  1. Just be calm. Take everything slowly. Don't worry about popularity. Well i'm not REALLY that worried about popularity i'm just worried about the difficulty of assighnments etc. and other stuff. Middle school is the easiest crap ever. You -should- be worried about popularity. Just don't act like a dork.
  2. Dude.... seriously. Why in God's name would we be jealous of a mullet? Generally, when people make fun of a haircut, they aren't jealous. I know, hard to believe, but there you are... Why do you take it so seriously?
  3. I can help you there. Most "memory" is kept in the hippocampus (sp?). Memories are formed when synapses are formed, that happens when a thought is fired through the nerves many times, so it leaves a lasting footprint of sorts. Scientists have found memories are dissected and sorted for storage, then reassembled for recollection. They also converted 3 mouse memories into binary... --- (1) My question: if everything has a purpose, what is that of the cockroach? Ahh, thanks for that. (1) Easy. To exist and reproduce. true, that is what they need to do, but how does it affect its environment? unless somehow it was known we would pollute the world billions of years after the creation of the cockroach, as they would die offf if we would stop producing garbage. almost nothing eats them, they don't eat or do anything useful... maybe it's right up there with the appendix.... When almost nothing eats them, that means something does. AKA, they have a purpose. To be eatten by certain animals.
  4. Haha you are easily the funniest guy alive, where should we pick the grapes from. Get the hell off, no one likes you.

    No, he's not, he's a gynocologist. I thought that's what gynocologist did? O_o.
  6. When i saw that and then the authors I thought 'Oh no, one of the funniest TIF'ers is going down the tube ..'. Then I saw this. I was happy. :)
  7. Yeah. I was talking about the speed of light from the sun to Earth is 8 seconds or minute (I believe it's minutes), and if the sun were to some how be sucked into a black hole, moved, exploded, etc, we wouldn't know about it for 8 minutes due to the speed of light.
  8. Wow, I like thinking about that - ll, like Trapical said, it's a distortion. It would appear he was there before he left, because the light of him being in one spot couldn't move fast enough to be the same in both conditions. VERY interesting, indeed.

    Abortion.

Only the girl gets those consequences, the guys get totally away with it. Teach people a lesson? A sexist way to teach that is. :notalk: Way to make no sense.

    Abortion.

If the family can't afford or can't raise a baby properly, you shouldn't have a baby. There's no reason that if you're barely scraping by to add another expense to your budget. Although, it'd teach the people a leason (for some reason, I think I spelled that wrong) not to have sex without contraceptives. But again, if they can't raise a child properly, they shouldn't even have it.
  11. Hey, any help is good help. Tips help sprout new ways to do things that could be better. Anyways, a picture of some of them: Spider Plant Pretty plain, but hell of a lot easy ..

That line was hilarious for some reason.
  13. Aha! A plant topic. As in, growing flowers, vines, bushes, and such. I recently got very interested in growing these - I got a few spider-plant offspring with around 4-5 inch leaves on them from my science teacher that produces them like crazy. left it in a pool of water on the window seal for a week or so then planted them, and currently they've taken up the entire pot and are growing enormous stalks that are producing offspring and flowers. (One's defiantely at least a foot and a half long.) The offspring I just planted in another pot of soil today, after letting it's roots get cut. If I can, I'll get some pictures of both .. I aim on getting more diverse types of plants to grow, it's really fun to watch something grow and produce 'babies'. Haha. I'm wondering if anyone could give me some tips on better ways of helping my plants? Or if anyone grows any themselves?
  14. Ok? I started school yesterday.
  15. Plants don't have a brain to have feelings, nor nerve endings to feel pain. Of course humans need to eat protein, and there is plants such as leguminous plants and soja that can do the job nicely. Also, there's a huge difference between quickly ending an animal's life, and making it suffer carelessly. Mythbusters did something like this, to measure the electrical discharge a plant gave off in certain circumstances. When a person was imagining the plant being burned, it started increasing tremendously. When he hit it, it kept increasing.

  17. Hmm if this crap is still up, [email protected] I think. I don't know. I just signed up 5 minutes ago.
  18. I guess destroy all humans is rather good. The second one I have, I haven't played the first in forever .. the second one has plenty of things to do, such as zapping communists ..
  19. I'm not saying that - I'm just saying it's bad to play such violent games at such a young age. It's unethical. But whatever, you won't care. But anyways, if you have a somewhat decent comp, civilization 4 is always an interesting game with major replayability.
  20. 12? How was I supposed to know that. You never said you were -not- 11. All I'm saying is that kids 14 and younger shouldn't play M games. Sorry.
  21. Amazing that you have a rated M game when you're 11.
  22. Hey look, another pointless topic!
