  1. All's fair in love and war, I guess. Plus, evolution can be a [bleep]. In today's day and age, everyone has a smorgasbord of choice in partners. Gotta work for what you want.
  2. Yep. It blows. But it's realistic. I'm a sore loser anyways, so I enabled cheats. Whenever I lose I just say, "[bleep] YOU" cheat, build an army of champion huskarls, cavaliers and arbalestiers 200-strong and basically [bleep] every single army of whoever beat me in the face.

Ooo, I'd certainly be tempted. If I was in Australia, I'd snatch that up like nobody's business. I really need to finish this "chapter" on my tale ...
  4. Being blessed by a 22-year old brother who's started breeding me for cool and literature. The main things you need to look into are The Game by Neil Strauss, which I think everybody should read first, as an introduction and shock-absorber, and then, judging by what you like the most, delve deeper into: Mystery Method Speed Seduction Juggler Cocky-Funny Although a nice mix of all is really good.
  5. Oh boy. Indie Rock time. Modest Mouse Goo Goo Dolls Everclear The Shins Spoon Iron & Wine White Stripes Oh man there are a ton more but I have to do my essay. You should give Pandora a try.

Harrison Ford is still badass. Playing badass characters only adds to it. Seriously, you have to be badass if you're approached by somebody who says, "Hey, you look like you could be a cool smuggler who flies a spaceship and doesn't take [cabbage] from anybody." And then approached by someone else who says, "Hey, you look like a paleontologist/archaeologist/asskicker that doesn't take [cabbage] from anybody and lives around WWII time."
  7. Well, a 50/50 one is playing with her hair. That means she's either bored or likes you. But who cares if you're the one guy she's set on or not. Girls aren't very picky when they're single (for the most part, I know high-school girls are often an exception to this). Flirting ... Well, you don't want to approach her alone. Get her in a two-set or three-set. MAKE SURE TO PAY ATTENTION TO WHOEVER SHE'S WITH. One thing my brother always did was make his "target" hold something, like a drink, while he won over her less-attractive (or male) friends. Whenever she tries to talk, PLAYFULLY say something along the lines of, "Man, she interrupts everything, how are you friends with her?" Do something like this a few times, it's called negging. A playful, seemingly unintentional insult. Girls go crazy about that, because they think they need to prove themselves to guys that don't drool over them. After a few minutes, ask the group if it's cool if you talk to her, they'll probably say yes, so you: turn to her and say, "Hey, sorry if I was a little bit of an [wagon]. Come here, I wanna show you something cool." Do something that involves mind-reading or personality, centering around here. Try not to make it seem like you're hitting on her. Oh yeah, this is important. When you lead her away, lead her by her hand. If you squeeze and she squeezes back, that's a MAJOR IOI. So do something like that, namely the cube routine is good for beginners (look it up). Then, if you've received at least three indications, either say: "Hey, we should continue this another time." And take her number. Or, if you're feeling like a man and you're confidant - plus she isn't a very shy girl - ask her if she'd like to kiss you. Flat out. Yes? Say "Ok" and go for it. Maybe? Say "Let's find out." No? Say "I wasn't planning on letting you. You just kept looking at me like you were expecting something." When you're talking to the group, CONTROL YOUR BODY. No nervous movements. OOZE confidence. Rocking back and forth is okay though, because it makes you look like you'll leave any second. Oh, and make sure not to approach the group from the back. You want to hit them in the front, and be diagonal to your target. GL BRO.
  8. Same IOIs as most girls, really. Although if you know her, it's a little harder, since she probably won't be asking questions. If she touches you a lot after you tell her she can't, tries to get your attention if you talk t her and then leave, or leans towards you a lot when you talk, those are three of the most important ones. haha, just read up on what that is, me mate used to pretty much do this by wearing this pair of rainbow coloured trainers, whenever a girl made a comment about them he had this story lined up about how he rescued a Taiwanese boy from a sweatshop who made him the trainers to say thank you. Not sure if that would be classed as peacocking but was always a decent and funny icebreaker that got im chatting. Great idea. Having a cute, personal, funny, yet not sexual or threatening story to back up something like that is one of the best ways to net most of the girls out there. That's why diamond companies make so much. Those are just a poor man's diamonds.
  9. Bahaha. I learned that a SAW with doubletap is [bleep]ing ridiculous. You'll shred a person with a light, sexual caress of the trigger. I love it more than the M16.

