  1. I did Underground Pass in RSC the first day it came out, so there weren't guides availible. It was tense but really fun.
  2. If you read the newspost you would know they can detect any macro device and therefore will not ban people not using one. If you're that naive, then I pity you. Every system makes mistakes-- there is an infinite amount of combinations between Jagex's bot detection system and any 3rd party programs you may be running. I personally know two people who have been wrongly banned for macroing, and one of them had it happen TWICE. No system is flawless. There is a reason that all courts have an appeals process-- without the ability to appeal something, your liberty is put in danger as without any cheques in power, a government teeters on the brink of fascism.
  3. I agree. Being wrongly banned with no chance to overturn it borders on fraud, especially if you pre-paid Jagex for several months' worth of membership.
  4. PJer? In F2P? :? Unless someone has a dragon battle or longsword, PJing is completely ineffective.
  5. No way, there is a BIG difference in how fast your energy drains.
  6. Agility's main purpose was to let you use shortcuts and to give people who raised the skill an advantage when F2P PKing. Honestly, very few people cared about run regen in members because everyone used terrorbirds, which are STILL more efficient than resting. They took out agility from F2P and made your run drain 200% faster as well. Overall, I think this ruined Agility.
  7. It's always low levels who get the drops, for some reason. I don't bother with the party room. Until they remove pets from the party room, I am not going to get myself flustered over it.
  8. Dude. Not only does run not restore faster in F2P, it drains about 5x faster than it used to. You take one step in full rune and you lose 2% energy. Pathetic.
  9. A. FRIEND. OF. MINE. LOST. HIS. AGS. Jagex's forum posts are just damage control [cabbage]. The bug has been fixed now but that doesn't help the people who got [bleep]ed when the update came out. They are just doing the typical "ignore the problem and hide all mentions of it" crap.
  10. One of my clan mates lost an AGS due to Jagex's incompitence. He lent it out before going to bed.
  11. That's about the gist of it. I just can't believe their attitudes... A friend of a friend I know had all his offers in the GE wiped, which included a DFS and AGS. Gone. Apparently lent items were deleted. But Jagex doesn't give a damn.
  12. So it looks like nobody will be banned and there won't be a roll-back. [kitties]! I have no respect for Jagex any more.
  13. They NEED a roll back. We all know they wouldn't ban people for this, as it's too difficult to track. If they do not rollback, the economy will greatly suffer.
  14. WTF HAX. Seriously dude, do you have T1 or something ridiculously expensive like that?
  15. Unless you have over twenty people, I don't think you can say the CB is easy. Even with a team of 10, chances are that you will end up using at least a quarter of your food per kill. Any boss that you can only last two or three kills per inventory doesn't qualify as "easy."
  16. I'm going to hunt you down IRL and stab you in the face.
  17. LOL Musky, I live near you #-o
  18. Very few of them were banned. Jagex was too afraid to undo all the work they've done towards improving the opinions of PKers.
  19. This is why I hate them.
  20. Way to go, MMK. Maybe if Jagex continues to intercept items that clans try to buy out, the premise of "clan merchanting" will die out. Merchant clans are the most insidious creation of the post 12/10 era, so I have no sympathy for them. I honestly would laude Jagex if they simply took the initiative and banned all those locusts.
  21. which glitch are you talking about? also, i'm unsure of this, but when I log into tip.it IRC, it detects that I am a SK user... Used to be that if you died in F2P with a familiar in P2P, you gained potential from items "lost" in the familiar. People abused this by loading each spot in a turtle or yak with several hundred K worth of items and rapidly building up massive PvP points. They changed it so that if you die, all items in a familiar are deleted, regardless if you are in p2p or f2p.
  22. I'd also just loooooove to see them make a front page post about this. Can you imagine the backlash they'd get? Also, how would they enforce it? As I mentioned, it'd be honored about as much as the "no advert blocking rule" and I really doubt that Jagex is willing to ban over a quarter of their paying customers. Hell, they wouldn't even ban a couple hundred who deserved it (from the Familiar PvP world glitch).
  23. Jagex is seriously barking up the wrong tree by starting this [cabbage] up again. I'd guesstimate that more people than ever before use SK, so it's probably going to be followed about as much as "advert blocking" is followed.
  24. Even though I usually follow Zarfot too, I don't take this without seeing any evidence. It's contradicting every kind of logic and everything else I've ever heard about the KBD. Protect from Magic will block his dragon-fire blasts if you do not have a shield. I'm not sure if it has any effect if you are wearing a shield. At any rate, wear Bandos or Torags if you are using Protect from Magic.
