25-May-2010 - The Elemental Workshop III
Elemental Workshop is seriously the only quest line I hate. After finally getting down to it, it took me like 45 mins to do every single puzzle. My problem is that the quest has nothing more than finding a book, doing some basic puzzles and smithing a piece of armour. Almost no lore, almost no plot. I had forgotten everything about parts I and II. I hope the next installment will make a few years to make.

LOST: The Final Season
It was a great way to end a story. Not perfect, but better than I expected. Rest in peace, Lost.

Monkey Madness musing
I did it on the day of launch, without a guide. Took quite a few hours and I remember it being quite hard, but the final fight was as easy as anything.

01-Apr-2010 - RuneScape Theme Park COMING SOON!
Has there ever been a worst kept secret? As early as 2007, observant RuneScape fans have been avidly watching Google Maps for the construction progress of our latest adventure: Wet n Wildy, the RuneScape theme park! Thats right, at the end of 2010, we will formally be opening our doors and portculli, allowing you all to come and meet your favourite personalities, experience the thrills of living in RuneScape, and even sample its varieties of cheese. We still have a few details to confirm, so this is where you come in: we want you to vote in the poll, on the front page of RuneScape.com, and offer your thoughts on prices, rides and plush toys. We wouldnt ask for your help without giving something in return, so please click on the image link below to view the RuneScape Wet 'n' Wildy visitor map, hot off the press. We can also offer a blog, accessed from the bottom-right of the RuneScape.com frontpage, which gives insight into how such a huge endeavour was tackled and brought to life, written by Mod Paupersen, our Wet n Wildy project coordinator. Looking forward to seeing you all on opening day! Dev blog:

24 Feb 2010 - RuneScape Machinima Contest 2 Poll
I thought most of them were fairly horrible, and thought that number 2 would win the competition with no contest. I was quite shocked to find out these were the results: Video 7 19% (6100 votes) Video 8 18% (5668 votes) Video 5 13% (4052 votes) Video 2 12% (3711 votes) Video 4 11% (3619 votes) Video 1 10% (3198 votes) Video 6 8% (2698 votes) Video 9 4% (1153 votes) Video 3 4% (1137 votes) Video 10 3% (855 votes)

Fire cape compromise. New post by Mod Chris L.
I have a 8Mb DSL myself (I can download stuff at steady 750Kb/sec. But still, living in Finland, the servers aren't that great. The ones in Finland lag worse than the ones in Holland or Sweden, but those ones sometimes work like a charm, and sometimes they don't work at all. I just tried killing Jad 4 times today. I got to Jad 2 times, two times my connection gave up on me on a crucial moment. I'm still far from 92 slayer but still, I wouldn't like to see killing this monster as a requirement to kill ice wyrms. It just doesn't make sense. Just my two cents.

11-Jan-2010 - Nomads Requiem
I beat him with Karil's and AGS. I had my tortoise, brews and super restores, and at the end of the battle I had 11 hps, no brews or super restores. So, the ratio was just right and I hit a very lucky streak. At first, Nomad was hitting me like mad, but for the last 10 hits I was at 11 hp. He didn't hit me once. I got him on my 6th try and I can tell you, it's the most epic quest experience I've ever had. Is this quest a grand master? For sure.

Tip.it Times 20 December 2009
The player moderator article was good, although a bit short. I would have loved to hear more, being a player moderator myself. The cooking post was well thought, and I seriously would like to see some harder recipes, not just skills demanding higher levels.

08-Dec-09 Kuradals Dungeon
I got 2 in a row, so the drop rate can't be that rare. I've got 6 rings in 2 tasks in Kuradel dungeon.

03-Dec-2009 - The Temple at Senntisten
Not really. He shoots the beam about every 16 seconds, so I think about 1-2 pots is enough. I might try killing him today with the prayer. Of course he might have a million HP:s and a regeneration rate of 10 hp's per second.

03-Dec-2009 - The Temple at Senntisten
Did you notice that the strange old man doesn't speak gibberish any more? Also, has anyone visited the frozen fortress after the quest?

Runescape and JaGeX
I remember reading from Edge magazine or somewhere that Jagex has noticed that their players feel like RuneScape is a hidden gem in the Internet, therefore they only use guerrilla marketing tactics.

Runescape Interview by MMORPG.com
"We're really trying to focus on higher levels and endgame content at the moment, so I see a great deal of next year's updates being suitable for those players with 70+ in skills, including content for the uber-levelled players (90+)." Oh my goodness, that's something to wait for! 8)

Why this year hasn't been so bad
I believe they fobbed that off as being Temple Trekking (and its sister minigame). Nope, that's not the case (it was confirmed a while back that it's not in the game yet) Oh my god, I had already lost hope with this. I seriously hope this is coming!
