OOC? Lol. That sucks. They were considering doing a jaw realignment thing where they'd break my jaw then screw it back together, but I decided to get braces instead.

appeasement updates?
It can't have been an appeasement update. It just came at the time that makes it look that way. Why? Because Jagex stated that they had been working on this graphics for 'several years'. That implies a lot more work than could have been done in six months, that's for damn sure.

Do we need more "Ultimate" weapons?
I think that, while it would be fun, it is totally unnecessary. Maybe a level 95 attack requirement or something, but then it's totally screwed over either way you turn - either it kills people in two hits pretty much automatically, or it's not powerful enough to merit the high attack requirement. I wouldn't mind making godswords 80 or even 90 attack requirement to wield and filling the gap between whips and godswords with some other intermediate weapon. If they're going to make more weapons, they shouldn't be more powerful than the godsword - if you're lucky you can two-hit someone that eats a shark with a godsword. Nothing more powerful than that could even be remotely balanced. That said, I think there needs to be better ultimate weapons for the other attack styles. Sure, ranged has its dark bow, but that's pretty much equivalent to a whip, is it not? Maybe a godbow and a godstaff would be useful. Although that would suck if they were named that, because those are pretty stupid names. But anyways- maybe a higher-powered spell for mage, although it would be hard to equate that to godswords, because you need to get a godsword as a drop, whereas a spell is always available. Perhaps you need the 'godstaff' to cast such a spell. For ranged, I don't know where you could go. Maybe you could give higher hits, but what arrows would you use? There are many problems to making a ranged ultimate weapon, and I don't know enough about it to give a good opinion on it.

CANNONS!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm pretty sure he's supposed to be ranting about how fire giants hit him for 30s. That might have been a misunderstanding, though.

Adventure Quest (fully Flash-animated RPG)
Urgh. I played AQ for a while, but I really never liked it. It was one of my least favourite games of all time.It might be good for a flash-animated RPG, but I hated the turn-based action and the just generally crappy combat.

N - the hardest, most addictive Flash game you'll ever play.
Lol, post me some. I love user levels =) I'll play them through and give you some feedback.

Favourite examine info?
Why, exactly, is this in the Debate Club? There's absolutely no discussion value to this whatsoever...

N - the hardest, most addictive Flash game you'll ever play.
Though N does have its share of those too. No, honestly, that's a really easy game. It's so simple once you get the hang of it...

Recommend an artist/band to the poster above you
Powman, I'll post you two that you've probably already heard of, but hopefully one will be new to you. Dream Theater and Nightwish. My two favourite metal bands at the moment. If you've already heard of them, try out Between The Buried And Me. Intriguing suggested them to me earlier this page. They're great from what I've heard.

N - the hardest, most addictive Flash game you'll ever play.
Got to level 5 in like 10 minutes, not too hard. I beat that game in, like, three hours of school time, which included doing small amounts of work. It's frickin' easy compared to either N or IWBTG.

Headed off to work as a camp counselor for three weeks, then for two weeks camping with the family in Grande Cache (I don't know where it is ether). The camp bit should be fun, but being stuck in a sixteen-foot box with three family members kinda sucks.

Hah. Dragoon, I think that's my old Windows Messenger account along with my Windows Live account. I'll add you both later. Archi, that sucks that you're leaving, but at least it's only for four days. I've got worse news for you all... I'm leaving for FIVE WEEKS this coming Friday, with no computer access AT ALL. I give any and all of you full control of Xaos while I'm away. I'll see you guys then... Hopefully the Times article will be up by then, I want to see that.

Recommend an artist/band to the poster above you
Hey, Intriguing, those guys are great. Thank you so much, I'll have to see if I can pick up Colors next time I'm 'round a CD store. I'm trying desperately to think of something to recommend to you... Alright, here's something good. They're a little dark for me, but I absolutely love this song by them: .

Flight of the Conchords
Hehe. I work at a summer camp as a counselor, and for our staff training talent show (we run the camp the same way we run it when there are kids there) two counselors played Jenny. It was fantastic, especially considering they're both male. I loved every bit of it.

What would be the best band?
Ahh, I see. Well, it all makes sense now. But honestly, I've never understood the people who say Anette is better, I mean, songs like Wish I Had An Angel and Over The Hills And Far Away couldn't have happened without Tarja, and they're so beautiful with her it's amazing.

