This one feels very unorthodox, compared to the other Bond films. Quantum of Solace... it just doesn't feel like a Bond film title. Neither does the theme music. Perhaps this is the new direction for the films, we'll see.

I think if you're planning to go into a career with computer graphics, or anything related to that industry, you shouldn't be using anything else but Photoshop. You'd never find a job description asking for experience with GIMP. If you're an amateur user just interested in the odd photo retouch, then GIMP is perfect.

Well Tip.It isn't a clan, so I don't see the point of us having a pvp world/location. We'd just get crashed and routed by other sites (mainly RSC) and the big clans.

How does sugar solution stength solution affect osmosis? I did that in Year 10. Basically you get x amount of bits of raw potato, all the same size. Weigh them. Sumerge each one in a sugar solution, each one in a different strength solution from pure water to 100% sugar solution. After a week, take them out, dry them a bit to get the excess water off, and weigh them. Then compare the data of before and after to see how much water has been drawn out due to osmosis. Although this experiment is on the biology gcse curriculum, so it's probably a bad idea to copy it.

I have this same problem. I'm using FireFox 3, and it crashes anytime I come across a java app. On RuneScape I can't even get to the login, it crashes when it tries to load the world.

It's not just the words you say. Making lots of eye contact with as many people as possible, alternating your pitch of voice for variation, hand gestures and smiling will get you half way there already. As for the speech itself, like deloriagod said, using rhetorical questions as a beginning is a good starting point. Use short sentences as well. Not constant strings of 4 word sentences, but make them concise and to the point. People will stop paying attention if you start waffling on for ages. Structure your speech in clear sections of the same topic. Sounds obvious, but it will help to keep the audience understanding where you are. Another thing about keeping the audience in the right position, use discourse markers. Things like 'firstly....', 'however...' or 'to conclude...' etc allow the audience to follow exactly where you are in terms of your progression through your speech.

My God that's an improvement from the old version: I remember when I downloaded GIMP once, I actually felt patronized by the large buttons.
