Zombies have higher hp, better drops, and only marginally higher defence as flesh crawlers. They're so weak that you could stay there for hours on a single load of food. I spent an hour there today wearing green dragonhide with a coif, and I used up 7 salmon (fleshies are weaker still, but whatever). In short: zombies> fleshies.

I believe Inashuakent recommends Guthan's with a combat familiar for them. He's written an amazing slayer guide, so I would trust him.

In general lying is something to be avoided. It's not a terrible crime but it's not a nice thing to do either.

The only FOG robe that has any use is the robe bottom, since there's no wizard robe bottom. And even that is obsolete if you have 50 runecrafting. The extra mage attack simply isn't worth the cost of the tokens.

I tried this in Clan Wars with a setup with -3 mage attack, lol. Using fire bolt I managed to do a fair bit of damage to a meleer with similar stats to me. With 7 mage attack and blast spells it would be quite effective. Rune 2h would be a good idea too, for KOs and rangers.

There is no way a leaf-bladed sword is best to use. The whip is far better. Qeltar claims that the d long is better than a whip, and anyone with half a brain can see that the leaf-bladed sword is better than the dragon longsword.

Why don't you actually try it? A few days ago it was only 70gp profit yet I managed to make an estimated 100k an hour (That's also about 50k cooking xp per hour which is pretty nice). Pizzas are very quick and easy to make.

To be in the most traded section means nothing. There are several dozen types of ammunition in the game, and the list shows (I believe) 100 items. EDIT: I checked out the most traded items page. 12.5m iron arrows and 12.4 bone bolts were traded today, as well as 11m bronze knives, 7.8m broad bolts, 6.1 mithril bolts, 9.5m bronze arrows... etc. etc. In comparison, the 1m steel bolts are very insignificant.

Dang. I was hoping that I would have no competition if/when I write a F2P mage training guide. Lessers and mossies are about the two worst range training monsters ever (in F2P). The reason behind this is that they are so crowded; if people realized there were other good options for range training then they would themselves would also become good options for training.

Why the heck does everyone use expensive food for training? Lobbies, swordfish, pizzas, etc. I always use salmon or tuna, unless I'm fighting in a very remote location (far from a bank) in which case I use a mix of plain pizzas and tuna. And cockroach soldiers are NOT in a remote location, less than a minute away from Edgeville bank. Considering you are spending money on pizzas already, you might as well add some anchovies to them and make them heal 4 more -.- Lobbies are easily accessible, one can fish 27 per trip if they have the explorer's ring, and you barely burn any at around 60 cooking Plain pizza= 270gp. Anchovy pizza= 500 something. Don't underestimate the significance of "adding some anchovies". Who cares about fishing lobbies? This is a guide about combat, not fishing. I'm guessing that you're obsessed with self-efficiency. News flash: You can get most combat supplies instantaneously off the GE. The only cost is money, and it takes a lot more money to buy a load of lobsters than to buy a load of tuna. And by the way I've found something better than plain pizzas: apple pies. They're like 150 each and heal the same; 14hp in two bites. That's why your guide isn't getting a lot of good reviews.

Swap the initiate for monk's to save a few kg of weight (and save a small bit if you die). The melee defence doesn't do you any good.

IMO, iron knives aren't worth it, they cost like 3x more for +1 more range bonus, stick with bronze. I doubt bronze knives are cheaper than iron (you'll kill more with iron, meaning more drops).

The fastest range xp I have found is the level 30 zombies in the SoS. 21,504 range xp an hour according to a timed test I did today. Don't do mossies or lessers. They downright suck, mostly because they are crowded. If you don't like zombies then you can do ankous, ice giants/warriors, greater demons (German PvP world recommended), or cockroach workers.
