What are your opinions on no-lifing?
I think it's fine, and that people can find their balance. It's funny that I have an extreme "life" and an extreme "no-life". For example, today I spent 7 hours (8 am to 3 pm) playing tennis and then I got home, had lunch, and played RuneScape until around 10.

What has Runescape taught you in rl?
More medieval knowledge, to type faster, and that knives don't work as weapons.

ULTIMATE Monster hunting guide - Mithril dragons âš©
Finally! A guide without a fist of guthix base. I was thinking I'd have to make one.

100% F2P: An Achievement?
I view it sort of like being a pure. Some people really take pride in that they can do something with no defense. Some players like to say they have maxed combat and got it on a free to player server only.

What lurks behind the frozen door, click here to see.
Is it just me, because I think that's what is behind the mithril door.

Runescape in the mmorpg community
I guess RuneScape could be considered that. Everyone I've talked to about RuneScape that plays WoW is completely biased. Same with the other way around. I guess I have to agree that you can't beat your first.

Real life NPC's
Interesting... I always figured Martin Thwait as Mark Twain, who wrote Huckleberry Fin. That kid sure got into trouble a fair amount.

Most original username!
Well... I could believe it when I saw it, but about a month or two ago, when I was pking on my pure, I saw a level 43 player called Ranger. No numbers, no spaces, just Ranger

What level did YOU do dragon slayer
Leve 43, with only a rune long, adamant plate, and dragonfire shield. With an inventory of lobsters. I went kamakazi on it. It also helps that the guy before me had to tele on it whne it was at a little more than half ... so I still got the kill :P

The Ultimate Aviansie Slaying Guide
Very well written guide, and I too have kill aviansie for money. They are quite good money, however I have a way where you don't need to use prayor potions. This helps give you maximum profit form your drops Equipment: Verac Helm Ava's Accumulator Holy Symbol/Unholy Symbol or Sara/Zammy Stole 300 mithril bolts or better Rune C'bow Karil's Leathertop or Black d'hide top Zammy/Sara book depending on amulet Verac Plateskirt Barrows Gloves Dragon Boots Wealth. In your inventory, all you have to bring is 3 airs, 3 fires, and 3 law runes, then the rest with food. Then just kill away, same stradegy as yours, you just use prayor when you're being teamed. I find this to profit more. Hope it helps.

Be patient young lad!
I did the quest at 53 agility. Simply because of a good ol' agility potion. Had to bring like 10 (4) of them though

runescape is polluted
I know this problem, which is why i chose for it to help me, rather than hurt me. There are many things you can do which will make the anme caller mad, rahter than yourself. There's always, "Right back atcha" which can be fun, but for free-to-play pking, i have a magic/melee pker. He has 35 magic, 34 strength, 20 attack, and 5 defense (that makes them mad). When someone says "no magic you noob" just reply "no melee" When someone says "Mages are noobs" just reply "So you're a noob?" Just use no logic what-so-ever and keep with it. Knowing them, they'll want to win the arguement no matter what. Just keep coming up with horrid facts and comebacks, and eventually they'll go away. and if you're fighting them, if they're typing a lot, try ot ko them. F.Y.I. I have better information than i used up there, but it works i'm telling ya.

Chinchompa "Release" button..
Wow this is very funny, no not you situation, the fact that i read you post on the RSOF. I say that everyone's answer was bank, or just hold one in your inventory. Both i say are things that i probably would've done. But not that that matters. You're definetly right about the release button. There should be a warning of some sort, just like a fighter torso, quest item, or something else of the type. I must say though, i will never buy chimpopas, mostly because of the reason that they're an exploding dart. But hey, the hunter skill helped another skill, which is good in my book.

Longsword Versus Scimitar

WTF no more B-Staveing!!!!
Take forever to find a world where there are battlestaves in stock? no? when i crafted battled staves, i'd go to varrock, yup, varrock on member worlds and they always had a nice stock waiting for me  so i don't think anything is going to change

Longsword Versus Scimitar
Which do you think is better, the Longsword or the Scimitar? Below I will compare the two in the dragon form. Dragon Longsword: +58 Stab +0 +69 Slash +3 -2 Crush +2 +0 Range +0 +0 Magic +0 Speed - 5 Strength Bonus - 71 Dragon Scimitar +8 Stab +0 +67 Slash +1 -2 Crush +0 +0 Range +0 +0 Magic +0 Speed - 6 Strength Bonus - 66 So as you can see from the top, the Dragon Longsword in exchange for 1 speed has 5 strength bonus, 2 slash, and some defensive bonuses. It can also stab with some effectiveness unlike the scimitar. Also for the specials. Dragon Longsword has it so that it does an increased damage to the opponent. The Scimitar has it so that it takes away protection prayors of your opponent (pvp only) for 5 seconds. Which do you think is better? (Can't keep up :P ) Also I would like to add that this isn't about how most people carry around a dragon dagger or a dragon battle axe for there special. I didn't make this thread to show exp rates or anything, I just wanted to know which one do you honestly think is better. (Kinda) Kind of like if you were stuck in (enter hard place here) With only one weapon, would you pick longsword or scimitar?

Higher Level Magic Spells are ... wait ... Worse?
Why that's true about the experience, my real point was that higher level runes are expensive, so then if lower runes higher more often, that makes them better. That makes no sense. In other terms, are rune arrows better than mithril? Are dragon longswords better than rune longswords? Yes.

Higher Level Magic Spells are ... wait ... Worse?
I just recently read throughtout another boring look-through the runescape manual something that caught my attention. "The higher level spells are more likely to fail, but as your Magic level improves, you will cast spells more successful each time." - Runescape Manual, Skills, Magic, Basics. Why is this! This is madness if you as me. It's saying that If i were to cast 10 Ice Barrages, and then 10 Ice Bursts, more bursts would hit. Another way to think about this is, you can avoid bloods altogether. What's the point of using fire wave if slayer darts (Which has only 1 less max hit) hits almost as well but more often? I actually went around runescape asking totally random people over level 90 which spell is smarter to use, fire wave or slayer dart, for killing any monster, considering you had unlimited runes. 8 to 1 said that they'd use fire wave. Would you after you've read this?

Are Party Hats and Other Rares Going Extinct?
I can't believe it, you all believe that people are dropping their phats on videos, I find if obvious what they're doing. If they use any kind of camara, they can drop it, pause the camara, pick it up, restart the camara, and viola! the phat "dissapears." I'm sure some fools think they're wise enough to raise the price by dropping their phat, but all in all, most fake it
