  1. He could still attempt to get your account banned.
  2. Ditto. I am scanning my computer right now.
  3. There are currently a lot of people playing because it's new. In a couple weeks, it will be deserted like the vast majority of other minigames.
  4. According to a friend who has the morphing tool, the axe and pick are roughly the same as bronze tools. EPIC FAIL!
  5. Like 99% of all other minigames, this one had tremendous potential but failed on implementing. WTG Jagex :x Skillers get no exp, the game is combat-oriented, and all rewards suck balls. EPIC FAIL!
  6. I think this belongs in Questionnaires. Anyway, the most people are probably killed at God Wars.
  7. I just realized that this is in the wrong forum. Could a mod please move it to Help and Advice? :?
  8. This is far and away the best shield for Mages, but is it worth its hefty price tag of 67.1m? This would would make a mage extremely formidable in Castle Wars or Clan Wars, and PKing if you risk it. It gives +28 mage attack over a rune kite, +30 mage attack over a DFS, and +23 over a rune defender. I am considering buying one, but I can't decide if it is worth paying that much. I'd appreciate some input.
  9. The whole "exclusive PvP item" concept was inherently flawed to begin with, in both Members and F2P. The PvP World items in members are all junk, with the exception of Vesta's Longsword and Morrigan's Javs. All the armor (ALL OF IT) is garbage because of how flawed the defense system is. Armor reduces the probability of your opponent hitting you, but doesn't reduce damage at all. The +20-40 defense and +3-5 strength over the course of ONE HOUR that Statius/Vesta armor offers over barrows is not worth 10m. If the items were able to be repaired for a high price (something like 2m for a weapon, 1m for a plate, 500k for legs, 250k for a helm) instead of disintegrating, then they would have been worth their high pricetags. The same concept applies to the f2p dragon items. They are all overpowered for the amount that you can heal in f2p, but they only last for 30 minutes and cost 200-300k, which negates the advantages they give. The idea of giving overpowered items that only last a short time was good on paper, but it fails in application, due to the randomness of the drop system. Paying 10m for a big advantage would have been worth it if there was a guarantee that you would get over 1m worth of gear from killing someone with several mil worth of gear on them... But because of the RWT threat, that can't happen, thus making these items so expensive yet irreparable was a stupid decision.
  10. Fortunately, the DDS is really inaccurate. Unfortunately, the AGS is cheap enough that the "middle-class" player can afford one... So many players 1 item with Armadyl Godswords now, which are FAR more accurate and lethal than a DDS. The biggest thing that bothers me about f2p PKing is that there is no Tele-Block. Otherwise, it's far superior to P2P PKing as far as fun factor. Although PKing in P2P is more profitable in general than F2P, I equate it to gambling in a casino. Most people lose more than they gain, due to the randomness of both the combat system and the drop system. You have to both get lucky with your hits/specials AND get lucky with the drop system in order to turn a profit. At least, in F2p, one of those variables is eliminated. Due to the absurdly strong weapons in P2P and the presence of special attacks, there is really no skill involved in winning a DM. All it comes down to is who chains a series of 35+ hits and follows it up with a good special. It's ALL luck. In F2p, the winner (assuming neither person teleports) will more likely be the one with better stats.
  11. When I am bored, I withdraw all my most expensive gear, go into the GE, and drop a bunch of nitroglycerin potions. XD I always get back to it in time.
  12. LOL. I've had that happen before and nearly died from it. :?
  13. Yup. Obama demanded animal masks to fall in price. He was 1M short on a cat mask. Guess the small donors ran out :P
  14. no, but alot of people want it. It'd break the game. If you were about to die, you could just have a friend kill you and respawn with all your items.
