You know, at least Bruno rushes with style. Blitz + Ags at least requires a LITTLE skill... D claw rushing requires no skill at all. They are the most broken, OP, pathetically abused item in the game. I don't PvP on members SOLELY because of D claws, and I know many others who don't either. But meh, until Jagex gets off their [wagon] and fixes it, I can't really complain. No one can force me to go there, so it doesn't really affect me. I just don't like seeing people gloat about kills they got using claws, because it's like gloating about killing somebody in one shot with an AWP on CS. PS: People did not start walking around with Protect Melee on perpetually until D claws were released. If that isn't an indication that they are "broken," I don't know what is.

fire cape help (runescape)
Do While Guthix Sleeps and then spend a week soloing Tormented Demons. Not only will you have a chance to make some fat stacks, it's also the best conditioning for prayer switching. After a week in that hell hole, your reflexes with switching prayers immediately on a graphical cue will improve threefold.

26 kills is a record? I regularly get 20+ kills per trip, and I don't have a unicorn. I always run out of prayer potions. #-o I bring two turtles, filled with sharks, a pure set, and 2 range pots. I bring 10 pray pots, 1 super rest, and the rest of my inv (other than the required items) is sharks, equaling about 6-8. I use an SGS. Here's a tip: after every 6 attacks, turn on Steel Skin. It'll greatly reduce the probability of being hit for 15+ damage by the first attack after it switches styles.

Pray-X....GF Prayer Cape
I don't know why people are whining about this. It reduced the wrist strain, but it also make it where you can't get 5m+ prayer exp in a single day. If you were decent with mouse keys, it was possible to get 400-600k an hour. Zarfot got 700k an hour, but he was l337.

And thus why I do not PK in members' worlds. People like Bruno make PJing videos (which show no skill at all-- no offense to you, Bruno) and all the little wanna-be PKers at YT watch them and see how easy it is, so they scrape together pennies they got from 15 person Bandos masses and buy some D claws and VOILA, another PJer is born. [bleep] the quests, [bleep] the minigames, Jagex NEEDS to sort out the PJing issue IMMEDIATELY. They need to change the code that determines when you are considered "in combat" so that you need to go about 6 "turns" without attacking to be intercepted, and they need to add a 10 second immunity to attack when you get a kill. PJing has always been an issue, but it's a game-breaking one now because of the wide availability of very OP weapons.

PvP armour acctually useful in PVP worlds? *gasp*
I have a feeling that Vesta is being merchanted. The armor is still too expensive to be practical to use in PvP. The weapons can last a long time by just using them for specials, but armor, not so much. I think that 200k a piece is a good price for the armor. But yes, it's awesome. When in Statius armor, you don't even need to constantly have prayer up to guard against D clawers. They will hit 0-1 about 95% of the time, especially if you use a shield, too.

V Are you implying that I am whining? I'm not. I am just stating my opinion. The majority of people who use members' PK worlds are people who abuse the mechanics, and I would like that changed. You're whining. You're complaining about PvP worlds, and rushers have been out since RSC. Suck it up. Yes, but rushing wasn't as big an issue when weapons couldn't easily kill a maxed player in two turns. :wall:

What is Jagex's greatest achievement?
God Wars Dungeon. Most popular update since the beginning of RS2.

Members' pking is dead. The only people who use those worlds are rushers with d claws (or blitz + ags), PJers who attack people who double eat (the worst scum of all the 'abusers', imo) and the 26kers. Everybody else is either a 4 item dharoker or a pure. It's a shame, too. Jagex needs to either overhaul the Defense skill so that it actually reduces damage (and so as to prevent these 2-hit-kills that are so common), drastically raise the requirements on the weapons, or nerf them. I'd prefer the first option.

Different kinds of mage weapons
Magic, more than anything, needs a way to reduce the cost of spells. Both Ranged and Melee are viable for use in PvE combat, but magic is terrible because of the cost. Perhaps a new staff or ring that provides steep defensive penalties but reduces the rune cost of spells by 1/2?

17th March 2009 - The Chosen Commander|Route-finding Update
I am extremely disappointed with Jagex. First, they use the landmark 150th quest for low-leveled BS. While I appreciate they are finishing a storyline, I had hoped for at least a Master quest. Second, they took two steps forward with the elimination of familiars and safe-guarding "hacked" characters, but five steps back by limiting it to two worlds. With drop parties worth over 1m, the room has about 1/4 of the world's people in it. With over 10m, half of the world's population is in it. With over 20m, most people in the world are there. Even just 1m drop parties were laggy as hell. I honestly do not see how RWTs could effectively use the party room, what with the spamming bankers making sure all the noobs come out of the woodwork and bumrush the party room. There's absolutely no point to the party rooms, now. You'd have to have a top-of-the-line computer not to lag out there. And even if you don't lag out, what are the chances of getting something good over 1k+ other people crammed into the Party Room? Third, they made so many mistakes with launching the update. They crashed the servers, half of the pages still display the Phoenix banner, the KB article wasn't released for 15 minutes after the launch of the quest, and a German announcement appeared on the main page. You'd think that after discontinuing the BTS and skipping a week of updates, they'd be able to get it right. *shakes head*

Most famous rs player
Wait, was he the 6/6/06 guy? Yes. whats that? i reckon zezimas pretty famous to be honest. On 6/6/06, there was a bug with the combat arena at Cursed You's party as the first 99 Construction. When he kicked everyone out, several people retained the ability to attack other players, meanwhile they were helpless to defend themselves. Durial carved a swath of destruction from Rimmington, through Falador, up to Edgeville. He PKed a green party hat, a couple santas, and several other valuable items. There's a video of it on YT.

What is your biggest and best fail?
It's the target audience. Jagex caters to 12 year olds who, at that age, are rebellious slackers and don't give a rat's [wagon] about anybody but themselves. I don't think it's that these people don't know how to play the game as much as they just don't care. They get their zeal and then allow the "nerdy high-levels" to do the work for them. Such is the reason that I am adamantly opposed to the creation of any team-based game that does not allow you to select your own teammates (like Barb Assault.) It's inevitable that you will be put on a team with selfish, immature noobs if the game selects your team.

What they need to do to stop the manipulation is to institute a sliding scale based on the median price of items. Like this: Items worth 10m+: 1 per 24h period Items worth 5m-10m: 1 per 12 hr period Items worth 2.5m-5m: 1 per 6 hr period Items worth 1m-2.5m: 2 per 6 hr period Items worth 500k-1m: 2 per 4 hr period Items worth 250k-500k: 5 per 4 hr period Items worth 100k-250k: 10 per 4 hr period Items worth <100k: 100 per 4 hr period Raw resources: 10000 per 4 hour period This may seem strict, but it almost completely destroys the "buy-out/sell-out" scheme that merchanting clans use. There are few items worth over 1m that people need multiples of immediately. And it will also discourage merchanting, because if clans buy out an item and push the price up beyond the next threshhold, they'll become stuck with those items, unable to liquidate them at a fast pace.

Jagex, the Antichrist
Because many of those "teenagers" have played RS significantly longer than most, if not all, of the developers. It's fairly well-known that most of the development team has lower-leveled accounts. Therefore, they are less experienced with the game, ergo they do not fully understand what's wrong with the game, etc.
