  1. I've been playing this game since mid 2001, so I've grown quite fond of my character. No swapsies, thank you!
  2. I for one am all for very high level updates, about level 90+. And yes, I do have 99 cooking, but that's my only 99 at the moment. Most of my skills are level 70-80. I'm not asking for updates I can do this instant. I want updates that make me want to level higher. But not only should the requirements be high, but the rewards also. If I level my crafting to 95, I expect to be able to craft more than just a bit better ranging equipment. It should be something worth the work. A minor but highly useable help to another skill, a chance to make something powerful, you get the idea. I don't consider myself high level, but I'm still craving for high level updates.
  3. Pirkka: "I would love to be able to give items to my beast of burden familiar while still banking." Mod Ash: "Me too. But that'd be a fair bit more complicated than today's update, and would require a more substantial change to the bank interfaces. We know it's something people want, though, and I expect it'll be done in the not-too-distant future. Probably when the 2D interface staff are less overworked."
  4. Ever got tired of closing and re-opening the bank so many times when you’re equipping your character? In this week’s update, we’ve updated the bank’s inventory view to offer right-click options on certain items. You’ll be able to equip weapons and armour, eat food, fill essence pouches, drink antipoison and energy potions, and much more besides. The Equipment Bonuses interface has also had a makeover this week. It now offers right-click options for viewing the stats and weight of your items, and you can ‘Compare’ one item with another to see their stats displayed side by side. We’ve taken this opportunity to list items’ damage-absorption rates along with their other stats - this feature is used by high-level Dungeoneering reward armour. While you’ve got the bank open, you can even toggle instantaneously between the Bank and Equipment Bonuses interfaces by clicking the new buttons at the top-right corner of each. This should help you unequip items and check their stats without shutting the bank. We expect you’ll have plenty of suggestions for operating other items with the bank open. While the system will always be a bit limited (i.e. don’t ask to combine items or light fires with the bank open!) we’d be happy to hear your requests. 5. Pretty sure Zarfot no lifes it.... Pretty sure Zarfot only played 6-10 hours a day and not 16+ ? 6-10 hours is still enough to be no lifing it. Thats quite a lot. It's still a lot less than 16+ hours a day. True, but I could also say 16 is a lot less than 24 so therefore 16 hours is not no lifing it. Not true... [/hide] right because any true scaper can play 24h a day consistently, yea theyll get a whole 30m xp before they die...and no i dont mean in rs If you sleep 7 hours of your day, and go to work or study for 6 hours (which by the way is quite low, I sleep like 8-9 hours on a normal day and work for 8 hours), you're left with 11 hours. So, if you spent 90,9% of your free time playing RuneScape, I think that's quite a bit no-lifing.
  6. Make Dragon Slayer a requirement for posting to forums. That would stop noobs for sure.
  7. The herblore scroll is actually quite nice, might get it someday. The others, no thanks. They need some major buffing before they actually have an use.
  8. Actually, the quality of this months updates is astounding. I personally loved the void quest, and charm hunting is a fun way of getting the strange rocks. Also, the make X -improvements are very nice and will affect almost everyone for the rest of RuneScape. Still, I would've liked Jagex to release the updates separately each week. Now, all I have to wait for is the Halloween update, and it will only last for an hour or so. So, quantitatively speaking, this month wasn't that great. So, let's hope that November is going to be awesome! At least they have some extra time on their hands, since this month is almost complete.
  9. Well, the last Panasonic console, the 3DO, was 699 dollars. So, better start saving now.
  10. I can remember when I couldn't even choose the server. So yeah, I've been playing since 2001, but I don't seriously like to brag with it. I never bring it up in-game unless someone asks. I don't see why it's relevant to this moment.
  11. Is it possible to decant Super Energy Potions (4) to (3) in an easy way? I need to add papayas to get some herblore exp from my thousands of super energy potions, but I can't add it to (4) potions.
  12. Is the exp weekend still active the whole monday, or does it end at 00:00?
  13. Chapter 4 - "Between a Rock Crab and a hard place" Day 4 of the Cryptic Clue Fest ...After solving the clues on the tiles I knew I would need to do some research in the city of Falador and Megan told me that she had hidden another clue in Falador castle. I had discovered that Megan was the granddaughter of one of the secret society members and the task of protecting the great secret had fallen to her. She seemed trustworthy and I needed the help. She led me to the majestic Falador castle and to the top of one of the towers. There a statue of a knight looked out over the city. Here, help me with this Megan asked, a cheeky smile spread across her face. She began pulling at a stone engraving on the base of the statue, as I helped we pulled it away to reveal a thin sheet of bronze hidden beneath the engraving. However, as I started to investigate the relief, the trapdoor leading to the tower flung open and emerging from it was a rather mild-mannered man in a hideously coloured shirt. The secret will be ours he hissed, pulling out the wicked looking dagger from a hidden sheath. He was the same man who had tried to kill us in Varrock, somehow he had found us. We were trapped again, with nowhere to run. As the killer advanced on us, I glanced over the edge of the tower and thought of a daring escape plan. Do you trust me? I bellowed at Megan, her faint nod was enough to encourage my actions. Grabbing her arm I jumped off the side of the tower, the rush of air from falling was shocking, but nowhere near as shocking as the cold water of the moat surrounding the castle. I pulled Megan with me, desperately swimming to reach the side and clambered out. When we finally reached safety, I examined the bronze sheet we had discovered; The secret writ, the tomes protected. 14. Are you missing a item here? It didn't work for me. :(
  15. I did the old clue I had sitting in my bank, and this is what I got:
  16. Information Update: The game update will not be launched today (Monday 2nd). We had to perform a rollback to the game engine (don't worry, this did not affect your in-game accounts!) and, if all goes well, we are aiming to launch on Tuesday. Thank you for your patience!
  17. No, but you do need a fire cape. [/troll]
  18. Increased the probability of getting strange rocks while training Hunter. Thank god!
  19. Except the battle against Nomad was actually quite new in many ways of gameplay, the simple combat system of RuneScape taken to the next (and hopefully last) level. The RuneScape combat system can't really handle anything more epic in terms of combat. The puzzle was just a treasure trails slide puzzle with a few more grids and a longer wait time between moves. It brought almost nothing new to the whole game, it was just the same stuff with some annoying changes added. I personally call this the single worst quest in the whole game and hope the whole elemental workshop will be ditches as a questline.
