So much money wasted. Apparently, you've never read Qeltar's Barrows guide... Or actually done in-depth research yourself. Dart is the most cost-effect method of barrowing, the safest, and 2nd fastest. The only faster method is using ice barrage, but that is more dangerous and it is vastly more expensive. Burst and Blitz aren't that much faster for the dramatically increased cost, so I do not count them. Using melee on everything is a crapshot and is not nearly as reliable as SD. Sometimes, you will get lucky and hit constant 25+ but other times, you will use up 30 prayer on one Brother. This is coming from someone who has max melee stats and was super potting, too. Slayer Dart is more reliable and cheaper, as you save in the cost of pots.

Gold Bracelets. Buy the gold bars and make them yourself. You get loads of crafting exp and you only lose around 115 each.

They should always drop either rune items or a dragon dagger and have the ability to drop multiple Mystic pieces. They aren't that common to see, so it is not unrealistic for them to drop items that a PKer would commonly wield.

Rune Armor looked way cooler in RSC. It lost its luster when it came to RS2. Also, dueling anywhere was great and it took skill to PK, rather than just lucky specials.

Revenants will never equal players, simply because they can't "spec you out." The threat of being hit for over 60 damage in one turn by another player is what made players the "most dangerous game."

Zammy Godswords are going for 37.5 on the GE, but the street price in w2 is 41m at lowest. I hope they fix that before they make everyone have to use the GE.

Range is more popular now, due to the availibility of resources at lower prices and that Range actually competes against Melee. A tank ranger in torags with a rune crossbow and diamond bolts/dark bow spec will often beat a meleer who uses a whip.

Speaking of problems with the GE, last I checked, Zamorak Godswords are going for around 38m in the GE. In world 2, they are going for 41-43m... Big difference. I am not sure about the other godswords, though.

I remember picking bananas for Lanthas for three hours to get enough gp to buy an addy battleaxe from the shop. And I thought I was god after I did it, too.

God Wars... It was one of the two truly high-level updates the whole year. The other was the Barbarian Dungeon, which paled in terms of usefulness and enjoyability. Mithril Dragons are not worth the effort to kill, and the Dragon Full Helm is useless garbage. It looks awesome, but I'd rather use that 50m on a Godsword. I do not consider Dragonfire Shields as a high-level update, because anybody can receive them as a drop. It doesn't take a high level to kill metal (iron/steel) dragons... In order to slay a God Wars boss or do Mith Dragons, you have to be a relatively high level. Granted, it is possible to do Miths at a lower level but you'll end up with one kill a trip.

I once took an hour out of my life to sift through the High Scores and jot down a list of characters with gibberish names and only one ranked skill in the top 500 fishing/woodcutting. I then sent a query, asking why if their system is so advanced, are these people with over 15 million botted experience not banned. I received an auto-reply that explained how to appeal a ban. Well, the two things that get me are lootshare and no compensation for veterans, as you said. I spoke with a J mod, and he honestly believes the Lootshare system is good. He expects a team of five people to do over 500 runs in order for everyone to get a hilt, regardless of the fact that one of the five has gotten six hilts and another member has gotten three. Apparently, Jagex also expects people to be coordinated enough to all wear the same team cape in Clan Wars in addition to sacrificing sizable defense and offensive stats to wear it. It wouldn't take much effort to make the icon for teammates on the minimap orange -.- Jagex has serious issues with logic. Also, they do have something in mind for veteran compensation but it's not enough. "At the high end of QP, you can trade up to 10x the limit of 3k." Whoodie frickin' do. 30k. That's still pathetic; 100k would be a good amount; it would allow people who've invested the effort to give away their excess (i.e. iron or trout) and give small gifts to friends. Also, most street prices vary between 50-100k (i.e. people buy stuff and sell for 50k more than they paid, or vice versa), so it would allow for some leeway while trading. And for anybody who believes that 100k would benefit RWTs, you are wrong. Even selling it at $1 per 100k, that would take five sales to equal one month's membership. With all the requirements for quests, it would take at least three months to get those requirements, and another three months to do all the quests (especially for someone not well-versed in English, like the average Chinese sweatshop worker.) It's simply not worth the effort for them, in comparison with what they can make off other games, which is the point.

I think they should have made it 1k per three quest points. This would mean at the current max QP, you could trade an 83k difference, and as more quests came out, the cap would gradually rise.

I agree, it's irritating. It's especially irritating when you get someone who has a full inventory of super energy pots with the sole intent of running around to piss people off. They either need to make an arrow that appears and directs you to your opponent when only one person is left, or they need to make a spell that teleports you next to a random enemy. The best advice I can give is to bring Ice Spells.
