Hm. Forgot about that. Perhaps the point of this beast was that it couldn't be soloed. Perhaps these items are meant to be awarded to groups instead of the greedy few. Ever think of that, Mr. Condescending Player? Of course it's meant to be rewarded to groups. But because of that, all items that enter the game will be converted into coins and placed on the GE, where they only benefit the rich. Basically, my complaint is that it will be impossible to get as an ordinary drop. Also, this area is going to experience absurd overcrowding once more people figure out how to do it.

Honestly, if this beast drops all five items, it would be incredibly stupid. Here's my reasoning: It's impossible to solo this. Therefore, you must use a group. 99% of groups will want coinshare. Therefore all drops will enter the game through the GE, meaning you have to have absurd amounts of money for the new items to have any benefit to you.

I've heard that the monster yells "Can't Touch This" when you die. For anyone who thinks I'm serious: "Here's your Sign"

According to the RSOF, the Spirit Beast becomes a Corporeal Beast (level 785) after you beat the quest, which you can fight in the real world at the cave. It can one hit you (as expected) and armor is not effective against it, so don't bring any.

You need a holy elixir, which is priced at 15m, to bless it and then you can attach relics to it. My gawd.

I really detest Jagex's habit of not releasing spoilers until the second day, especially concerning new items. :wall: It creates rampant speculation and is beyond frustrating.

Area of Effect, AKA ancients.

There are several things I love about this update: 1) Arrows are returned after the match. Now, you can range in ahrims. Previously, you dropped your arrows because Ahrim's top blocked the accumulator. 2) 40+ v 40+ battles with 1k kill count are extremely fun, partially because they are so chaotic. A 20 v 20 battle with 100 kc is more organized but still almost as fun. It actually shows which clan is superior, because of the Law of Averages. You don't have "omfg our best person got koed by a lucky spec" deciding the battle. Another thing about this feature that I love is that it actually gives the underdogs a fighting chance. Previously, a 10-20 person team would obliterate a 5 person team. Now, you actually have a chance to win with a small team, because most people are disorganized, allowing you to rack up a high kill count with AOE spells. There are only a couple things I dislike about the new Clan Wars... The first one is the bubbles that hang around in the screen. I know it's safe, you don't need to constantly remind me after the 90 second wait timer. Also, the "Caller" bubble is distracting. Finally, they need more than just one spawn portal... Once a team pushes up to the spawn portal, they just smash you as soon as you spawn in the game. They need to make it where there are three or four different portals on your side that you randomly come out of, in order to make it more difficult to "spawn camp." Overall, I love the changes.

I detest merchants, for this reason. They screw the average person but benefit themselves, much like the robber barons of the Gilded Age of America. I wish Jagex had a way to identify them and ban them. It'd be healthy for the economy, as it'd remove vast amounts of money from the game, along with greedy money-mongering bastards. But Jagex has some misguided notion that merchants actually HELP the economy. :roll:

i know who the hell would risk thier items for nothing in return. I highly doubt people will be using this option You're ignorant if you think that. Pkers have asked for this specifically before. They want risk, even without losing. After all, Pking isn't about gaining new equipment. It's about making other people lose theirs. Which is PRECISELY why this is asinine. The majority of people won't want to use this option, as there is no reward for the risk, but some PKers will try to "rule-switch" and con unsuspecting players into fighting "dangerously." Yea, I know some asshat is going to say "dats der falt cuz dey dont reed da rulez!!!11" but that still doesn't make it right. It's the same principle as blaming the victims back when luring existed.

The Distractions thing looks like another mundane, pointless minigame that will be overwhelmingly full the first few days and then totally empty thereafter. Clan Wars looks awesome, and SoS2 looks awesome. Those are the only things that interest me this month.
