  1. They deserved what? That pissweak attempt at a funny prank call? Those employees would get dozens of them calls a day and I don't think it's getting any funnier to them. Firstly, sorry it wasn't the best ever, now it's the end of the world correct? I did not plan what I was going to say, they are deserved any kind of prank call they get because I find what they are selling insulting. This is not a thread were you tell people how/why their prank call was horrible. Constructive criticism woudl be fine, so why don't you post a call that you made? I'm actually going to agree with Jem here, first of all it wasn't really funny. They aren't "jerks", they're people out there working to put food on the table and put a roof over their or their family's head. Blame the company, not the lowly salesperson. I doubt you're even old enough to know of the responsibility to have to provide food and shelter or earn your own money for basic needs. You're the true jerk in this situation. [/hide] Oh blah blah save everyone on these forums all that morals crap we're not all the same people we have different personalities. You're E-coolness just improved by 7 with that post :ugeek:
  2. It's that kind of discriminate attitude why I hold a lower opinion of Israel, the Palestinians are people like you and me. Nothing makes them anything less of a person purely because where they're from. You've lowered my opinion now of Israel further, well done.
  3. A loved one dieing when you only find out how much they mean to you beforehand.
  4. Nice character, but if you want better stats then replace all the level <30 gear anyway, even though it's blue anything green 30> will easily out do it for stats. :
  5. This. At least for me, being only 15 years old and not experienced having kids yet. Heheh that's how you're gonna MAKE kids. And then be slapped with a rape charge!
  6. If you knew me you'd know I'd help you and support you in any situation no matter what the circumstances.
  7. Personally, my favorite "idea" of a game if well made, would be a realistic sandbox style civil war / revolutionary / paramilitary type game, something like IRA v British army, Colombian gorillas v Colombian government type thing. I think it would for a much more interesting game and storyline than most shooter games out right now. There's even so many events to build a storyline around it would be easy. Use anything from internment without trial or the Bloody sunday massacre as the start, the cease fire at the end.
  8. Hamas has been doing the exact same, Hamas aren't saints in any light, nor is Israel though. They aren't being oppressed, I certianly don't agree with what Israel is doing but oppression isn't the word to describe it. Read up on Hamas, if anything they've been "oppressing" Israel for the last few years. Ginger, good argument but I doubt he / she will have any understanding of it.
  9. Eating Christmas dinner with 12 homeless people after spending 3 nights sleeping rough including Christmas Eve to raise money for charity. Annual school charity event, we sleep in a designated area on Dublins busiest street, from the 22 till Christmas morning. 8 of us shared Christmas dinner with 12 homeless people, the warmest and most grateful group of people I've come to known once you know them. Just the smiles on there faces as they sat and ate a proper meal for once, was pure joy to see.

  11. Me and my friend called one chinese takeaway, place an order for delivery. Halfway through placing the delivery my friend called another Chinese takeaway, we asked the first one to relay the order to our "friend" (the other chinese restaurant). Spent about 3 minutes rolling on the ground listening to 2 angry chinese screaming at each other until they realised what was going on.
  12. I like any sort of beer as long as it's not equivalent to pisswater. Can't really drink Wine after a bad experience with it, psychologically wretch if I taste it. I can't drink straight spirits over 35% or I tend to throw it back up :| If they're done with the right mixer I can drink them like water though. Favorite spirit drink would be Jaegarbombs, It's a shot of Jaegarmeister and 2 shots of redbull, it's amazing. Ciders are nice but I tend to prefer beers, after the 4th or 5th pint it tastes way to sweet for my liking. Guinness, can't stand the stuff. Absinte......that stuff destroys you if you take more than 2-3 shots straight.
  13. Nah these will be released yearly simply because its easier to keep on top of everything that way and are actualy good games and unlike most series they actually change. Actually change? You're being sarcastic right? It's the same game year in year out with the odd slight change each year with a 60 euro price tag.
  14. Every year you come out with one of these amazing "progress 200X" topics and it makes me sad, cuz my account sucked compared to yours. Anyway, 10/10 Shey, great player and great Clan leaders
  15. Couple of cases of monkey see - monkey do. Saw my dad shaving, saw my uncles shaving etc so thought it was the cool grown up thing to do when I was like 3, imitated it without water or shaving cream, just a sharp, cheap disposable razor. Cut my face to bits, needed to go to hospital and get some stitches. I was pretty intelligent for a 4-5 year old, can't remember which age and remembered how to do certain things quite easily. Remembered from watching my parents how to start a car. Took my moms car keys and started the car, it was left in gear and it jumped forward knocking over a tree and screwing up the bumper. Imitated some "gangsta" movie I saw when I was 5 with the after-school care club thing I went to, there was a group of us walking to the local park with some of the minders. Kicked a police car and spat on the windshield then made the best attempt I could to run  Daycare wasn't to happy with that, neither was my mom, my dad laughed uncontrollably when he heard about it.
  16. Yep, every game shares the exact same cliche you mentioned, lose at first, kick [wagon] superhuman style later on. I'm yet to come across a WW2 game realistically played, I.E not storming the beaches, having a cup of coffee and making it home for dinner. A game with a storyline and realism to something like the movie "Saving Private Ryan" would be good. Vietnam is a pretty underplayed area of war games too IMO, there's only been about 3 or 4 noticeable ones and they weren't even that good. A realistic gorilla warfare sandbox type game I think would make for a great game, something like the Republican paramilitaries in Northern Ireland or the Colombian gorillas. Anyway quick OT, Crash Bandicot (sp?), the WWE / WWF labeled games, the year after year of FIFA / Madden games without noticeable changes and the NFS series.

