  1. You should only flax pick if your a low level, as it will only net you around 100k/h MAX. Well you can pick 3-4k at Lleyta, which is very decent money.
  2. The ONLY way to GE merchant succesfully in F2P is if you find your own item... nobody who finds an item is going to share it, it's all about monopoly.
  3. Making money isn't that hard... The whip is just too good.
  4. What? I use Barrows. Very cheap (5k repairs an hour) and it seriously gives huge benefits. Plus, it saves money from food, and time from banking. It's THE best armor choice, along with a Whip and a Rune defender. For the record: DFS and Godswords are extremely bad choices while Slayer. Bandos is a decent one, though.
  5. My siggy will have the answer.
  6. No, it's not even close to fast... unless you're comparing it to Runecrafting or something.
  7. Lighthouse with cannon is better than the CT.
  8. I used Piety + Karils the whole way, and used Pray mage against the boss. I had no troubles.
  9. You are not factoring in the time it takes to get the clay axes. So you wouldn't have to cut 2 times faster with a Dragon Axe. Also, I don't know what Runescape you are playing but last I checked it was easier and faster to buy a Dragon axe through G.E. then it was to get enough SC points to buy enough axes for 99 wc. Like Kent said, they take to long to get for the short amount of life they have for them to be considered useful. The only SC items that are worth their time are the Hammer and Needle so far from what I have seen and heard. You can always play the game as a pastime activity and gain the points at the same time with your main intention not being getting the Axes, but enjoying the game instead. Then, in my opinion, the time taken to gain the axes should not be counted in. No, it would still be counted in. This may make the inefficient choice more preferable, but it's still inefficient.
  10. If you're going to pickpocket, do menaphite thugs.
  11. I agree with UP being one of Jagex's best quests ever. It's definetely not something I'd do again, though...
  12. Did you ever consider how helpful the extra defense could be? Higher defense means less time Guthaning, which results in faster kills. Bunyip means super slow xp, as you don't get to use a combat familiar. Also, if you don't need defense, why not use Proselyte?
  13. You copy and paste this in every topic with this question don't you. But he speaks the truth.
  14. After timing several of his techniques (runcrafting, hunter, mining and construction) I found his methods to be way to quick and not good for me as an average of my own rates. No matter how good his techniques are, don't use his numbers for a longterm average rate, unless you've actually achieved them yourself. I know all of his numbers require super attention and perfect runs etc... I was just stating it *is* possible to get 70k xp. Also, if you do all your samples with perfect runs, the relative rates will still be the same. Uhm yes but we aren't perfect, so don't expect to get "perfect" runs EVER..- Things that require more attention suffer much, much more from this than other things: monkfish you can fish almost "perfectly" continuasly: slmon is a lot harder, now power mining is even worse (I don't get even half the so called "perfect xp").. while writing my post, I was actually thinking just the same, but was too lazy to add :D You are very right indeed. I myself have also just did monks out of easyness. While paying very few attention, I've gotten nearly max xp possible, with monks. I was talking to Zarfot (and reading his posts) and apparently he knocks off a couple k xp for all his rates due to "distractions." I would say you don't have to be perfect or even near that to obtain his rates, but you definetely have to pay attention.
  15. I used to play it on my Vista and it ran fine, too.
  16. In this last week I discovered this award goes to the Fighter torso.
  17. Low detail, just what I'm used to and what I think Runescape's graphics should be. But that's just me.
  18. Gargoyles and Warped monsters... requires you to click far too much.
  19. !) Kent 2) Captain Falcon 3) Chuck Norris
  20. Besides the above options, I remind you how much faster Whip is on controlled...

Second laser will come out instantly and produce no landing lag. I know, but how's it help as opposed to just firing one laser? The first thing misses everyone except the tallest characters anyway. It's faster, you have much more options so it's less punishable, and you can somewhat combo into it.

Falco has his down throw chain grab, then D-air [bleep]e to finish you, but that really isn't a secret. Nor unescapable. So your friend's lying, or doesn't know what he's talking about. 3 tricks I can remember now are... 1) If you press b twice really fast when doing the illusion, you can do a short illusion, which is pretty useful at times. 2) For falco, you can short hot, wait, and do a double laser. This is CRAZY, but it's hard to do. :( If you think you did it, check by seeing if your last shot makes a sound or not. It shouldn't. 3) The chaingrab does own though, use and abuse it.
  23. Wow, nice.
