Pking in vesta
And people like that [bleep] who PJed you with an AGS are why I no longer PK in members. Jagex needs to ****ing fix that, it's so ridiculous. 1/5 people above level 115 are noobs in bandos, fire capes, and d claws/AGS who sit there with prayer on, waiting to PJ somebody. Nice vid, though :)

Gf sailing Glad they are doing something =D> and  sums up my response... Thank you Jagex [/hide] :( :x  sailing would be awsome! I'm really only =D> ing and  ing that Jagex wants to do something about price manipulation. Whatever skill Jagex comes out with next, I trust they will make it great; even Sailing Manipiulators make runescape's economy actually good. Without them, everything would be cheap as hell. Of course it's good, rapidly changing prices of items causing thousands of players to lose millions of gp everyday is great. Also, this does not cause an increase in an item's price, instead it lowers it. Every time an item is manipulated, it's price rockets up, and then crashes down to below what its average once was. Yeah, and it's so nice to go try to buy something for God Wars and discover that some merchant clan bought it up, making it unbuyable. :wall:

Why private servers?
Nope. AFAIK, none of them even have the skill capes.
-
Why private servers?
Most private servers are exceptionally laggy, and it's quite difficult to find a reliable one that isn't laced with trojans.

Why are we mean to noobs?
Well, from what I've noticed in-game, GENERALLY, higher levels act more intelligent and are less annoying. You don't usually see a high-level player "telk lik dis" but you do often see noobs talk like that. I also believe that many high-levels bear deep-seated resentment towards noobs for the "noob agenda" that Jagex had for a long, long time. For the longest time, high-levels were lucky to get anything in the way of updates geared towards them, much less anything that was actually USEFUL.

"End Game" Gear
Any end-game equipment should be untradable. Having to somehow obtain 3rd age armor in order to have any hope of obtaining an Ely shield is absurd. :wall: God, I hate merchant clans.

"End Game" Gear
Elysian Shield. 'nuff said. But yes, they do need to release armor that negates damage like the DSS/ESS with level 80 or 90 defense requirements.

A Growing Problem...
I detest the merchanting clans. I think Jagex should ban Chessy018 and A C I D Y, ban anybody who is ranked in their CCs and close those CCs, and then close the RSOF marketplace forums. Seriously, these cartels are a cancer of the economy. They operate with a pyramid scheme, so that the high-ranked people in the clans make money hand-over-fist, while **** runs downwards and the scrubs in the clan get ****ed over by the sellouts. The only people who post in the RSOF marketplace forums are price manipulators and the sheeple who are stupid enough to believe them. Seriously. In the age of the GE, marketplace forums are obsolete, so I don't see how anyone can make an argument in favor of keeping them. After they do those things, which should send a clear message that cartels are NOT appreciated, they need to fix the GE controls. Any items worth over 25m should only require one transaction to trigger the "update mechanism," and any new items created (and for a month after their creation), should also follow that mechanism. Then, the GE needs to update four times a day instead of just once-- so that the prices can gravitate more towards their equilibrium prices.

Why would people crash soloers at bandos?
I would have PMed that guy and laughed at him, making it clear that I didn't bless his grave. Just to rub salt in his wounds. The only time I ever crash somebody else at GWD is if I have searched most worlds and they were all full. And regardless, I do not crash soloers ever, because they only last a short while anyway.

Holiday Musings and a permanent solution to rares
Um, I would be FURIOUS if they allowed noobs to get Bunny Ears. They are the item I am most proud of, as it shows I have played since RSC. I am sure people with scythes would be livid, too. Everything else is a good idea, though.

Has jagex just destroyed the most succesfull minigame in rs?
SW will not replace CW unless a [cabbage]load of changes are made. First and foremost, it's very unbalanced. Lower levels are utterly useless in this minigame, whereas they can at least contribute some in CW. They need level tiers, but Jagex said that is not possible. :wall: I find that both sides lose out due to this. When you have a clan like Corr or DI or what-have-you stack one side with their players, that side is not fun because you don't really have to do much and you'll still obliterate the other team. On the flip side, what's the point in trying when your team is predominantly level 80s with less than 70 slayer, who are wielding rune/granite armor with dragon weapons? What's worse is that most higher-levels I know just AFK for 20 minutes to get the mercy point when they realize they are on a horrible team. Also, barricades are useless and Bandages are too easily obtained. Jagex needs to set a limit of 56 bandages per 5 minutes on each individual player. That's two full inventories. It'd also be nice if players could obtain free runes and ammunition in this minigame. Of course, to balance that, they'd need to nerf the experience. *shrugs*

10-Feb-2009 Soul Wars Minigame
This minigame is like CW except without the strategy. There needs to be level brackets in this game (like Pest Control), because it's so heavily combat-based. Noobs are totally useless, because unlike CW where they can place cades, zerg swarm, and d spear spec, they are just fodder in this game. To make matters worse, most level 60-80 players have <70 slayer, meaning they are totally worthless. They can't capture points and they are too weak to make a difference against the Avatar. Therefore, teams can become extremely imbalanced, which really takes the fun out of the game for one side. I also wish they gave new equipment for slaying, such a sword that has the power of a d long ordinarily but on a slayer task, its stats are boosted by 25% or a bow that is equivalent to a MSB ordinarily but shoots with 25% improved accuracy and damage on a slayer task.

10-Feb-2009 Soul Wars Minigame
I think the requirements for the pets are fair. First off, you have to have the slayer level to kill the monster whose head you want, and second, you have to get lucky enough to get a drop. The Abyssal head is much rarer than a whip. Third, you have to spend a minimum of 9 hours or a maximum of 28 hours in order to get 85 points. It's pretty fair.

Am I going crazy?
Sometimes, people accidentally get added at a result of bugs in the GE coding.

The New Shields
The reason these shields are so expensive is because Jagex has made a plethora of hidden changes to the CB. These changes, combined with the absurdly low drop rate of Elysian/Divine Sigils, make the CB a waste of time and more importantly, a huge waste of supplies. So what if it drops onyx stuff? One person will always get all the drops, because they hop teams after missing a sigil.

And this is why when I PK, I do it in F2P. Too many noobs with D claws running around. Seriously, Jagex. MAKE. THEM. REQUIRE. WGS. For ****'s sake.

Dragon: Whats next?
Dragon Javs could potentially be very powerful. Just look at Morrigan's.

Year in Review
They mostly fixed it. However, the GE is still far too restrictive, especially since Jagex creates completely arbitrary starting prices for new items they make. For really rare items like Sigils and Third Age, they need to make the prices rapidly update, like D claws. They also need to remove a lot of the silly price floors on items like gold bars and fire runes. Oh, and it'd do most people a lot of good if Jagex banned the leaders of the most well-known merchant cartels (Chessy, A C I D Y, etc) and closed their Clan Chats. It's a pyramid scheme, with a few select people benefitting immensely while the vast majority of players suffers through wild price swings and not being able to buy items even if they have the money. Part of this is fixing the GE, but Jagex also needs to crack down on price manipulators like the aforementioned people and their "cartels."
