    Magic

I was pretty sure it was only with magic too.
  2. Mith>KBD>Steel>Wvyrn>Iron>Black Also, do brutal greens drop them?
  3. I think the only things that it may affect slightly are godswords (due to people trying once and finding out they're overrated for training) and rares because people will just pay the 30k to another player to borrow for a day.
  4. Table of Contents 1.0. Introduction 2.0. Requirements 3.0. Strategy 4.0. Experience per Hour 5.0. Profit 6.0. FAQ 7.0. Closing Introduction After reading many different topics in Help and Advice on how to do Pyramid Plunder I've decided to create my own guide for it. Being a 99 thief I think I'm aptly qualified. I feel that through my methods you can receive the best of xp/hr as well as make some profit. Requirements -At least 51 thieving. Before this it is not worth the effort. -A Pharoah's sceptre. This will be used on every run. -Several Hundred Dueling Rings/Glories and Super Anti-poisons. -Cheap food. This doesn't matter as long as it heals u fairly quickly. -I recommend starting Itchlarin's Little Helper in case you forget a teleport at some point. Strategy -Inventory and Equipment You should have your Sceptre equipped along with a dueling ring, and any kind of light clothing you want. I also wore an Amulet of Nature so I could follow my crops as I plundered. Your inventory should contain one(1)Super Anti, and about 50 hp worth of food. -Inside the Pyramid Once you are ready to plunder, right click and operate your sceptre, and teleport to Jalsavrah which is the top choice. Now drink your anti-poison, and right click on the guardian mummy to start the mini-game. Once inside, deactivate the wall trap, and proceed to pick lock the four doors until you find the correct one to move onto the next room. Continue doing this until you reach the room one BELOW the highest room you may enter. Once there, right click to check, and then search the urns. Eat when necessary, but don't waste too much time doing so. When you feel you have just enough time to finish all of the urns in your final room, loot the golden chest, but skip the sarcophagus(it wastes too much time) and leave the second to last room. Do the same thing in the final room, and when finished, loot the golden chest, and this time attempt to steal from the sarcophagus. If you finish the final room too early, it means you can spend more time in the second to last room. -Once You're Finished After you are kicked out of the pyramid when your five minutes are up, you should now eat to heal if you haven't, and teleport with your dueling ring to castle wars. Bank all trinkets at the chest, and withdraw more food. Now you are ready to go back to the pyramid. Once your sceptre is down to one charge left, withdraw 12 stone or 24 pottery trinkets and then teleport to the pyramid. When there talk to the mummy and eventually you will ask about recharging the sceptre. Experience per Hour -At level 51 you will receive ~40,000xp/hr -At level 61 you will receive ~70,000xp/hr -At level 71 you will receive ~100,000xp/hr -At level 81 you will receive ~150,000xp/hr -At level 91 you will receive ~210,000xp/hr -These rates will vary depending on how familiar you are with the mini-game as well as how much you are paying attention. I have received upwards of 230kxp/hr as well as as little as 180k/hr at the highest level room. Profits The main thing that will earn you profits in this mini-game is the very rare pharaoh's sceptre. Only available from the golden chest, or sarcophagus, it is worth ~500k. A more consistent amount of money will come from the trinkets you take in each game. The stone one's will sell on the G.E. for between 100-200gp ea while the gold ones will range from 500-100gp ea. If you have finished the quest Dealing with Scarabas you can sell these noted to Simon Templeton at the Agility Pyramid for even higher prices. FAQ Q: What are the chances of me getting a Pharoah's Sceptre? A: Very very low. I went all the way to 99 Thieving without receiving a single one. Q: You say a minimum of 51 thieving, but when do you recommend starting? A: Although I started straight from 51, I realized that it would make more sense to wait until level 71. Closing Thoughts The main thing about this is that it is a mini-game, and should be fun. Don't kill yourself trying to powerlevel. So mainly try to have fun, and hope you get more lucky than I did with the Pharaoh's Sceptres. :)
  5. anyone who says Pc product is an idiot. You go to the new Pc and get to 90 hp, seriously go try, its hard. So I say 9.5/10 cause I prolly will never get that level.
  6. Now, I know the main reason most people camp here is the very very small chance that you may get a d chain. Although that is in the back of my mind, the main reason I would want to camp here is for what I hear is pretty good range xp, and a large amount of crimson charms. So, my question is, how much range xp would I expect at my lvl(62 with rune c-bow,mith bolts)? and also, what is the drop-rate for charms?
  7. Broken plate is what I'd go with, although we'll never know how many there are. It's junk like a half wine, but it's not worth ~30m. This of course is excluding the untrimmed slayer cape, which probably is the rarest item in the games existence.
  8. Well, using your example of farming, I would say that I am self sufficient. I tried growing tree's once, and gave up. I have gotten all the way to level 68 growing mostly just Ranarr's and on and off sweetcorn.
  9. banshee's that are level 20 somethin in the slayer tower?
  10. I don't think that any capes should be considered "dirt" but some should be given more respect than others. If I see a 65 with a trimmed fletching cape I'll put my money on him being a second account of somebody, and the trim on the cape is from cooking. That doesn't mean that he shouldn't get respect for those capes, but I would most definetly give more if he had some other kind of cape. BTW: How is WC an easy 99? Anyone?
  11. Any idea on how to "slowly impliment" this update? Not like they could limit the amount of players to get the update.
  12. I think it's going to be another massive crash that seems to have to happen every so often. World 1 and 2 are at 1300 right now and keep dropping.
  13. Umm I thought we were past the "Summoning doesn't matter" stage since the second update. Everyones "real" combat level is the level they are. Their f2p lvl is completely seperate.
  14. Yet you're only 88 ranged? Nice, but that extra 28m xp coulda gone towards that.
  15. Thank you for ur hard work. When smoking kills came out and i didnt know what the deal was yet i didnt know where else to go.
  16. Even after the skill comes out people are still getting stuff wrong. IT WAS NEVER GOING TO BE RELEASED TO HUNTER AS SMITHING IS TO MINING. READ
  17. Ok i tried to make my pouches for the dreadfowl with the undead raw chicken and it doesn't work. what the hecks with that. I mean in the game its still labeled raw chicken. I find it rediculous.
  18. Wow good thing i switched to thieving, I almost make as much money off of the trinkets as i would off of the yews.
  19. Well currently im going for 99 thieving and ill say that seeing as i can get 120k xp an hour and after one mroe lvl 160k xp an hour. Plus i hadnt realized how fiew thieving capes where out there. There are less then 4k. Its quite a rare cape.
  20. New hunter monsters? If ur talking about the ones from summoning, THERE ARENT ANY because summoning is not to hunter as smithing is to mining.
  21. hah this wasnt me but my one friend went pking(back in the olden days before bh) and he was sitting with full varrocks and a zerker ring or somethin along those lines and this like 95 pops up and hits like 20-20 with range so he switches to black dhide. the guy gets outta dds and specs him 20-27 and hes saved with 1hp. Luckily unpoisoned.
  22. Hands down P2P can u imagine all the f2p ppl getiing ice barraged. Plus how many truly high lvl f3p accounts are there. Most are pures so yeah, p2p wins and should.
  23. Taking out the idea of ur attitude as a player im going to take a different look at this. In runescape I see no true skill needed. There are a few specialized things such as dueling and pking which are just now being recognized in the high scores. Other than that all it takes to be a good rs player is dedication. So that is my one word definition of a good player in runescape.