Free to Play?? or Watch Ads to Play??
Absolutely agreed, Shiv. If you're going to play a game that costs you nothing, and then complain about how it's not up to your standards, well, tough turds for you, little darlin'. The only way you'll be able to play the game is to keep the ads there. Would you rather they took them away? Then we could have a members-only game, and Jagex would likely go out of business after getting no new members for eighteen months, and we could trace it all back to the ads. If they bother you so much, don't play. Jagex won't miss your nonexistent money, but they would miss the ad revenue. EDIT: TeamBloody, it's obviously free. Watching ads costs you nothing. Hence - and here's the rub - even if it's WatchAds2Play, it's STILL FREE. There's absolutely no difference between the two.

What would be the best band?
Well. I can't believe you, Dragoon, you chose Anette over Tarja? You disgust me. I'm going to have to give this one some thought. For the best players of each instrument, we'll go with: DRUMS: Neil Peart of Rush. He's just frickin' godly. BASS: Geddy Lee, also of Rush. (You can tell I'm a fan by now, right?) KEYBOARDS: Urgh. I can't think of very many keyboardists that have distinguished themselves in my mind, and I'm almost tempted to say Billy Joel, but he only plays classical piano, lol. Anyways, I'll go with Jordan Rudess of Dream Theater. GUITAR: I'm so unsure for this one. I'm tempted to say Alex Lifeson just because he's awesome, but I'm not sure because I think I'm biased due to my fandom of Rush... After serious debate, I will add Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits, because the man's an absolute genius on guitars of all sorts, and makes me melt when I listen. VOCALS: Tarja Turunen, formerly of Nightwish. She murders Anette in every sense of the word besides the literal. But if they had to be a band together? Let's be honest, Tarja would not click with any of Rush's musical styles, and Jordan Rudess is the only one who'd fit with her. So for a band, I'd say... DRUMS: Neil Peart of Rush again. I can't help it, he's the greatest drummer in the world. BASS: Geddy just wouldn't fit with the rest of the band I'm building. I'll go with John Myung of Dream Theater. KEYBOARDS: Jordan Rudess of Dream Theater again. He's the only keyboardist I really pay that much attention to. GUITARS: Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters. He just clicks with the rest so well. VOCALS: Tarja Turunen of Nightwish. The operatic style and the power and presence of her voice really meshes with the other band members. There's my ideal band. It'd be absolutely epic.

Smi, open your eyes - the topic is full of people like you. This topic is built for people who feel exactly the same way you do. Sad is not a word we use to describe ourselves. Enlightened, maybe.

Quickest way to make money with....
Lol. I'm in the same boat as you economy-wise, I left just as the runecrafting market started to crash brutally in the aftermath of the free-trade stuff. It murdered runecrafters ess-wise, because we have no bots to buy from any more.

Haha. As a matter of fact, I do like Genesis a fair bit, though I've only heard one album the one my parents have and have never listened to). They're pretty good. I'll listen to them a bit more, maybe buy an album. Thanks for making me think about them again. Definitely have a gander at Dream Theater, they're absolutely fantastic prog-metal. The only band I know that comes close to Rush's musical and compositional skill, and they're metal. It's loads of fun. I'd suggest going to YouTube and checking out . Nine minutes of epic brilliance, and Part II is just as good, but longer. Have fun.

City Life
I like it. Just a piece of descriptive writing. It's very well done, great metaphors in there. It really evokes the image well. A fine piece of writing. I prefer the paragraph approach myself, I've always hated free verse. It seems stupid.

590 Tiaras, now what? And nat crafting good money?
Nats are still awesome money, despite naysayers to the contrary. And if you use pouches, you can bring that number of gold per trip up by a solid amount. The tiaras are going to be hell to sell - I'd advise just using runes, but if you don't want to, that's your choice. I know the temptation's been there for me too. And anyways, Runecrafting is fun as well. It requires a little bit of thought instead of just mindlessness if you use the Abyss, and it's exciting to get revenant'd every once in a while. With a Ring of Life you rarely die, but it's still a little adrenaline jolt.

Quickest way to make money with....
Nats are actually around 275 each, wavering between 260 and 310 pretty much constantly. Ess is 120 each at the max, dipping to 90 at the best of times. However, they're still about 400K/hour profit. Absolutely agreed about the laws, they're tougher to sell, because natures are always in demand. People can get laws from FFL. EDIT: Ugh, 245? That's rock bottom. It's still a preferred profit method though.
