  1. Although he's gone very soon, George Bush was the biggest terrorist of the war on terror, bringing terror and fear to the people of Iraq while forcing democracy upon them. A relatively famous quote I've heard before What it's supposed to mean is, When a country launches an invasion upon another and kills civilians in the process, it's an act of "war", yet when a group of militants kill the opposing attackers it is branded "terrorism". I'll agree with you completely when you say anyone who doesn't agree with American policy and is willing to be violent about is branded a "terrorist". Read the story of Mozzam Begg called "Enemy Combatant", a story of a man who attended a guerrilla training camp as a teen, funded one indirectly through an accident years later and then was jailed in various American "prison" camps such as Guantanamo bay, without trial for 4 years. The American policy based around Guantanamo bay seems to be that of internment, which basically defys many basic human rights to the very core. As far as I'm concerned, the way the American foreign policy acts is that of a coward and a bully quite often.
  2. Well u just answered ur own thing just there, if ur in a hardcore raiding guild and u find it unfair that people who hardcore get more DKP, hence more loot and you dont hardcore... then why wud u need loot more than them think about it as a guild, are peopl going to want to give amazing loot to people who they cant trust to be hardcore (remmber im talking at hardcore standard here 7/7 raiding) The server I play on is still only 2 and a half months old and we're doing pretty [cabbage] guilds wise. There's 3 good raiding guilds, 2 of which are core and the other just has enough 80's. It's either hardcore with DKP system or nothing if you want to do end-game stuff and I, like many don't have the time to be on 5 nights a week for 5 hours.
  3. Damn, you must have a pretty uptight principal if that's your "worst" class ever to be in the school :| We had a sub before, there was a broken 3 legged chair in the back so we put it at the teachers desk. He sat on it, fell over and fractured his leg......... Had a extremely religious sub teacher so we put a really small speaker for a mic behind a picture of jesus above the board, then using a mic started speaking the woman as if it was Jesus. Freaked her out pretty badly. When playing kickball in PE with a sub we kept hammering the ball towards the sub, hit him a couple of times. Someone burst his nose with a shot. Played bulldogs charge in class when we had this well known weirdo of a sub, everyone was jumping across desks, going under desks, flipping them and all kinds of stuff just to get by. Ye, subs get a lot of abuse in my school. Edit: Pureprayer, stop being an [wagon]. I had a science teacher exactly like that guy, he couldn't come to class one day because the lift was broken and he's so unfit he can't climb 4 flights of stairs.
  4. What goes around comes around :) EDIT: O/T but Kingofthecav I swear you used to be a pro w22 staker back in the day o.O Gilded + Firecape amirite? Pretty pathetic reason to hold a grudge, you quite obviously can't take negative criticism. On-Topic: Per usual Bouwz, 9/10  Show me that bank pic and it might go up by 1 :
  5. I don't like the DKP system really, seems unfair on those who don't have the time to commit to a hardcore raiding guild :?
  6. It's when I see videos like that, it always makes me say "Damn, I play the same game as those people" :| It's a game, not a lifestlye...........
  7. In Ireland we've a pretty good system which is running well. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays are all normal days, usually 8.45 till 3.30 but on Wednesdays it runs from 8.45 till 1.05 which always provides a nice break and something to look forward to. Strangely enough, I'd prefer the 5 day system with 1-2 shorter days than 4 day system. I don't like being in school but I know how much I'll need all the classes for my wanted course at University level.

What about rape? Necrophilia? Incest? While I'll agree that sex isn't a bad thing in general, I still think there are ways it can be bad. Well, by sex in the title I assumed we were talking about 2 people consenting and societies closed morals to it, not incest or rape. Obviously rape, incest and necrophilia is bad, that goes without saying.

It's fun, one of the most powerful natural stress relievers and is an incredibly good workout. In no way is it bad 8-)
  10. No matter how precise Israel's missiles are, no matter if they're state of the art they're Will be civilian casualties as they're bombing an heavily populated with poor housing conditions, meaning they're bombing in high density areas against low quality structures. Even if they precisely aim for a "suspected" Hamas stronghold / point it is incredibly easy for a piece of bomb shrapnel or debris from the targeted building to cause damage to neighboring buildings and it's occupants. Palestinian citizens are afraid to leave their homes due to the ground invasion and bombardment of Israeli airstrikes. Israel may be doing the best they can do cause as few civilian fatalities as possible, which I'm quite wary on still. But at the end of the day Israel full well knows it's killing innocent men, woman and children. Amazing to think as well Israeli airstrikes have killed more Palestinian citizens within the first few days of it than Hamas rockets did in the months leading up to it.
  11. About time you got 75 RC  Well done Saru, 8/10.
  12. If you use Al-Jazeera as your news source, your a [bleep] dunce who shouldn't be allowed a view on the situation. Ignorance is bliss. You don't even know what you're talking about do you? No you're right, I have no idea, i've been spouting made up nonsensical crap since page one where I first started posting on this topic  Most news sources are bias in some way or the other, but Al Jazeera takes it to another level of bias. A documentary I once saw on Al Jazeera was on the old town of Jaffa just outside Tel-Aviv (Which I've visited) their exact phrasing on the town- "The Zionists have tried eradicating all of the towns history.." #-o Suppose then the many rewards they've been awarded for biasless reports and not censoring every little disturbing scene then are redundant? Or the fact that as Blue said 1/6 of the world relies on them for daily news, similarly on-par or greater than many stations such as Sky News, ITV, CNN etc. Every News station will have the odd bias report / documentary produced, it will eventually happen. Does the fact that I've seen 2 completely biased towards the British documentary's based on the Northern Irish paramilitaries make it an unreliable source?
  13. When it's 3-3 on a really good game of HC SnD on CoD4, then some [bleep] pulls out an RPG just as you spawn killing your entire team losing you the game. Or when you're either planting or defusing the bomb on HC SnD, then some [bleep] teamkills you to get the extra 50 exp.
  14. Any words used to describe a race / religion / country in a negative light when not needed. It doesn't matter whether it was a Black, Muslim, Iraqi or any negatively portrayed group of people who performed the act in many cases, what only matters is what has been done about the act. Seems the news only cares for negatively portraying minorities.

