It is the core principle of all fighting games. Do more damage to the opponent than the opponent does to you. However, the impact on Brawl is more than you expect, due to the lack of hitstun and combos. Obviously, there is character strength, matchups, and advanced techniques put into play, but the core principle determines the player's skill the most. (Not the fighter's.) Edit: This sounds confusing when I re-read it... :roll:

Care to elaborate on mindgames? At least someone finally admits that Brawl isn't a technical game. Mindgames is an extremely general term, which usually refers to predicting the opponent, while being unpredictable yourself. This allows you to follow the most important saying in Brawl. "Don't get hit."

Final Smashes were built so unbalanced that it sucks the fun out for me. 1 with the Space animals/Sonic and you lose a life, for sure. It has the exact same properties and effects as a regular item. It's just too random and unbalanced.

Well to shed some light on some bias I see here, Brawl really isn't a technical game, due to the lack of hitstun. Priority is also in Brawl as well, so Street fighter is not more complicated in that matter, although the Super armor/Invincibility frames Ray is talking about are exactly what they sound like; you are invincible for a few frames, although you take damage. I'll say it again. Brawl is NOT all that technical. It has more to do with what we call mindgames.

Well being the best Brawler here I can honestly say that Brawl isn't close to a button mash game, although it may seem to (and actually may be) a kiddy one. I've never really got into SF so I can't say much about it... although I am pretty damn good at Tekken. :) Edit: About Random Number Generators... I don't know exactly what that is, but if you're referring to random-ness, there aren't any really game changing at all.

Well it depends... if they can reach you in any way, then it's not cheating and your opponents are just plain stupid. If you are in an untouchable place, then that's called stalling and it is banned. But seeing that it's a FFA I guess stalling and the like aren't really banned. :XD:

Don't stop there! Get 69. regardless of what Kent says, it is the best healer in my honest opinion, and I'm currently level 80. best of bosses atleast, a bit of overkill for slayer. It really does give good HP recovery/minute, possibly enough to match up to the Unicorn. It really is time consuming and annoying to use especially at bosses... I have quit Runescape (most likely for good)... Not sure where to say it so I'll stick it here. :ohnoes:

I'd say the only thing that can protect you from the drill rush is shielding. Or a high priority attack which cancels out the Drill Rush. Works for Mach Tornado too. I can't think of any off the top of my head, but I think some variations of Dancing Blade work. You mean like Ike's Fsmash? MK's priority is off the roof considering his speed... You really can't outprioritize MK especially due to his high speed. The way you cancel MK's Tornado is by hitting on top or below, which are the weak points of the tornado. (No hitbox there) As for drill rush, it's a weak move. Shield, punish; it's that simple. I havn't posted in TIF let alone the Brawl club in a while now... Gallade, just post links.

I think the answer to this question is Agility, Farming, Runecraft/Mining, and Combat. You can buy all your materials and make money fastest with the above skills. Do nothing else but make money and train fast. But that's no fun. ;)

It's hard to believe the GS is better at Bandos... but maybe it could be a possibility, I guess... I would have to see some hard proof, though.

Well there is a way you can perfect that calculator, and that would be to insert your money/hour, and your combat stats/hour and see how many charms you can obtain from your preferred method, and calculate which Pouch would be best to create... Guess that calculator isn't as useful as I thought :XD: Oh well, I guess it's semi-useful until Talon beats.

Wow, that calculator is pretty useful. I can't say anymore, except that you're best saving your blues... And I have a question to Toast or anybody who knows. How do they determine what "efficiency" is in that calculator?

It's not really comparing apples to oranges, as they are doing the same thing, and that is combat. There really is nowhere that Bandos/Dragon doesn't beat dragon. I mean there is none.

I wouldn't use HD when regular is that laggy.

Lava titans -> Ice titans are a decent choice because it allows you to get there quick. I've never tested and compared any familiars though, so I may be completely off...
