  1. Unicorn? Why not bring a geyser titan? It'd probably speed things up more than void. Whats a unicors? Im kind of a members noob. And what kind of exp did you get per hour? i might do this method when i reach 95 ranged. Summoning familiar, requires 88. But you could do it at any range level; 95 is just his level.

Your friend is taking a big risk by duoing with someone without 70 prayer... But the two of you combined could probably make a better profit than either of you soloing.
  3. These days it's impossible to find an empty world in the center area. Go to the Eyrie.
  4. ^I believe he's talking about the GE. Zaff does sell a limited number of them for a reduced price, and if you alch those it's a profit (though technically you still lose money since you could have sold them).
  5. If you craft your own nats you'd make a profit with conventional alching methods unless you're alching the wrong item (*cough* mage longbows *cough*). Green d'hide bodies and adamant platebodies are good alchables, though they lose a lot more than 26gp (something like 40-50 last I checked).
  6. Bull ant is a viable alternative to the terrorbird; the scroll is the exact same but it holds only 9 items. Better than purple sweets at any rate.
  7. Because it's better, obviously. Though a whip is better than a godsword, and a defender is better than DFS.
  8. Much more efficient to just leave them on the ground. For Dharoking, wouldn't it be best to swap a prayer pot for a holy wrench? If you have 75 prayer it gives 2 extra points per dose. 15*4*2=120 extra points, which is more than a prayer potion except for extremely high prayer levels.
  9. Dragon scimitar > Dragon long except for metal dragons. I don't know why there's a debate about it. It's quite obvious; the stat advantage of the longsword is very small and the scimitar is 20% faster.
  10. Ranged is slower than melee. You could try tanking them but it'd be a bit dangerous at your 72 defence. Chaos Tunnels is by far the best place to kill them. If you're going to pray use zammy brews instead of super attack pots; they boost your attack by 1 more than a super attack and restore your prayer.
  11. With his 93 range and 65 prayer he will have enough prayer to kill Dharok Karil and mabye 1/4-1/2 of ahrim. Just wear dhide use reamaining prayer and kill ahrim it will be easy. Slayer Dart is a classic i reccomend you bring that because its ftw Ahrim hits harder than Karil, it doesn't make sense to try to tank him when you pray on Karil. Besides, range gear will only waste inventory space. Slayer dart sucks. Don't use it.
  12. Any sort of mage equipment whatsoever at barrows is overkill, unless your mage level and/or your mage attack bonus is truly awful (I'm talking level 50, -40 to -50 bonus). The melee brothers have extremely low mage defence, though I imagine Karil's is probably higher. But you should range or melee Karil to save on rune costs. Two pieces of range equipment is also overkill. Don't bring the skirt. And use a ring of life unless you like taking unnecessary risks. Tanking Ahrim is suicide. He hits as hard on 100 mage defence as Karil does on 200 range defence. That is to say, very very hard. Verac also hits very hard compared to Torag and Guthan even without the armor-busting set effect. Pray melee makes a huge difference.
  13. The max hit with a black salamander is 23 (?), but it depends on your range (?) level. It's listed in the KB as a range weapon, so that would make sense.
  14. Addy bolts are 180gp each which is about 40 gp per shot at most. Crystal bow is 72 gp per shot.
  15. You can cut yews in F2P. The second choice is obviously better.
  16. The rune scimitar beats the rune longsword, why would you expect anything different for dragon? But the best overall melee weapon is the whip. Member's is a lot more complex than F2P so there is no single equipment setup that you can buy that will work for everything. But I recommend getting a regen bracelet, dragon boots, dharok's plate and legs, helm of neitiznot, and rune defender. Bandos> Torag's for most situations. And dharok's is cheaper than Torag's, by the way. The only use for torag's is range defence, and bandos has more range defence than torag's.
  17. 85 isn't the minimum. The minimum IMO is the point where waterfiends become the fastest way to get charms by melee which is probably around the upper 70s or so. But you'll be fine.
  18. They're 10k each, and more importantly, they only have a 27 (I think, somewhere around there anyhow) minute timer. Not worth it.
  19. Guthan's/Torag's helm, red d'hide body, sara/zammy legs, sara/zammy rune kite, armadyl pendant, snakeskin boots (guessing you don't have 5m for ranger), red d'hide vambs, ava's accumulator, rune crossbow, broad-tipped bolts. If you want a familiar the bull ant is the only option worth considering; it's probably the best fighter you've got and it can hold drops (so you can get more bones per cast of bones to peaches) and extra pouches. Once you get 70 it will be much easier as you don't have to use rune and you can kill them in the Eyrie.
  20. What's wrong with cave crawlers, basilisks, and banshees? Banshees are one of the best tasks in the game; great xp and great drops, and fast with a cannon. Cave crawlers and basilisks are both fast xp if you cannon. Sumona is probably faster xp than Duradel (because she gives out lots of cannonable tasks) but I suppose Duradel is better overall.
  21. Opportunity cost, mate. The time you save could be spent making money which may result in more money saved overall, depending on how much money you make and how much time you save. But of course you'd have to make money using the time you save.
  22. I believe that if you lost connection you wouldn't log out until the monster was dead or you died. Either that or the game automatically logs you out in the middle of combat like it does when you close out of your browser while playing. This sounds great. I love Vince!

Stoning someone every year for a traditional ritual isn't worth it, IMO.
  24. Brilliant. Makes me look forward to it even more.