Haha, damn Kenyans. Been writing and listening to music all day. Pretty nice.
  11. That's what is known as AFC thinking by the guys in that game. They tend to simplicate guys into three groups: AFCs (average frustrated chumps), PUAs (pickup artists), and AMOGs (Alpha Male Other Guys). AFCs are most dudes who just can't really get a girl. They try the honest thing and all that, but to be honest, girls aren't that attracted to the guy nervously walking up to them and buying them a beer. Pickup artists are generally average guys (or naturals who've always known how) that have decided to take action and become the alpha male women really want. Alpha males are the strong, bulky, RAAAAWWWR MY GURL guys that would gladly just bash your head in to take the girl. You might think it's all tricks and such, but if you look at it from an evolutionary point of view, it's how you continue your genes. It isn't smooth lines and fast talking, it's proven methods to help build attraction between strangers that otherwise may not have occurred because one party (namely the AFC) didn't have the confidence or just wasn't interesting enough for the girl. Girls definitely have the easy part in heterosexual couples. They sit there and look good until someone catches their attention enough to be considered a "mate". For people who want real relationships, fine. This just builds confidence. None of this is lying; it's flirting.
  12. That's one reason I've started collecting vinyl. Interesting conversation piece.
  13. Oh boy, I might get to go paragliding this summer! I forgot my friend's school in Amarillo had a little powered paragliding club. I sure hope they'll let me. That'd be SWEEEEEEEEEET.
  14. I just brought up the introduction. Dan'll be able to help with the rest. I have like four hours of recordings from Mystery's seminars and stuff, and I just sit here and listen to them while I'm on the internet. And I gotta say, it's better to hear him talk like this. It just sorta embeds into your head better. He goes into a lot more detail of sets and stuff he's done, just stories and his own method. EDIT: Oh, and dan brought up peacocking. Definitely true about that. You'll get a lot of attention by standing out.
  15. We don't get lockers. But then, when you have a 5-minute passing period, a campus of 4 square miles, and 2,200 people flailing around the whole time, there isn't really a chance to get to said locker, so I guess it would be pointless. I want one of those leather rucksacks.
  16. HOLY CRAP Pull a Rowling. Work as a teacher for a while, then quit and start getting welfare so you can write and pretend to have went from rags to riches.
  17. Better than I could've said. And I like the double paper-close, because he actually likes this girl. In case you need indicators of interest - leaning towards you, asking somewhat personal questions about you, playing with your hands or something like that. If she ever touches you, say, "Hey, I usually charge five dollars a touch." She will be all over you. Cat-string. Cat-string. We could be a teaaaaam, dan! That part brings up whole new questions. Jokey joke.
  18. I've decided that I just want to be on a Cracked article where my testicles are mentioned in some way, shape, or form. That way I will have obviously completed everything on my bucketlist. And yours. And Theodore Roosevelt's.
  19. I don't know. They have specials on smaller games all the time, though. I'll check if there's one now... Nope, not right now. I know I've heard of some sort of special on Mount & Blade coming up soon, either there or Steam or something. Like a summer sale.
  20. Haha, I want to try absinthe so bad. It just seems so ... interesting. Like if you drink it, suddenly you sprout wings. But you're too cool to notice them.

Nobody. And I'm not gonna check under your bed tonight, kiddo.
  22. True, true. I think a lotta the guys on here could use both, but The Game would definitely be a better introduction to how it is. Judging from past posts, a lot of guys act like they want to marry the first girl they lay. And I think that would not be good. I also didn't know it was a bestseller until a while after I started reading it, mine's a first edition or something. It still does help, though. I've been thinking that a lotta stuff's probably been taken now since they started publishing, but I've just been using that pre-sliced bread to get comfortable with it. I used to be an AFC, used to get one-itis a lot. But that book probably helped build confidence and break views I had that probably didn't help me with girls. Anyways, I'm looking for Mystery's book now. I'm pretty sure I have it at my house, my dad bought it as an e-book or something. Also, thanks for the advice! It's just a little bit tougher to be a pickup artist when you can't even drive  My brother's just started trying to help me avoid his high-school experience. I kinda have to change stuff up, since, while there are likely girls that would go to the same clubs and be picked up by guys like Mystery or Style here, most of them aren't really even good looking. EDIT: Whoa, I have a folder that my dad gave me a while ago with a whole buncha stuff. A lot of Mystery Method and Juggler e-books or videos or something. I need to look into these. Is Mystery Method that good? Guess that's where I'm going first.
  23. The place Dusty posted earlier has had like three specials on it since I got it a couple months ago. Gamersgate, I think it was called. I'd keep an eye on them. I think there might be one this weekend...
  24. I've never seen a backpack that's interesting to me. I don't even think mine is a brand. It's like Sam's Club. I don't even understand the thing about looking good or being quality. All backpacks are the same. I could use one of those bags from the clothing stores in the mall to better effect than my backpack. In fact, next year I just may do that. Just use three of those bags shaped into my own little backpack. Only it'll be big.

Audie Murphy was pretty badass. But so was Hiroo Onoda. He was a Japanese soldier who didn't surrender until 1974. He lived alone and would kill and steal to survive.
