always aware of their surroundings. 12) Refer to step 1. 13) ???? 14) Profit.

Is my beaver a failure?
I've been using it for the boost, and I definitely notice a difference than without it. The scrolls waste time and they don't cut anything above Oak, really. Or it doesn't like you.

Dragon Claws
Those last two answers are extremely ambiguous. You haven't done a similar analysis soloing? That would give you a much clearer victor.

D claws or...
Same deal with AGS, only more expensive and less powerful. D claws > AGS in every way one would use an AGS. I'm confused how you come to the conclusion about ags, d claws are very useless, but ags still has the power to hit 50+ very commonly, and its slow speed comes at an advantage when killing a boss which you need to eat alot at over quicker weapons because you can eat/pot between hits and still hit the same, whereas you lose the att turn with other weps. AGS (and all other GS's) are also very good when you get few hits against an enemy, and need the big few hits. Godswords are useless for any type of fighting. Whip is better for any sort of team GWD; you don't have to eat much, and it can dish out more damage per minute. What about solo?

D claws or...
If you do a lot of Castle Wars and minigames, you'd probably have a lot of fun with the claws. Otherwise, a DFS and BGS are much more useful. If anything, save up a bit and sell one or the other, but not both. EDIT: Compfreak claims that a Rune Defender and Whip are better than a GS for boss hunting, so you could sell the BGS and save up, then use whip + def + claws to boss hunt, which should be useful. Don't take my word for it, though. I'm not entirely convinced yet that he's right, but it would be worth trying.

~~Elysian sigil drop~~
10/10 for getting the drop. 10/10 for getting 20m+. 10/10 for the guy who got the sigil. I wish I was that guy, but congratulations on the epic drop.

-Your early days of runescape-
My best friend at the time told me all about Runescape, and I went to his house one day so he could help me make an account. We were 11, I believe. He was Madmaster220, so we tried to think of a cool name for me. He came up with [edited]! To this day, it's still a badass name. He told me to be a non player killer, and to be a miner so I could make money. From then up until members was released, I spent half my time mining, and half my time wandering around doing nothing. Runescape was this fantasy world, so I got really caught up in "adventuring." Unfortunately, that also meant that I wasn't training! Ha! I should also mention that I had no idea that there were holiday events, and I didn't read the front page. When members was released, I took upon myself to travel from Falador to Ardougne everyday, trekking across White Wolf Mountain, which was the scariest place in the game, at the time. :D I have no idea why I did that. I remember finding the mine over by Taverly dungeon, and that became my new mining spot. That's also where I saw the highest level player I had ever seen. L6vi, who was about 112(ish?) at the time. Maybe 114. It was three digits. EDIT: DUELING! I used to love sitting in Lumbridge watching the duels. Players in full rune with dragon weapons were amazing to me. I think everyone used dueling as a quick way to get to Lumbridge. When RS2 Beta was released, I spent a lot of my time walking around it for no particular reason. I just thought it was amazing that Runescape could look like that. As soon as Runescape 2 was released, I made the switch. Never looked back. I regret that now. I believe I did Rune Mysteries, then I took a very long break. I came back two years later and decided that I want to be able to wear black d'hide. I mined 1,000 iron ore and 2,000 coal. I fletched 15,000 arrow shafts, and I hired noobs to collect 15,000 feathers for me. I made my 15k steel arrows and ranged for two months from level 36 to 70. Then I discovered Slayer. The rest is history, I suppose.

Slayer..
-.- -.- -.- -.- -.- -.- That's true, but in the long run, it will average around 10% given a greater sample. There's a chance that I will not hit at all on a fire giants for 10 straight attempts, after sampling these 10 misses, would it be wise for me to say that training at fire giants gives 0 xp per hour? Probably not. When determining the average rates for slayer, you need a big sample and usually stable combat stats (meaning you don't gain any combat levels in that time frame). After around let's say 50 tasks you should have a pretty accurate average that translate to your combat level. You can expect then to reach that average over a couple tasks but you can't expect to get it every task (daganoths and steel dragons gives way different rates). Well, thats kinda yes and no. In the long run, in technicality you'd expect it to have a rough average of it, but then you know for a fact it wont 100% be that number or anything close to it. What's a task given by chaeldar a bit? I havent had anything other than turoths, fire giants, or blue dragons, other than 2 zygomites and 2 basilisks, for probably 20~ tasks. And it isnt a loop. Well, twenty tasks is a very small sample size, so it wont give you your experience per hour.

Broken Axes and Pickaxes.
Don't count on it. No doubt thousands of players are buying up broken axes in anticipation.

The Balance Elemental
While doing Perils of Ice Mountain, the Oracle tells you that in future languages, your character's name means "kindness." It's little, yeah, but sounds profound to me. Just thought it was interesting.

There's no way that Jagex would let that happen.

Quest - The Birth of a Dragon
So, does the second special only work with Dragon Bolts? The first special with enchanted bolts? A little confused on that part. Otherwise, it's very well thought out, and I like that you either need high agility, or to kill a brutal green every time you go in. Brilliant. I like it a lot.

Slayer Sucks
Your argument is getting dumber. What you earn outside of slayer, or indeed if slayer 'loses' or 'gains' money is MEANINGLESS. It's not a 'gain' or 'loss' factor, its a set GP per hour. A side earning method will not alter the methods in ANY way. And for that matter, I can make 950k an hour at Armored Zombies, so slayer REALLY sucks. Still on about the zombies, eh? Well I'm done arguing, in that case. I've proven that I'm able to easily fund Slayer while coming out ahead, so all of this nonsense about things which I've never stated nor implied are getting redundant and tiring. This will be my final post on the matter. I wanted to apologize for the last sentence in my last post, which was completely uncalled for. No hard feelings, I hope. EDIT: That last sentence I spoke of is missing a word. How ironic.

The Balance Elemental
Maybe by saying that the Balance Elemental was passing the torch? Are we (you) now the guardian of the stone of Jas? Maybe thats how we are going to defeat Lucien? We now have the favor of Guthix and cannot die while protecting the stone? I'm thinking this is the most plausible explanation. That, or it was just rambling, but I highly doubt it.