I'd prefer a society with clothing, but I seem no problem with Nudism if it's what you're into, whether you do it within your own home, publicly allowed places or holidays resorts for it, out in the blatant public I'm a bit touchy on though. It would make a haven for the perverted though
  18. I call it a principle, you know, human compassion and all. I guess that's really what this whole debate boils down to. You either buy into society helping the needy, through actions or taxation, or you don't. I'm all for helping the needy but not in the ways mentioned so far, I'd much rather try to allocate a homeless person a space in rehab and a job prospect where willpower and determination is required to get through than just bail them out with them having nothing to do, no job prospect, no drug replacement as majority of the time they'll relapse. In another thread about communism/socialism, someone brought up the famous proverb - "Give a man a fish, you'll feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, you'll feed him for a lifetime." That's basically what should be applied here - Instead of simply handing out money and giving welfare to the poor and lower classes, teach and help them out of their situation. Now, some money to get them started would probably be helpful, but if you simply throw money at poor people you're not going to get anything done. yes i think marx or engels used that example once too as one of the better parts of socialism/communism since if u teach the man how to fish u lost a costumer while in socialsm u would want to teach the people all how to fish (metaphoricaly of course) That's the complete opposite though in terms of housing the homeless and providing the impoverished with welfare. Housing the homeless you will want to teach them "how to fish" as just giving them "fish" they will in turn only be a liability on society, same can be said for other groups who require welfare. Government's have nothing to gain by constantly throwing welfare to people, they'd gain much more getting them a job through taxation incomes.

  20. thats making it extremly easy for yourself we got constant unemployment in the west there are more people wanting jobs then there are jobs this also have alot to do with it people who grow up on last step of society who are never getting a real chance to education who are constantly told they will end up a drunk loser then they get unemployed being turned down and often humiliated when searching for jobs that they give up and resort too abuse is not 100% their false if u think like that u have a very scary wiew of people probobly based on not knowing these people make sure there are jobs for everyone fight unemployment first afterwards can you complain about people being "lazy" and [cabbage] like that also its a human right to have a place too live.... but maybe human rights doesent matter to you? What is the west? Technically Ireland is "the west", define next time what constitutes the west. It's not a scary view, it's view that those who work hard will receive results. I do know these people, quite likely more than you do yourself. I spend 8 hours each week going around Dublin giving them soup with my school VDP sector.l talk to them constantly, I'm on first name terms with many, I'd consider that knowing them. I know their stories, they know it's often their fault. When you're living in poverty turning to substance abuse is your stupidest of choices, you'll never get out once your some form of addict to a financially draining substance.
  21. That extremely confusing "dark" stage where all I did was listen to heavy rock and mope about the world, finally realised I had a perfect life and copped on. Now I'm pretty unique, I act like some scummy gang member, speak intelligently and dress in a combination of Indie / Prep. Confusing times.
  22. Jet powered pig anyone? Lenin your car wont even compare.
  23. I could accept that if it werent the case that the richest nations on earth, like america and the uk didnt have so many homeless. Really for nations as rich as us getting rid of the homeless problem shou'd be a doddle. The majority homeless (For Ireland anyway) became homeless through their own faults, drug addictions and alcohol abuse. Why should the government bail people out who became homeless through their own faults and will most likely relapse again, it's not fair to the taxpayer.
  24. So innocent civilians can get caught in between and be the majority death cause? Definitely one of your more intelligent posts
