  1. He's right, Rune defenders are even better than DFS while training. And d legs sucks, use Verac's/torags. Don't worry, it should only cost 1-2k/hour training if you're just using legs.
  2. This math isn't really correct because you can always sell the stuff once you use them. However, the food and potions itself will make up for the losses, especially because nobody uses Torag's legs/helmet, which was included in your math.
  3. I didnt know you could get untrimmed summoning cape when getting to 99 magic, attack, strength, and defense by collecting the charms... Couple thousand before 99 is almost the exact same thing... and you still keep the untrimmed. I'm pretty sure this is what the OP meant.
  4. Why not buy around ~100-150k shards and trade them in for 70%, and repeat?
  5. Aren't they called discontinued and not rares?
  6. It also depends which prayer... And bandits are outdated.
  7. With your stats, this is by far the best option I heard. Remember, the xp is great as well, and it has no learning curve, unlike GOP.
  8. It tells you how long to 99 or to your next log. Well... what's the use? You can just take 30 seconds and check a calculator once...
  9. Obby rings, 10% prayer, void, and uni will score more xp, which will actually lead in more money.
  10. Thanks for trying, but the reason I need it pre-HD is because I'm very, very sure that they used to be larger than normal boots. Unfortunately, they are obscured in just the wrong places... :C I think I need a side view. I just got a pair and was disappointed to see that they're now just a light gray version of any normal leather/lightness/Canafis boots. And the hat looks different in that picture too... Aren't the horns the same size now? I'm fairly sure they've always been the same size as regular boots. The horns have definitely changed - they're no longer asymmetric. Here's a comparison picture if it helps. Taken a few minutes ago. (If anyone has any idea why any image of any size I display on TIF turns out just a little bit blurry, I would be grateful) Well, in that pic, the boots does seem bigger... And you're saving it as PNG, so I don't know why it's fuzzy. It doesn't seem fuzzy to me, though.
  11. For starters, switch your Fighter torso with Torag's top, and you'll see a huge difference. Then, replace Uni's with a Combat familiar (srsly.) Bring Guthan's and an inv of Pineapple pizzas, and you'll kill it faster then you would with a uni and fighter torso, I promise. ;)
  12. Go with the Proselyte, but why would you want to kill Irons...?
  13. In a blunt way, they suck for camping.
  14. Fastest would be using a Cannon while safespotting + Ranging... If you're not Ranging, I would use Chaos tunnels and use a Combat familiar.
  15. Well if we're talking about Slayer, we don't lose anything that can't be gained with Guthan's/higher quality food, which is a lot faster in the end. Combat familiars are extremely underrated, and Bunyip are overrated. I've been saying this for months now, Combat familiars are great.
  16. Players' defence are that low? Then how come people use verac's for PvP? What do you mean? Claws are more accurate, period - defence has nothing to do with it. Veracs are beaten by whip + defender for everything except torag\DFS tanks and prayer. Godswords outhit whips at high-defence monsters like black dragons and dark beasts. That a high-level player with good armor would have lower defence than said monsters is surprising to me. Wrong. Common myth. Whip + defender beats godsword at bosses (high defence) and maxed defence tank players (higher defence still). The only thing godsword has going for it is easier prayer switching, which isn't an issue if your experienced. Sorry, but this is a bit hard to believe...
  17. What does maging have to do with defense? Sorry, I'm a bit confused... (no sarcasm)
  18. Why was there 0 response to this correct answer...?
  19. I don't see how this is suited for general discussion... we don't need another 'zormg drop rate nerf!' thread there, lol. Yeah, this is definitely the case here. Get a larger sample size and it'll balance *somewhere* around 1:1
  20. Broads aren't ideal, Obsidian rings are. Given, they cost a hell of a lot of money, but they are the ideal Range weapons.
  21. I would avoid both, as you'd make far more money and xp at Green dragons/Armoured zombies.
  22. first of all i can do as i please he he and secondly they can be used in most situations and thirdly most of the situations that you cant u are near or in a bank and dont really need extra spaces in my opinion you are trying to make an already easy game even easier not to mention lazier Wtf are you talking about? He wasnt asking for more invo spots. Secondly, please dont talk about stuff you dont know anything about. (ever heard of healing and fighting familiars?) *sigh, firemaking/cooking noobs these days...* [/hide] lol too bad this whole thing is the opinions of adding a few inventory slots and if ur using a fighter or healer then why would u want to make it easier by adding inventory slots i think 28 is more then plenty and dont think im a noob for liking somewhat of a challenge and if u read a few posts up he is mentioning how i said get summoning up for bob slots and am not the only one to mention them so please read before u get a little harsh i do admit i did kinda misread but him but i was mostly talking about the bob thing Either way, BoB slots would do no use while you train skills, as the time it takes to open them up generally isn't worth it... and for combat, it's not worth it at all in most cases. Honestly, it really is like comparing apples and oranges.
  23. The cost of Graahk is negligible, it's the per hour that counts, really.
