Your freedoms end when they infringe upon those of another.
  2. Hm, are we supposed to post an entire sequence of events, or merely an alternate outcome and have others speculate on its effects? Well, I'll say this anyway: What if the Hindenburg hadn't crashed? Kudos to anyone who gets the reference.
  3. You linked to a racial nationalist website. Biased sources are not credible, and a source from people who believe that segregation is the right direction for the US to go in is so deep in bias it's not funny. And making statements like 'I don't have an overinflated ego, I just happen to be right' is hypocritical to the extreme.

Almost exactly one year ago, I went to my first concert, the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Can't compare it to any others seeing as it's the only one I've been to, but it was pretty awesome.
  5. I'm signing this petition. We don't need a flaming idiot with a superiority complex running around here spouting unreasonable, unsupported, and frankly offensive crap.
  6. National Treasure 2 - it was surprisingly good for the typical spontaneous sequel to a smash hit. I guess it has to be, given the subject material. Still couldn't quite live up to the first, though.
  7. Uh...What? According to that, to find 7 more than 10... Multiply 10 by 2 = 20. 20+4 = 24. 24 isn't 7 more than 10? And in my words (Haha...) a word is something used to communicate. Usually written/spoken, but I think there are other ways. Notice he specifically started with 7 and 3, and that he progressed to 8 and 4, 9 and 5, etc. It's a pattern.
  8. You make no flippin' sense. How does the fact that some Spartan men had gay relationships, but still reproduced with females, relate to pedophilia? Furthermore, how does pedophilia relate to gays in such a way that giving them the right to marry and therefore satisfy their sexual desires with a partner increases it?
  9. The Bible is meant to be read contextually, not literally. Anyone who takes it literally is out of their mind. The Old Testament was written for a far less civilized people thousands of years ago, and while it can still contain good moral lessons, none of the literal instruction it gives is taken seriously by the Catholic Church, in recognition of the sheer impracticality and in some cases barbarity. The New Testament revolves around the far more recent and factual life of Jesus. However, still the only aspect to be taken literally is the existence of Jesus, and his works if you are inclined to believe them. The culture was still radically different and less civilized than today, and anyone who takes an instruction on what to do based on the perceptions of the Middle East 2000 years ago is, once again, an idiot.
  10. Eh, guess I'll address it then. You don't have faith that the chair will hold you up; you have made a logical conclusion that it will hold you up after seeing evidence in favor of that conclusion. I don't know where you get this 'faith is based on revelation' thing. Faith is belief in a concept despite a total lack of evidence. There is a total lack of evidence for God, therefore it is a matter of faith to believe in Him. It is not a matter of faith to believe that the chair will hold you up, because you have seen evidence that it will. Therefore, you can make the logical assumption that it will hold your weight. Faith is illogical. Believing in something without any evidence whatsoever is the exact opposite of logic, is it not?
  11. I might not be around when i win, so just change my title to read 'Retired Admin/Site Crew'. :P What is the point of entering if you're not going to continue to post, thereby depriving another user who posts more frequently the honor? Not to be discriminatory, but the I think the same goes for the new users with very few posts. If they come up with some amazing slogan that takes the cake, they win the rank, only to perhaps stop posting after a week as their interest in the forum disappears. I realize this is a generalization, but it is true somewhat. I don't really know what could be done about it, as it would just be unfair to deprive them of the chance to win, but it defeats the purpose of the rank if they aren't around to show it.

Hm, all I can think of now was three or four summers ago, first day of summer vacation and I broke my arm :x . That's half the things to do for the summer down the drain. I know I've probably had way worse stuff though, just can't be bothered trying to remember :P .
  13. [hide] Sadly, those of us in high school have multiple commitments - i.e., school, mass homework, extracurriculars, and most importantly girls. Add all the crap we have to do together and subtract it from our total waking hours and you have our free time. You're sophmores. That's technically and without a doubt the most worthless year, even more worthless than senior year. Start Junior year, then talk. That is, if you even find time to breathe. Yeah, I've heard that...sadly. I'll catch up eventually. I just haven't played in 4 or 5 days. I will soon enough I suppose. [/hide] Oh, bother. I know it's a worthless year, but that doesn't make it less difficult than eighth grade. Never mind. I wasn't trying to be mean either, runescapeloser, I was just pointing out that relative to where you are (AJ >.>) we have less time to play.
  14. Ha, that's pretty awesome. The pic makes Vader's head look way too small because of the reflection  . And yeah, I heard SC Legends sucked. This one had better be multi-platform.

  16. Wow, you fixed it. That was lucky, you must have still been on the forum right? The post had stretched under the Recent Performances window, so you couldn't click on the veiw forum link. But your new post fixed it. And the crisis passed.

Ha, I knew it varied by state. I was pretty sure the age of consent in Ohio was 16.
  18. No clue when I learned, but I'm one of those people who's shoes are perpetually tied until I accidentally step on the laces or something. And there's a different way to tie shoes than the loops? Never learned it.
  19. Nom replied to dark_blob's topic in Off-Topic
Doesn't the age of consent in the US vary by state? I know that the general standard for viewing and participating in pornographic material is 18, but I think the age of consent between a couple can vary from 16 to 18 by state.
  20. Oooo...I respect you so much more now  You should. Every Boy Scout who learns how to use a gun properly means one less idiot and potential threat who doesn't. No. And what do you have against Boy Scouts in the first place? The Boy Scouts have been around for a long time. When they were founded, that was the most common length for men's shorts. Styles change, but the BS have not. I hate them and never wear them anyway, most Scouts don't except for very formal occasions. That kid was a Boy Scout. This is the sort of senseless dislike that the Boy Scouts don't need nor deserve. So the organization isn't your cup of tea - fine, but that doesn't make us lower than you.
  21. Riku just made it impossible to get to the forum on the Tour Group page  :ohnoes: .
  22. they dont have security guards they have boy scouts Did you know, the Boy Scouts are something like the seventh line of defense for the US, after the National Guard  .
  23. Congratulations, you win the totally random and irrelevant quote of the day award.
  24. [hide] lulz manbearpig Is it half man and half bearpig or half bearman and half pig? Maybe it's half man, half bear, and half pig... That last part is theoretically impossible, I.E. three halves. Ah whatever...it's late. I guess people just like discussing things other than runescape. [/hide] The most logical composition would be one third man, one third bear, and one third pig. Which still isn't logical at all.
  25. Lmao, DaDieselDude. I go to school with him irl. It's true, he says it constantly.
