Try not to get tied down. Have some great adventures. Do any extreme sport that involves flying or falling. Climb an X-treme mountain. Die having sex. Be remembered. Start a world-changing company or idea. Actually write a book that sells some copies.

Tuition here goes up every single year, it really sucks. I might be paying up to a thousand dollars a semester more by the time I'm going unless a bill to freeze tuition for two or three years passes in Texas.

Yeah, that's the great thing. Even if you're not in the top 10%, if you're in the top 50% and you wrote your name on your SAT, you're into any public university here. I think my ranking would be Rice > UT at Dallas (I have a lot of family there, and my parents might be moving there after I graduate because, well, everybody will be in that area. Plus, it's cheaper.) > UT at Austin > University of Houston/A&M > Tech. I just realized we've taken up a lotta room with our Texan higher education talk. Our bad.

Nah, I wouldn't go to A&M. My brother's old friend went there, and he doesn't really like it. Probably because all his friends went to Tech or just not to college, but, hey. :P Although I'll probably apply to all the big 3 public schools in Texas come the time. Even Tech, even though I'd find someplace else if they were the only ones to accept me. I don't like it here, although the Tech pride is pretty nice.

I got like 1:38 with a British guy and two people who never talked on the lighthouse. Pretty fun, but I need to play with some friends or something.

I think it'd be much easier to start the whole class up in song. But it can get very confusing. I have a hard enough time when two people look the same from the back. So I really don't think uniforms are the best choice in school, dawg.

You guys know that it's still her child, right? There's a reason why children with Down Syndrome aren't terminated at pregnancy. Parents do feel a bond with their kids. Starting to think UH isn't my school. The fact that my brother in law's friend got assaulted on-campus (in fact, less than a hundred yards from the campus police station) is playing a part. But the fact that tuition is double someplace like UT is also playing a part. I still have four years, though, and I don't even know what I want to do. I do know UT and UTD have good communications programs. And that I still really like Rice, but it will be hard to get in.
