Double astrals/cosmics? Well, thats interesting, but it doesn't disprove the point. Green Dragon slaying beats practically every high level skill in money making, even ones that require an extreme levle of dedication to get. And anyone can walk into the wildy and start killing them whenever they feel like it. Someone can spend hundreds of hours training their mining to 85, but they will still get only a fraction of the profit of Green Dragons. I think that is nonsense. You can thank the crafting skillcape for that situation. Are you implying that 400k per hour is consistent no matter what your combat level is? That the rate doesn't change from 60 combat to 138 combat? I can get 59 Runecrafting before you can get the melee stats required to make 400k per hour at green dragons. 85 mining makes two to three times as much per hour as green dragons for less work. You're making very exaggerated claims.

That's a question you need to ask yourself. If you decide that you care about total levels; train slayer.

Alright, alright... srs bsns taim. Get a quest cape first. That will give you fairly balanced stats, which you need. I'd say go for 99 Hunter. It's fast, profitable, and (in my opinion,) fun. If you really want to AFK it, just do fishing.

Even if you were wearing an Elysian Shield, 3rd age plate, legs, and amulet, I would still rate it a fail/10 because of that hat. Ringmaster is the epitome of unoriginality.

It's identical to two players attacking a slayer monster on task. If you don't believe me, try it out next time you get mages. Can I get another slayer in here to corroborate?

Go for 99 Slayer. DO IT. You'll have 99 in one of the slowest skills in the game. You'll have maxed melee stats, and close to 99 Summoning and 99 Ranged. DO IT DO IT DO IT.

That's correct what you say there, but to be honest... There's so many good spots where the mages are attacked by zamorak monsters that i don't think anyone should go to the zamorak mages as that's waste of prayer. While not on task, you may be right, though I would prefer the faster kills. While on task, definitely use prayer and use the spot in front of the boss door, because you lose a lot of slayer experience to the monsters that attack the mages. In her case, it doesn't really matter. SirHemen's advice is good for off-task mages.

The best setup for a non slayer task is actually: Neitiznot Fury Pros body Zamorak vestment robe bottoms fire cape rune defender whip zerker ring barrows gloves Maximizes attack bonus while maintaining decent prayer bonus with protection from Zamorak minions. Best spot to slay is right in front of the boss door. Use prayer, of course.

I assume you're using range? You shouldn't have too much trouble with Armadyl or Sara, so keep trying. With Bandos... kinda iffy with range. It's not bad, but melee is better. Also, for Bandos, when you need to eat, run underneath the boss and make him dance with you. This prevents him from hitting you while you heal up. But you have great stats for Armadyl and Sara, so again, keep trying.

That's tricky. Your combat stats are lower, and we really need a standardized testing method for this. I'll start doing my own soon, I can dump it into a chart. I'll keep track of levels gained and all that jazz. I'm a very fast though, so hopefully it'll be useful. ;)

I'm about to start slaying again, and I plan on keeping detailed logs on all of my tasks. I'll have my own numbers to contribute soon enough.

Cannon and combat familiars are a significant factor. Also, a Slayer Helmet + Fury provides a larger boost than Salve (e) + Neitiznot. Cannons are an inefficient method of training ranged though, and they don't add to your melee experience, just the slayer experience. How are you putting together two slower training methods and getting a faster training method? If you're putting stuff together, shouldn't you be combining two fast methods? And if you need a geyser titan for slayer to be more efficient, that's a pretty heavy qualifier. A cannon significantly speeds up tasks and experience per hour. It doesn't matter if it's an inefficient way of training range, because you use it to boost Slayer experience. The extra range experience is a bonus, and a large one. So we completely disregard a combat skill because you cannot use it effectively at armored zombies? You don't even need a geyser titan for summoning to make a significant increase in experience per hour. As soon as you can use an Overlord, you're set, and every major combat familiar after that just makes it better and better. And why in the world are you referring to a cannon as if we're using it exclusively to train? Have you ever trained Slayer?

It takes you two years to get to 85 mining? What are you mining, tin? Rune mining is almost on par with 91 Runecrafting if you can do it perfectly. On top of that, I actually enjoy mining. Tied with Farming for my third favorite skill. :thumbup:
