  1. Okay. Is it very much faster than the Abyss?
  2. I've been an avid runecrafter for a while, but it's recently come to my attention that there's a way to use spirit graahks to aid your nature crafting. Would anyone mind explaining how to do it?
  3. Sweet. I wanna be on =) Klan Kaos: P2P
  4. YES! Amazing idea. I am TOTALLY in. We're all writers here - it comes with the job. So we could make a SWEET article come out of the combined creativity. However, the style is the only issue (as you've all said). I don't think a quiz is the best idea, as it doesn't seem much like an article. However, a short interview with a few of the more prominent RPers in the forum, such as Hawkxs, Archimage, myself, Langzor, and Dragoonson (note that these are named off the top of my head - if I forgot you don't get mad at me :? ) would be fantastic, as it gives us a chance to talk about what the Falador Library really is to us with another person, rather than a static set of quiz questions. Replying to what you would do in [situation X] isn't too good either, because it seems too much like an RP rather than an article for the Times. Archi gave us a good idea, but the problem is that that's written from only one point of view, and we want it to be a roleplaying community thing, right? So I'm thinking a short interview, with not set questions (different set for each person) would be fantastic. Obviously either Hawks or Archi is going to be the interviewer, so if we happen to use the names suggested, I think that four interviews would probably be sufficient. And I think that those five are some of the best RPers in the Library (yes, I have very little modesty, but I actually believe it to be true) along with being the first five to post in it (besides Xecer, who I have yet to see). There's my plan.
  5. Mine coal in the mining guild. With your stats, it's the best option, and slayer will take you longer to train up to a level where you make a solid profit. Honestly, I rarely make a good profit at 60 slayer. Mining, however, will always stay solid - people need coal, and you can get it easy from the guild.
  6. I gotta say, I've always been a nature crafter. I think since 48 I've only ever crafted natures. But it's not the best method. ZMI wins hands-down for experience. No doubt about that. If you don't like that, then go through the abyss. Deaths are likely the best option, at higher price and XP than laws. If you can't craft deaths, then go for laws or natures - they're about even in price right now, I think. If you want to be really intense, go for natures, because the better you have your route to the altar down by the time you hit 91, the more money you'll make faster.
  7. As Sumpta said, it's confirmed at anywhere between 1/400-1/500. That's been studied SO many times its unbelievable. Kinda sucks that you only got one whip... but hey, I don't even have 85 slayer yet. Count yourself lucky.
  8. Aww, Matt, even though I've seen it before that's still a lovely story

Ahaha. I have actually been asked, once telling people that I live in Canada, what happens to my igloo in the summer. Also, I've been asked (NOT by the same people) whether I have troubles with polar bears. No joke.
  10. But what about the proposed 'mature forum' that has no limits? Wouldn't that be the point of said forum? And, of course, like Lionheart said, that kind of thing would end up being like Darkwebz, where people are mature enough to handle themselves without necessitating too much structure.
  11. Whoops. Bugger. Emmett steadied himself, a little tipsy on his feet after the disorientation of the quick teleport. 'Hello, everybody,' he said, glancing around the room. 'Zerg is where he belongs, and we've been sent to assist you with your mission. Anyone want to give us a small debriefing on where we're headed?'
  12. Lol. Another new admin? Were the old ones not good enough or something? Congratulations Peter, hope you make it as good as Turtle says you're gonna.

Wasn't Project OT supposed to clean up bad threads like this?... However, as it has evolved into a suitable discussion, I'll just add that I really have never been a fan of any kind of wrestling/fighting. I like sports that take team skill and more than just brute force. Even football's okay, but I'm a hockey player/soccer player at heart.
  14. Ahh, Matt, just tell us anyways, for the sake of those who don't know. It is a good story.
  15. Urgh. Tried playing it, and it doesn't sound like anything I know. I'll keep trying though. Admittedly, I'm more of a plain metal fan, not much into black metal, but I might know it.
  16. 'Bluejay, I would like to aid the alpha team in finding this person of magic. I'll go with them.' He waited patiently for Bluejay's response and a synopsis of the situation with Alpha, and hopefully a teleport in.
  17. It's just 16th-note fast picking? I'll have a go at it, see if I can recognize it.
  18. Well, if the people that were being talked about couldn't see it, then what would be the problem?

Was there? I don't remember that one. I'd like to see it... When did it happen in the comic? Obviously earlier on, before Ash started to get comfortable with her female body...
  20. [/sarcasm] Eurgh. Dragonforce. Bad recordings layered atop one another to sound okay, really horrible to hear live. The other bands sound like fun, though.
  21. Emmett snuffed out his ball of kerosene with a flick of his wrist, causing a small puff of smoke. He looked towards the entrance of the castle and saw the hordes rushing around near the spot where the group had disappeared, and thought it prudent to shut them. He cast a minor wind spell, causing the doors to shut seemingly of their own accord. He then turned to see three dark-clothed men walking towards them. 'We'll take him from here,' one said, with a nod towards Zerg. 'Your mission here is complete, and you have done well.' The three then grasped Zerg's arms and led him off deeper into the castle. The world whited out... and the Lost Library came once more into view.

I think no way is Chris ever going to let us see what Ash looks like male. But you're right - it's addictive, and he's a master at making it so. It's impossible to stop reading!
  23. Find the image and reupload it. Or use an image hosting site such as Imageshack or Tinypic to upload it, then put the image URL in tags.

Yeah, agreed. Some pages are good, but some are only one or two frames, and I end up going, 'Was that it?' Another one I read that's better for that kind of thing is Looking For Group, but it only comes out twice a week. I'll stick with Misfile for now - I can't wait to see what happens when Rumi confronts Vash.
  25. I don't own a TV with a cable or satellite hooked up to it, but I did just watch the final episode of Coupling online. Amazingly funny show for the more intelligent of humor aficionados.