  16. My English teacher is bringing my class to Prague for 5 days, and we're allowed do whatever is legal there. So basically it's going to be a massive piss-up, strip clubs, nightclubs and pubs trip. Me and my friends are going camping at Ireland's biggest music festival, probably top 3 biggest in Europe, definitely top 5. It's going to be amazing, 5 days 4 nights of drink, recreational drugs and some of the best bands out there. Other than that, nothing I know of, there is talk of going to Wales for an overnight, basically hop on any Ferry going to Wales and see what happens. What usually makes for an unplanned and fun trip is to go to your nearest bus terminus with tent, sleeping bag and a [cabbage] load of drink / money. Hop on the first bus you see listed heading towards either a beach, big forest or mountains and go there for a couple of nights. Last time we did it we ended up on the south west coast of Ireland, and it was [bleep]ing amazing! Unplanned trips are always great.
  17. Might think it's weird, but IMO (being a smoker) it's much easier being with a girl who is a smoker, no going outside on your own for a smoke, not slying around to have a smoke. It's much easier to have someone to smoke with than having to do it on your own, most likely to their own disapproval of it. Also, not in a stereotypical fashion, but most of my friends who are girls who smoke tend to be "easier", seems to be they're just slightly more up for stuff.
  18. Yes. Let's just let the Hamas men peacefully walk out. NO, let's just keep the Palestinian citizens barricaded within a very small area so they can be bombed, a warning does no good within such a small area. It's like the Omagh bombings by the IRA. One will go off on one side, they'll run the other side and bunch. Eventually the other side will be bombed where they're bunched together and they'll most likely be injured or killed. The Omagh bombings had warnings provided, they ran before the bomb (warnings were provided which were slightly wrong), the bomb then killed 29 people as they bunched within the area around the bomb. Warnings simply aren't enough within such a small area. Ginger will know what I'm talking about most likely.
  19. Let her smoke, you'll piss her off more giving the age old facts that everyone knows than pleases her. Voice your concern, just don't start saying "oh it's bad for you", everyone knows that. Nothing pisses me off more than when someone starts ranting on about the negative effects to smoking, how I'm doing myself no good with it etc. I already know all the facts, now let me enjoy the smoke for Christ's sake. Would you like me to give out to you every time you visit a fast food restaurant about the seriously bad quality of food, the negative health effects of it and the general creation of the products? No, you wouldn't at all. As Deloria said, someone going "blah blah smoking bad" to you is like a fundamentalist Christian coming to your home to preach, annoying as [bleep].
  20. Would those basically be like straight pipe exhausts in America? I'd say they're only worthwhile on a muscle car.. No, they're basically aftermarket products added to the end of an exhaust pipe to make it sound like a vibrating drill rolling around a bean can. They don't sound good at all, just sounds like a 50cc moped strapped to the exhaust of your car.
  21. Occasionally you seem to be quite stubborn about your opinion, even when reputable contradicting evidence is presented. Now someone tell me something bad about me, a bit of negativity is always good, it's what makes us change for better.
  22. If Israel is doing nothing "wrong" then why are they banning foreign journalists from Gaza? Any reputable news force will document it unbiasedly, and I for one like many will only listen to a reputable news force. Just out of curiosity, is there any big protests going on in any posters cities in this topic? For the last 2 weekends many Islamic immigrants in Ireland have been holding rallies on Ireland's biggest main street. While walking by today they seemed extremely angry and hyped up about the situation. They were repeatadly shouting "Allah Akbar" over and over with other Islamic chants I didn't recognize. Israel certainly is helping build Hamas propaganda when Muslims are rallying together in favor of Palestine in places as far away (And Islamic minority) as Ireland.
  23. Going on what Ginger says about taste it is true to a certain extent. I'll usually drink twice every weekend, can't other days because of school obviously enough. Both times I drink to get drunk. I wont really care for the taste of my drink aslong as I find it drinkable. I wont touch it if it makes me wretch but if I can comfortably drink it (9/10 times any beer or cider) I'll drink it, good taste costs more but gives more pleasure. If I can afford the better taste I'll go for it, if I can't then I wont. So ye, taste isn't quite high on the agenda in Britain and Ireland in most people usually <25, cost and will it get you drunk seems to be what counts.

How a case of self-defense turned into a JLO (Irish version of an ASBO) charge of assault and criminal damage :| Pretty screwed up situation. Hardest choice? Breaking up with my GF with the 50% of then getting with the girl of my dreams, either succeed and be happy for along time or fail and be out of an already very happy relationship.
  25. Bean-can exhausts. Those really loud exhausts you always find on the back of a Chav's little [cabbage]ty car. They don't sound cool, certainly don't look cool and they do nothing worthwhile for your car. Seems like they were made for another way for chavs to piss of the public.
