  1. Quite a useless update, I'm sorry to say that. Was hoping for more!
  2. Harvest Heaven (members only) It's a glorious springtime for high-level farmers, as today sees the release of ten new plants to grow, along with new produce and cross-skill training opportunities. With Farming skill requirements ranging from 76 to 96, and making use of some of the lesser-used plots, they're blooming handy for high-level training. The ten new plants fall into two categories: those that yield produce when harvested, and those that grant experience in other skills (in addition to the Farming XP, of course). In the first category, there are some familiar sights such as snape grass and potato cacti - available through farming for the first time. You'll also find some new plants: reed beds, which produce toads, swamp tar and swamp lizards, and butterfly flowers, which yield ruby harvests and have a chance to spawn a Guthixian butterfly, which grants XP in your lowest-levelled skill when caught. If you've the necessary Construction skill, you'll also be able to build frames for growing grapevines, which - when harvested - offer a crop of godly grapes, aligned to Saradomin, Zamorak and Guthix. When added to water and fermented, these become wines, which can be mixed into the rest or brew potions of their respective gods, creating super Guthix rest potions, super Saradomin brews and super Zamorak brews. There's also the wishing well bush, which yields its fruit in exchange for a sum of coins based on your total skill levels. Upon opening the fruit, you will find useful items of a varying value - up to three times that of the coins you put in - although beware that it is possible to lose as well as gain wealth from this! In the second category, you'll find such wonders of nature as fly traps, which grant Thieving XP if you can snatch out their fruit with your fingers intact. There are barberry bushes too, which offer Agility XP to the nimble naturalist. Battle-botanists among you (we know you're out there) will enjoy the al fresco training offered by harvesting sunchoke tubers and prickly pears, which grant Strength and Defence XP respectively. Note that the amount of non-Farming skill XP given by harvesting these plants is relative to your current level in the relevant skill. It's spring: the sun is shining, the earth is tilled, and you only reap what you sow. Get out there and get those hands dirty! Mod Maz Queen of the Squirrels How to start: You can pick up seeds for the new plants in a variety of ways. Requirements: You must be a RuneScape member. The new seeds have a range of skill requirements. Building grapevine frames requires 60 Construction. 3. I find it fascinating that even half a year later this update is still being discussed daily. I would gladly accept one update every two months if they were this polished, deep and fun to play.
  4. I would seriously appreciate some added functionality to the performance of the HTML5 beta.
  5. Shouldn't this interface thingy be beta and HTML5 alpha? It seems that way to me, at least!
  6. I would like to see the elven storyline come to an end too. When they introduced the quest series, they said it would be an epic and big storyline. Almost ten year later we're still waiting, and I think the original quest planner has left Jagex a long time ago. I don't really care about dwarves, gnomes or pirates. I just want to see what happens in the elven lands. Not that I can remember that much about the lore, as I completed some of the quests almost 10 years ago.
  7. My expression when looking around in high places:
  8. If you really want to challenge your ideas of FPS, go to the Living Rock Caverns world whilst in the Beta Client. It's sort of awe inspiring. Well that was something different!
  9. It's running way better already. Crowded places sure do dip my FPS, though.
  10. 2 Yeah, it's beautiful! Still running only ~20 FPS, with i5 processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti 448 Cores DirectCU II, 1280MB GDDR5, but I'm sure it'll get better. Only using about 20% of CPU and 15% of my RAM. Optimization is sure to happen.
  11. So, how does the adventurer reroll really work? If I have already sent the two adventurers I got today, will I get new ones and will the sent ones still finish? What is the maximum amount of adventurer rerolls you can have?
  12. FML (= Curse My Luck)?
  13. From my notes, I killed 7830 KBD's before getting the head. If you don't get it in the next few months killing 70 a day, feel free to rage.
  14. You guys still believe doubling your bet everytime works? Don't they teach you anything about odds in school?
  15. I actually think I was the first one in the whole world to complete the quest. Got congratulated by some staff about it, but I'm not certain. It's a shame we can't see time stamps in our adventurer's log :( The quest was epic! I loved every bit and piece of lore there was!
  16. To do the quest, do you only need to have level 140cb and the rewards depend on your skill level/quests done or do you need 140cb and the skill levels/quests done? I actually have no idea. I don't know if the end of the quest gave me all the extra stuff or if I need to fetch it somewhere else.
