Did you study the bones of a finger before you started? The bone sticking out needs to be bigger, and also it should have a visible joint before the tip. Look at the other finger at the same point, it has a joint before the end, This is just wrong.

It's nice, but has no depth. The burning and dodging on the hand makes it look like a cartoon.

Wells Cathedral- bad composition, it's just dumped in the middle. you could have stood closer to create a more low angled shot to make the building look taller and generally more awesome. Also the blue sky completely clashes with the building's colour. The Big Meet- pretty nice, although I would have the two bigger blobs in the foreground in focus, not blurred. 3- semi-interesting, but the focus is way off on this one Down The Plug- foreground needs to be in focus, there are two big 'walls' of blur on either side that are incredibly distracting A Perfect Circle- i see the idea you were going for, but it doesn't really work too well Before The Rain- under-saturated, and there's no vignette there ;) A vignette is a border which fades to a blur/colour

There's no flow. The black lines are all the lines taken by the fractal in the background, they're all over the place. The white is blank space which doesn't work particularly well. Also I cropped it, I think the original is far too wide. There's unorthodox canvas sizes, but you need to push the limits, not ignore them.

Your scathing sarcasm is refreshing... The signature is awful. It's flat, uses too broad a spectrum of colours and the font is dire, and not placed anywhere properly. The render isn't saturated enough compared to the background and isn't blended, or at least interacts with it. It's just 3 basic layers, too simple.

This really requires a knowledge of RuneScape, most people here haven't played in a while.

'Real magenta' and 'real cyan' are produced by a computer screen. You would never find those true colours in nature. The naturally produced cyan is much more subdued. Computer cyan is the mix of the light-produced RGB, so it can become very vivid. RGB was invented for computer screens anyway, the colours will never properly match real life. Even when printing you have to be careful, a colour on screen may come out much differently on paper.

I studied your post for like 10 minutes and I still don't fully understand it. But the RGB is based on light, whilst CMYK is based on colour. If you take a red, green and blue light and shine them together it makes white. Take the same colours you'll get a sloppy brown thing (black is used because sloppy brown has limited uses). Remember RGB is designed for screens, CMYK for printing. That's where the difference lies. A monitor uses a combo of red green and blue lights to make up the image. A piece of paper doesn't use light, the colours are physically there.

Couldn't see a topic on the front page, I assume if there were it would be on there. So Green Day's new album came out today. I'm going to be all fan boy and call it the greatest thing ever created by man, since I'm not a 14 year old American girl. It's an interesting album. I think it sounds something similar to Warning (released in 2000, GD's least selling album so far) which was very mellow, slower and more thoughtful overall, although some songs like Minority still had the classic Green Day sound. Warning has sold the least commerically, but I think it's one of their better albums, with more musicianship and experimenting with sounds and instruments and deviating from their usual sound. The album is also the follow on from American Idiot (2004), and many will assume it's going to be exactly the same. Granted, it's still political and questions religion and other authority, but it has a different feel from American Idiot. I think 21st Century Breakdown is an amalgamation of the subdued tone of Warning and the core message of American Idiot. Some tracks like Know Your Enemy are simple and catchy, akin to American Idiot (the song), while others are complex and challenging, such as ¿Viva La Gloria? (Little Girl), which sounds very similar, rhymically and vocally, to the tracks Misery and Deadbeat Holiday from Warning. Overall it's a more difficult to receive than past albums, I think a lot of people will have problems with listening to it. Myself included, I consider myself a diehard fan of all their past music. There's not a song on any of their past studio albums that I don't like, don't know the words to or don't know the music to. This is my first Green Day album that's come out since I've been listening to them, as I only heard them after American Idiot was released, and since then have all their albums etc. I can say that I'm not taken with all the tracks, although some I'm now addicted to after only a few listens. I'm sure some of the songs need an acquired taste to appreciate them, which I haven't developed yet. Add a new gradient map in photoshop, and use a gold colour on one side and a purple/puce colour on the other. Toggle the reverse box to see which one looks better, then hit OK. Set the blend mode to overlay, and adjust the opacity to taste.

If you have an issue take it up with an admin. Locked.

What browser are you using? Is this only happening on RuneScape or any page you try to load? It sounds like a memory leak, which is bascially when a programme doesn't remove memory it doesn't need anymore, so it builds up and up over time. Try reinstalling your browser, trying a different browser or updating your browser if possible. If it's only a RuneScape issue try reinstalling Java.

No reason to keep this open, it's degenerating back into the old topic. Rest assured we are discussing a revision of the rules, and we'll let you know by way of global announcement or similar when we make a final decision. Like meol said, it's a pain to come up with a decent, failsafe rule that doesn't make it awkward for moderators to determine if the signature in question is breaking the rules or not. Sad to say it, but Linkin Park was my first exposure to all rock/metal etc. Led Zeppelin got me into more classic/respectable stuff.
