I think Herblore is more respected than Construction. Construction, to me, is just a skill you buy, and to be honest I dont have much respect for merchanters. So I dont really see why someone deserves respect for having a high construction level unless they raised the money from one of skill listed 1-4 above. I think (and also believe) the skill capes that are least respected are Cooking and Fletching. They dont require much skill (i.e Slayer) or patience (Farming, Runecrafting). All they require you to do is bank and click 4-5 times per inventory to gain experience. The Cook/Fletch X options are very easy ways to level and hence why I believe they deserve the least respect.

Basically I have a script that reads in the amount of users on a server and finds the one which is gaining the most users at that point in time. I will need to find out who my server provider is off the head admin.

Basically I need to execute a file on my server every 30 seconds and I have been told I can do this using Crontabs. Does anyone know how I would go about doing this? A possibly give me an explanation of how best to set it up? Thanks, Eye

Yes I use a router to share my connection, although the other computer it is connected to is never used. Should I disconnect the other computer from the router? Yes, I use zone alarm. Not yet but I will contact them soon. The plastic connection is cracked on port that connects the DSL filter to the phone line. Also the phone phone port that im using is using an extension of the downstairs phone line to provide a phone signal. However if I connect the router to the downstairs phone port (unbroken port) the same problem occurs, so I think I can possibly rule out this being the cause. Your post has made me realise a hell of a lot of things that are probably causing my connection woos! Thank you!!!!! :XD:

My internet is very temperamental, my connection will unbeknown to me drop every 5 mins or so. This becomes very annoying when on MSN messenger or IRC. On msn I will not be logged out however I will not receive any messages from my friends, which means most of the time I only get half of the conversation. When on IRC my connection is fine for around 10 minutes then I will stop getting any messages and will later be kicked for "Ping timeout" Anyone have any ideas whats wrong with my connection and anyways I could fix it? Hmmm its cool for forums i'll admit. It kinda annoys me though if you rest your mouse on a link and then move it away. The little blue box stays next to the link until you hover a over new link. I half like it and half dont, will take some getting used to I guess.

Its more than likely its accumulated alot of dust in there. My laptop did the same. I put the tube of my vacuum cleaner on the fan grill and you should have seen all the dust that came out with it. It was fine after that \ I advise you do something along the lines of that, but its probably much better and safer to open it up and clear it out that way. Make sure whichever way you choose to do it make sure the power is off though, dont want any electrocutions or broken fans etc. :ohnoes: EDIT: Woo 700 posts! \

Worlds get taken down all the time, world 126 used to be missing for ages then it suddenly appeared. I guess it will be back soon enough. P.S. You should be using world 99, the Tip It Homeworld!!! :thumbsup:

How about making 'RuneScape News' a subforum of the new General forum? (possible rename 'RuneScape News' to 'RuneScape Updates'?) I think it would make it a much more logical place to find and maybe it would stop the spammy locked topics we get when a 4-5 users try to post the new update thread. Also the 'Hidden Updates' thread could get moved into the 'RuneScape Updates' subforum and assigned it own moderators to keep the 'Hidden Update' thread upto date and would be less work for the Moderators that currently have to deal with it?

General & P2P Merging If you look at all the threads on the first page of in General F2P, none of them really apply to just F2Pers and already have P2Pers posting on there anyway. So could all easily be part of P2P discussion without much of a difference. Help and Advice I never really posted on H&A boards before they were divided, but since I have been posting alot there recently I have noticed that a lot of the topics are in the wrong forum anyway. So it would be a lot less work for everyone to merge them back together. Its logical for for forums like the Player Made Guides forum to be subforumed, as it make it a hell of a lot easier to look for a guide when you need one, but this is not an advantage for H&A and would make a lot more sense to keep all the help topics in one forum. Clues Board I have always thought this was a pointless forum anyway, as the guide on the Tip It site covers anything you would ever need to know about rewards/what to do etc. and all the other random event topics could go into General Discussion. So overall, I guess I would welcome all the changes. :thumbsup:

Buy lots of raw salmon, there quite cheap. Cook them at Rouges Den, you wont burn any. Its reasonably fast and cheap exp.

I guess your P2P? Basically, craft airs to level 14 it wont take long. You can use Normal Essence for this (it much cheaper). When level 14, buy or craft lots of dueling rings then you can tele to Castlewars and the Dueling Arena. Heres what to do. 1. Start at Castlewars use the bank chest there 2. Tele to Duel Arena, run north to the altar. 3. Make you runes and tele to Castlewars, repeat from step 1. The above method is very fast exp at early levels, and is also safe as your not using the abyss. If you craft yourself a fire tiara, you can speed this up by only needing to one click the altar to access it. N.B. Make sure you walk to castle wars at the very start, otherwise you will use your last charge and be stuck at the Fire Altar.

Yeah I was killing Cattlepons too, in the space of 45 mins I got 1 Freaky Forster and 2 Drill Demons. I think they have been made more common :-k

I would suggest pickpocketing Master Farmers until 53, as they are a one click thief. I dont really believe its worthwhile doing Pyramid Plunder until level 51 or 61. For agility, train at the Barbarian course until level 40, then grab yourself a few agility pots and head to the Brimhaven arena. Its quite fun there and its good experience when you trade the tickets in.

I find the best tactic is run immediately to the Yellow portal and use all your DDS special attacks (which will in most cases get you zeal). If attacking with experienced PCer's the yellow portal will be dead by this point, you may not even have time to use all your specs. At this point it is best to change to a Whip (if you have no special attack bar left) or a Dragon Mace (if you do) and attack the Red Portal. If the game has still not ended by this point change your weapon to a whip and go for another portal. (And then change worlds! Your world is obviously a bad one! :lol: )

You would have to be very lucky to get coal for 100 each, standard prices are 150-200gp each. It may be possible to get it this cheap at F2P worlds at Falador east bank, but I still think its unlikely.
