Unless you actually see those people who got 0 kills and 500 points actually trying to snipe, chances are they were like me a few months ago and just MAVing it up. Which is very useful IF PEOPLE EVER LOOKED AT THE MINIMAP. Or if someone is using mortars. Sniping on rush has it's advantages and disadvantages. Can snipe people trying to plant, and also snipe people trying to defuse. Sniping while attacking (if you're good) means there are less people to stop your team from advancing. One or two people sniping while being attackers doesn't put your team at a disadvantage, seeing as how it doesn't take an entire team to plant one bomb (and subsequently die from the resounding C4 that was placed earlier by a defender), but having 6+ people on consoles definitely does.

Indeed, and Assault had the ammo box. It kind of makes sense, as the Medic was a support type (even though there was no suppression), while assault needed ammo at the front. I don't mind recon having semi-autos. I just wish they were consistent on their damage ratios. So many times I've shot a guy three+ times, but others I've shot once and they die. And it's the same the other way around too. I get hit a few times, but others I die in one shot. Another thing DICE needs to incorporate: a bleed-out effect. Once you get bellow 15% health, you start to bleed out, and if you don't find a medic bag, you die. No more of this bullcrap 0/1% health remaining/kill assist 100 shit.

BF vs. COD
But then what will fans of PC FPSs have to argue over? Battlefield 4 and/or CoD:mw4/BO3.

So... the recon class shouldn't have... sniper rifles. Makes sense. Granted, I do miss BFBC2's style of sniping (one hit kill, no matter the range) with bolt-actions.

Aggro sniping... *twitch* Anything that isn't an 8x or 12x scope, shouldn't be allowed on a sniper rifle IMO.

Shooting Massacre at Dark Knight Rises Premiere
How about stopping a crazed gunman? That seems like a pretty good reason to me. If even one person in that theatre had a gun there would probably be 1\5 of the casualties that there actually were. Or double the casualties. In a dark room filled with smoke and panicking people the hero would have almost certainly hit another person. I'll jump in here and say that, while that is quite certainly possible, chances are the civilian with the gun would be trained enough to know not to shoot anyone that is cowering on the floor/running away/not holding an assault rifle. Unless they are a complete idiot and decide to start shooting randomly, chances are not too many people would actually get hurt by another person having a gun, who is trying to stop the real "threat". This is all baring random circumstances of course, such as illegally owning said gun/not being trained/being shot by the "threat"/etc.

Steam Summer Sale.
Not related with the sale (kinda), but I'm really wanting to get Payday: The Heist. My friends and I are trying to find some different games to play, and we're torn between Arma 2 (for day z), and Payday. I personally don't think Day Z looks like much fun, especially with the attitudes a few of my friends have towards dieing in games (whines a lot). We decided to get Combat Arms until we can come to a decision on the other two. I played a few games while my friends were offline, and it isn't all that great. The menus are a big mess, it's mostly pay-to-win, and it's just not much fun. Bleh.

And here is this same video's url/link that I've copied right now. Unless I'm copy/paste'ing the wrong thing, embedding doesn't work for me. You have to remove the https:// part it seems. Videos with http:// should work. Yea, apparently that "s" messes it up. Odd that that would even be there in the first place. Nice one youtube. <_<

Like what? MageUK might be able to add it back. The old "media" button, which kind of acted as a one-button-push to show youtube videos here. Maybe it's this new anchor button, I'm not sure. I haven't messed around with it much. Also, the old link/anchor button, with the url + "type what you wanted to it say" thing. The old style just seemed a lot more... efficient. An option to have the old style as default, and then add in the new buttons as an "advanced" setting would be awesome. Grrr, my keyboard is acting weird. A lot of typos lately.- Today...

Dungeon Defenders and Magicka are always fun games, if you play with friends.- Battlefield Discussion Thread
Newest Armoured Kill video, showing off the second of the four new maps. (Since the new posting setup doesn't have the simple one-click-paste-media display, the actual link will have to do.) It's a shame only small parts of the map will see any real action on consoles. God forbid they up the team sizes when releasing "the largest map in battlefield history".- Steam Summer Sale.
Quite possibly my last purchase, but I decided to get E.Y.E. Divine Cybermancy, as some of the LPer's I subscribe to on Youtube have played it before, and it looked really interesting, albeit confusing at the same time.- Steam Summer Sale.
Sins of a Solar Empire is on sale after only about a month of being released... kind of a slap in the face. <_< I've heard STALKER is pretty good, so I'm thinking about buying that. My poor computer has so many things to download lately. Shogun Total war 2 Dungeon Defenders Men of War pack (like 11 things to download) Sanctum Magicka KOTOR Possibly the STALKER series- Today...

Not as good as AOE2, but still pretty decent. I've never played the expansions though, so I don't know how those are.- Today...

Arr-dough-gun. Weird I know, but hey...- Today...
Some kind of allergy/corn rash I'm assuming? Went paintballing with my friends yesterday. Had a good time. Got shot: twice on my head/hair, once in the face, twice in the neck (during revolutionary war), four times in the torso, twice in my arms (one left a really nasty welt), once in the crotch (by a friend), and three times in my legs. Bad part was, only about five of those actually broke. Got a few lucky "kills", as I'm not very good with aiming a paintball gun due to having a mask on. All in all, it was a good time. In other news, about three or four packages should arrive tomorrow. Can't wait.