  15. Overview: This is a SAFE minigame that features five rounds of combat against randomly generated NPCs, often with three or four monsters attacking you at once. By winning, you receive points which you can redeem for some fantastic new equipment, as well as three new level 99 spells. Getting started: The Battle Arena is located underneath the GE, accessible through a ladder. There are several wandering bankers in the area, in addition to the usher. Speak to the usher to begin a tournament. To cash in your points, you right-click the usher and select Spend Points. The gauntlet: In rounds one through four, you may face off against just about any monster in the game, often with several foes at once. The monsters you have to fight are randomly chosen from the list below. The first four rounds are consecutive, meaning that you do not have a chance to bank to replenish your supplies. However, after completion of the fourth round, you DO get a chance to restock in preparation for the final round. The fifth round features a fight against one of the well-known bosses of RS: kalphite queen, any of the DKs, the KBD, or any of the GWD bosses. To complicate things, each round you will be penalized by having a certain ability removed for the remainder of the gauntlet. It IS possible for the wheel to choose not to penalize you. Note that if you die, you are awarded points for the rounds you completed, but not the current one in which you died. The penalty system acts as a multiplier for points, thus the harsher the penalty, the greater amount of points you will win. Breakdown of each round: Rounds one and two: 1x Ice Giant, 3x Ice Warriors 1x Troll, 2x Thrower Trolls 3x Paladins 4x Bloodvelds 2x Green Dragons 1x Greater Demon, 2x Lesser demons 1x Kalphite Guardian, 2x Kalphite Soldiers 2x Dagannoth (level 92), 3x Dagannoth (level 74) 1x Ork, 3x Hobgoblins 1x Scabaras Mage (level 98), 2x Scabaras Lancers Round three: 2x Waterfiends 1x Ice Queen, 4x Ice Warriors 2x Saradomin Wizards 3x Dagannoth (level 90), 2x Dagganoth (level 88) 1x TzHaar-Ket, 1x Yt-Mejkot 1x Tok-Xil, 2x TzHaar-Hur 1x Black Demon, 3x Greater Demons 1x Aviansie (level 131), 1x Spiritual Mage (Armadyl) Round four: 1x Karil the Tainted, 1x Guthan the Infested 1x Torag the Corrupted, 1x Ahrim the Blighted 1x Dharok the Wretched, 1x Verac the Defiled 1x Jungle Demon, 2x Black Demons 1x Mithril Dragon 2x Skeletal Wyverns 1x Ket-Zek, 1x TzHaar-Ket 1x Dark Beast, 2x Abyssal Demons Round five: 1x Dagannoth Rex, 3x Spinolyps 1x Dagganoth Prime, 3x Spinolyps 1x Dagganoth Supreme, 3x Spinolyps 1x Kalphite Queen, 3x Kalphite Soldiers 1x King Black Dragon, 4x Baby Black Dragons 1x General Graardor 1x Commander Zilyana 1x K'ril Tsutsaroth 1x Kree Arra The Penalty Wheel: Here is a list of the penalties that you may be inflicted with and their multipliers: -Minor poison (4 dmg) +1.5x -Moderate poison (6 dmg) +2x -Lethal poison (12 dmg) +4x -Disease +1.5x -minus 50% melee damage +4x -minus 50% magic damage +2.5x -minus 50% ranged damage +3x -Frozen (cannot move) +5x -No special attacks +4x -Prayer reduc (prayers are half effective) +4x -No eating +10x -No prayers +10x -No melee attacks +8x -No magic attacks +5x -No ranged attacks +6x -No potions +6x -No penalty +1x Point System: Round one completed: 50 points Round two completed: 125 points X multiplier Round three completed: 250 points X multiplier Round four completed: 500 points X multiplier Round five completed: 2000 points X multiplier An example of how the point system works: You complete round five with minor poison, no potions, disease, and no special attacks: The multiplier is 13x, so you get 26000 points. 16. I haven't seen Mod Kathy before, therefore I am assuming she is a new recruit, probably placed in Customer Support. Most CS reps have forum duties as part of their jobs... But because they are just CS workers, they are often just as ignorant (if not moreso) than ordinary players. Unless this comes from a content developer, I will remain skeptical.
  17. I wasn't really complaining about a Thanksgiving update, just... surprised.
  18. Wait a bloody minute... Why the hell are Jagex releasing an update that celebrates THANKSGIVING? That's an American holiday celebrating survival of the harsh winter in the new colonies. It's like having fireworks magically appear on the ground on the 4th of July... It doesn't make sense, given that Jagex is BRITISH.
  19. If they have an 80+ smithing or firemaking requirement on this quest, I am going to slit my wrists.
  20. So true. PvP worlds are wildly popular in FREE, but in members... Not so much. The vast, vast majority of P2P PKers just DM near banks... And of those, 60% are Dharok Noobs, 20% are blitz/ags rushers, 15% are one/three/four itemers, and only 5% actually risk losing anything worth over 200k. It's a mockery of what PKing once was. Just look at the Clan PKing scene. All of the "serious" events take place in Free, because members PKing is so jacked up with all the one item BSers. You can't one-item in f2p and hope to do jack crap. It just won't happen. Thus, people don't really do it. Jagex did a good job with this update, but as you said, the community just isn't the same. It's so diluted with pixel-huggers than it's a waste of time.
  21. IN BEFORE THE LOCK :o
  22. Do slayer in PvP worlds. The problem will solve itself.
