Knowing Jagex's track record with slipping in major hidden updates along with large main updates, this is probably permanent. The chin market will crash. This is incredibly lame, because chinning was balanced by the fact that it's pure loss. :thumbdown: :thumbdown: :thumbdown:

D axe was 10m when it first came out. I would hope that the Dragon Pick would enable high-level miners (80+) to one-click coal, similar to iron.

I know what it does, but what I am curious about is can you make it using Skill Assistance? I don't want to waste 300 points learning how to do it if I can't have a friend help me make them, as I am 8 crafting levels too low. Has anybody tested this to prove you can/can't do it?

I just don't get their reasoning with this... They adamantly refuse to bring out quests or equipment with requirements over 80 because "it would only appeal to a small percentage of people." Then, they come out with an entire skill, Summoning, that only appeals to maybe 2% of all RS players. Only those who were good at staking before it was taken away, those who got P hats for cheap a long time ago, or those few really good merchants will be able to get anywhere with this skill. It's ridiculous. For a skill to cost over 200m minimum REGARDLESS and be AS SLOW AS RUNECRAFTING to level is totally asinine, especially for the marginal benefits the skill has to offer. It might be better come February, but currently, there is no incentive to raise it and furthermore, it's not possible for more than 2% of the RS populous to raise it. Seriously, I don't know if acquiring that new CEO from Paypal has anything to do with this, but ever since he came to Jagex, they have released boneheaded update after boneheaded update. Even for Jagex, these updates have had an unprecedented "suck" factor.

If that had been Counterstrike, "Humiliation" would have boomed from a deep voice.

I find it amusing what a joke Jagex has become over the past two years.

What do you expect, when the primary audience of the game is 10 year olds.

Jagex doesn't decide what ads are displayed. I am not sure they even really see know what ads are displayed.

I've been here since 2001, putting up with Jagex's half-baked [cabbage] month after month after month, but I can't turn the other cheek this time. Their lack of effort in correcting the problems in the GE is utterly spellbounding. All the problems that were ranted about ceaselessly two weeks ago still remain. For one, yew Longs are still 708 each, minimum. I am seriously contemplating buying Guild Wars. As far as I am concerned, Jagex has until this Summer to un[beep] things, or else I am gone forever.
