By better times, I mean before asshats learnt of even 4chan's existence. Before /r9k/, before Mootykins failed to make things better. (Spoilers: /r9k/ was made because of /b/.) Its not about being an "internet tough guy", /b/ used to be about being who we really are, horrible insensitive monsters. That was the whole point of Anonymous. Problem is, one person with similiar values to those who may post here got in. They see something they dont like, post about "OMG 4CHAN IS DISGUSTING" on their website or forum they came from, that forum all go to check out this "disgusting" website, some stay - some leave, those who leave return to whine about it and "Uh, excuse me but you cant do that on the internet". Word spreads, some stay - some leave. Gradually, /b/ gets watered down with an influx of kawaii bishie ^_^ xDDDD asshats. /b/ turns from ARE YOU REX ENOUGH FOR TECH SUPPORT to I GUESS THIS IS WHY THEY CALL THIS PLACE RANDOM XD. Caturday used to be purely a /b/ thing. Every saturday there would be atleast one thread full of caturday or cat related images. Then, word got out. "Hey man, this is pretty funny, lets steal the idea and tell the whole internet!". Sadly, what spawned was not as caturday once was, but instead icanhascheezburger or some crap. Now, they could have just left it; taken the idea and publicised it. Sure, /b/ probably wouldve gotten angry and DDoS'd them, and that might've been the end of it. But some smart person decided to add "Oh yeah, we got this idea from 4chan lol go check it out its an awesome place." And once again, /b/ gets watered down. Now, each time anything with any merit is posted on 4chan its immediately spread and linked back. Threads like this are the cancer that is killing 4chan. Habeeb it. SAGE once more. PROTIP: Sage doesn't work anymore.

You could, you know, go back to the comic you read last. Or if you mean you lost your place, I tend to just bookmark where I'm up to on comic sites. I regularly read 10+ comic sites, so if I don't do that I get lost really easily. I did bookmark it, but I was reading it on my PSP and for some reason my PSP's bookmarks got deleted and now they don't work. :?

With this logic: - There should be some kind of a higher power that can decide what's best for us and decided that cows are there for purely our food. As an atheist I don't believe in this kind of statement. - We wouldn't have any ethical or moral problems in eating them. If that was the very truth, we wouldn't even have this discussion. - Cow meat should have advantages when compared to other foods. Are pigs, bears or reindeers for example put here for other reasons? What about dogs or cats? Are they here for other reasons and how do you justify the reason of having certain animals on this planet? Well I am agnostic, therefore I believe someone put them on the Earth for us to eat. People do eat dogs in the East, and pigs are eaten too, the animals that are eaten are the animals that provide the best nourishment and the ones that can't offer any/little resistance; the ones that were put here in order to provide us with food. Also, without eating meat you miss out on a lot of protein among other things, these animals are provided as an easy way to get these foods. Cavemen used to eat Mammoths and things, as it was one of the best things for them to eat and one of the easiest things, they were put there to be eaten. Carnivorous animals are eaten by other animals, as they are the best thing there for them to eat, this further proves my point that animals are made to be eaten.

Well after 4chan went down for a while when it came back I started visiting /r9k/ and tbh it's much better than the crap on /b/. /b/ is just of a bunch of e-hard teenagers and people who think they're so great because they're desensitized by gore etc, when irl they're just sad nerds. /r9k/ however is a lot better, because they don't act like they're amazingly tough and they actually hold intelligent conversations...

I dress emo and yeah sometimes I get funny looks and people shouting 'Emo de mierda' which in spanish is like Emo of [cabbage] lol. (I live in Spain) Kinda lame but I deal with it.
