Stay up as long as you can then. Stay up till 10:00 p.m. so that you're guaranteed to go to sleep. That's usually what I do when I can't sleep and it's early in the morning.

My friend and I have been playing PvP a lot, and we decided to try out a few classes. He likes the Thief the most, while I'm getting pretty decent with the Mesmer (?) class. I don't like how the PvP scoring system is made up. It could AT LEAST show the Kills/Deaths of everyone, instead of each person's score. But I must say, the trebuchet on the one castle town map is so fun to use once you zero in the main hot-spots. I've gone 250+ score on that map from just using it.

My friend's and I got it. I decided to start with a Charr Engineer. I think I might make a Necromancer as well. There are so many icons on the map, it's rather... intimidating. What with the Points of Interest, vistas (Assassins Creed anyone?), etc. it's just a bit overwhelming. But other than that, it is pretty fun so far. Managed to 100% explore Lion's Arch in about 30 minutes.

I finally got my computer back. It's going to take at least a week to download all of my games off of steam again. When I got home, I found out my keyboard decided to not work, so I had to go BACK to town and get a new one. It's about time I did tbh, that thing was ooooooold, and I'm quite liking my new one. And I am now feasting on egg rolls and crab rangoon from a local HyVee.

For quite possibly the first time in online fps history, someone actually sent me a message saying "well played". And it was a guy I had knifed a few times as well. Was expecting a rage message tbh.

It's a four year old HP desktop, so that's entirely possible.

If the HDD was ghosted then that's a good thing. Ghosting a HDD is where you make an exact clone of all the data on another HDD. I've ghosted a few HDDs over the year, mainly when people need to send in their laptops for repairs or to be replaced. Maybe. I'm not savy in computer language, but whenever I tried to start-up my computer, I'd end up with a black screen within 30 seconds, and then nothing would happen (wouldn't even respond to a shut down command). Whenever I tried doing a system restore, I'd get the blue screen and a mouse cursor, but that is it. Couldn't do anything with it. And the Vista came pre-loaded on the computer, and we didn't ever bother to make a copy.

The computer store I took my computer too said my harddrive "ghosted" or something along those lines (the guy was kind of hard to understand)... FFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU- Have to wait till Monday for them to get my new harddrive going. :sad:

While that's true, I can see games like Hardcore Headquarters being pretty popular now. It just seems like way too many things are being made into kill streaks.

I was going to say how having one kill streak was a good thing (just like MW1)... until I watched that and saw how much crap there is for kill streaks. If you can seriously get ALL of that just based off of points... insane. And not in a good way.

My computer's hard drive is failing, so I'm having to get a new one. Thankfully it'll be a terabyte one. Unfortunately, I'll have to get windows 7. Blehhh.

That aftermath bit looked like it was from the campaign. Maybe it'll be set after the earthquake in the first (second) mission. Other than that... Biggest map in Battlefield history, but only 24 players (six or more of which will probably be sniping) on consoles. Great idea.

I decided when I first started playing to shoot anyone who happens to shine a flashlight in my eyes, and claim that I couldn't tell which team they were on.

I know that feel. My mom freaks out over the littlest things, like greeting cards/packing away items/why my room is the way it is/etc.

I received this in the mail today. Very pleased with it. It's bigger than I expected it to be, but still fits the area I planned on hanging it. Kiiiiiiiiinda wish the Game of Thrones logo weren't on there, or at least not as big, but meh. [hide][/hide] I think I might look into a MMO that just recently came out called The Secret World. Other than that, not much new.

They're looking for the Machine God! In other news, finally going to be getting my computer back tomorrow. I sent it into a local computer parts shop to have it looked at, as it was freezing up a lot upon start-up, or when left idle for 20+ minutes. If I came back and tried to do anything, I had to... hard shut down (think that's the term anyway) and restart it. They said there wasn't much they could really do, except upgrade to windows 7 (using 64 bit vista atm). I'm not sure what to expect at the moment. When I first took it in, the lady who owned the store was shocked when I told her I'd had my computer for four years (it's an HP) and hadn't had any problems with it until now.

It would seem I'm the only guy I know (IRL and here on the forums) that uses Dove for men body wash. According to a bunch of girls I know, the "blue" one smells amazing (there are like... 4 different kinds I guess). Also use the same brand deodorant, since the shower gel usually comes with a a free deodorant stick. Shower once a day in the morning, twice if needed.

I have to wonder, though. If something like this had been done with a knife, baseball bat, explosive, or any other non-ballistic weapon, would it change the whole "ermahgerd guns r bad BAN THEM ALL!" feel of this thread (and the TDKR thread)? Maybe we should just ban all forms of weapons, huh? Making guns illegal wouldn't change anything IMO. If anything, it'd just make things worse, in that it would fill our already overflowing prison population even more. Plus, I'm fairly sure Texas would secede from the U.S., and then the government would promptly invade to reclaim the oil refineries.

Over 30 hours and nobody has posted a new post... my god this place is becoming barren. :sad: There was a large storm here around 11 o'clock, which knocked out power till about 5. Caught up on some warhammer 40k books that I haven't read in a few months. Other than that... unproductive.

Any other kinds of MMO's are rather outrageous. We have ones like EVE (where you pay people money to basically be a slave online), the generic MMO (LOTRO, SWTOR, WOW, Warhammer AOR, etc., which is quest level up pvp quest quest level up MAX GEAR), Runescape/Maplestory (lol), the kiddie MMO's that my nephew likes to play, dungeon crawler MMO's (like Dragon's nest), or some rare FPS ones (Combat Arms for example) that you can buy guns to use for a certain amount of days before you have to buy them again. I personally believe someone should make a Warhammer 40k MMO, but that's just me... I really enjoyed SWTOR, but then something happened with my game launcher that wouldn't let me play again, and every time I tried to log in on their website, they had me reset my password and answer my security questions for some reason, and each time, my answers were wrong (even though I had written down the answers). So I never got to play my level 30something Commando again. :sad:

I got the first season of Game of Thrones yesterday. Man, never has there been a show that has actually made me MAD for no real reason. I'm only two episodes in and already I want to punch that Lannister kid in the face.
