Ya your going in the right direction, just keep adding to it, alter characters if need be (some bits look a bit skew-wiff), add textures and maybe something more in the background.. Its a pretty large canvas so you've got a lot of work ahead of ya, can't wait to see how it comes out.. 5/10 so far, but its still a wip so who knows how it'll end out like. :wink:

unfortunately, I... Don't like it.. Just most bits seem really rushed.. Gandalf is the only impressive thing there, and I doubt he drew that with out a reference pic of im in that exact position.. It is impressive in that way that he spent so long on it tho, but I'd love to of seen him make this whole thing in maybe a quater of the original size, he'd get much more detail in that he has in now.. If I was to rate it I'd give it a 10/10 for effort but sadly only an 8/10 overall.

I don't get why everyone doesn't start big and resize it to be small. That's what comic artists do, and if they're wrong I don't know what to believe in anymore! Its very hard to work on a large scale, which is why xman gets so much praise for his big sigs, when you work big lines aren't as smooth when done manually, pixeling relies on dithering to keep things smooth, AA, and basically tricking the eye, If you simply resize it it becomes blurry, jagged, and unpredicable... It works with drawing becuase you can be much more accurate, its easier to make mistakes on a small scale, cus you can smudge, wobble, your pen may make an unessisery thick line where you wanted it thin and clean.. Its just different for digital art because the where a comic artist would start large and resize, we can just zoom in and out..

I remember someone saying they won't hatch unless you have your HTML enabled, the hatched creatures don't look very good anyways, who wants a pink horsey???

I'd say, start over again, theres no use improving it because the layout sux, the quality is lacking and it looks rushed.. sorry to say. try some tutorials, look at other peoples work.. And stick to the TIF size limitations if its to be used here.

I will, I need ideas to make pixel sigs, and the best way is to make em for someone, if I can't sell em, they might as well give em away... Im not in the pixel business for money.. Jagex can burn in hell for all I care, I hate what they're doing.. Sig selling does nothing to the well being of rs players, I didn't even enter for the money, I picked the cheapest competition possible so I could basically just see what I can do.. Its like the government 'cracking down' on people drinking coca-cola, it may be unhealthy but it isn't 'bad'.. Well theres nothing I can do, if the Media Market doesn't come back on i'll just have to use it myself.. Theres no point just giving up on it..

He's been going out with this girl for the last month and they're really in love, he's just 17, she's 20. They've done everything together and have a healthy relationship, he takes her out and I don't think they ever argue.. Everythings great right?? Well just last week she admitted she's got a 4 year old boy and a 1 year old girl, from her past relationship.. He's gobsmacked and wants nothing to do with kids, cus he's still a kid himself, and doesn't even have any attachement to these children.. He still loves her but it seems like they're finding it hard atm, she's trying to not scare him away and he's tied between loving (first stage love) her and not wanting children. I know theres a 3 year gap, but she's still only looks, acts 17, and has plently of mates from 16-20. Anyone got any advice cus im stumped, he keeps textin me lookin for support, and all I can say atm is the obvious, "Im sure it'll work out.." God help his parents when they find out. :shock:

whatever man.. I've never used anything other than paint for my sigs, only ever through for glow effects (when im really desperate), the transparency was easy, I first chose the colours to be slightly greener for his robes, against the grass it looks see through, then changed the robes against the sky bluer.. started off with this, embarasingly, hated the iced guy. But I was gonna make it cartoony at first. The grass was just loads of dotting with the pencil tool. Despaxes, if everything I did looked the same, than I wouldn't get very far would I? My faces have changed recently cus im trying to make em look much more realistic, I look in the mirror for help 8) . Cheers Jdprs, im glad im doin ok.
