  1. Thank you, I can finally comment on this thread. It looks good to be honest but I think his face could use slightly more detail. That's the only opinion I can give you as I have no experience with vectors.
  2. Looks great, looks like the spatter filter from photoshop but made in paint, gives it a nice noisy feel in it. By the way have any tips on making a really smooth text in MS paint like you have there? I want to pixel the text my self (on a current wip) but I always get these jagged egdes and using photoshop feels like cheating for me.
  3. Little I think that's a cross as in a cross in a pile of earth "as in a grave". Painting looks decent but the human in there looks weird, too pale in my opinion even if hes further away (unless it's a lot of mist...).
  4. 1. Looks really bland as it's a lot of white in there and the smudging looks a bit too rough for this kind of render/background blending. Also do I see scanlines in there? Ruins the flow. 2. Feels like the C4d only is a foreground effect, I see that you made a part of it go behind his head but left out the lower right of his body. The smudging of his body to get out some colour looks a bit stainy and not like ordinary smudging, I would call it "smoke" but it's still quite messy. Not really a fan of the signatures, I think you should try something new to be honest, the grungy style doesn't fit for foreground and it gives you a lot of white duo the layer settings your using, I can imagine that it get's too dark without using that specific layer setting right? 1F. Way too busy, it's eye candy but wouldn't work good as a fractal unless it's used only for a background effect combined with smudging (In my opinion). 2F. A lot better, not as busy and I think this one could go quite well if used in a signature, It flows in all directions which is good as you can just take a part of it to match the flow in your signature. Messy C/c is the win I guess. PS: Jin > All.
  5. I can agree with this one man. I have the emulator on my DS, and it's [bleep] difficult. Anyways I'll also nominate N+. Lost levels wasn't too hard but of course that's my opinion. I agree with you about N+, it's quite challenging but I think the PSP version is a lot easier than the original flash version.
  6. It's quite decent but yet again Shiny, your current smudging doesn't work well for effects, it looks stained now beecause you smudged a couple of layers above the C4D, It's OK as it is but it looks rushed.
  7. Woah you improved nicely on the last two . 7. The effects are well done but I think the render have a black glow around it which doesn't help with the blending. The flow is "OK" but it could be better, the direction is a bit off at the moment. nice use of blue colours but I think it could be slightly more of it specially on the left side. Background is ok but it looks it look a bit weird at the top (around the render) try making it it like clouds.
  8. dsavi? could you remove me, I don't have time anymore.
  9. 1a. Download PhotoShop CS3 1b. Download Gimp 2. play around using different tools, while learning them. 3. Use tutorials from sites such as deviantart. I'm sorry to say if you want to increase your "image editing" skills you really can't stay on paint.net as it limits you by a lot. As for the pictures they look too simple, a motion blur? I can't say it looks too good, it's just simple and doesn't take any time at all. And about the last picture, that's ripping.
  10. Urges me to order a A4 one :ohnoes:. I can't really say that the plane looks to good, you used too much white for shading in my opinion, I think it could look better if you used darker colours for shading? The thing I like about it is the shape, it's quite good looking , maybe a little short but not really a issue. And I haven't been online on msn for a while because I don't have time anymore, I'm also going to make one last signature and leave the community while working on my own for a while, hopefully developing a new style, learning how to use a tablet and how to make techno remixes (And hopefully a completely new song using a melody I made). I'll give more info why on my next thread but I can just say "bye" for now, Thanks for everything Charlie I really owe you everything.
  11. Me hates joo naow.
  12. Looks like hes farting to be honest -.-. Effects looks great, I really like the right side, you smudged a line and warped it right?
  13. Thanks for all the C/C, I'll skip the personal part again as I have about 6 persons in the same room.
  14. 30ish minutes, Rate/Hate, I have around 8 persons reading my message here so I'll skip the personal part.
  15. I'll try the escape one, wish me luck.
  16. The pawn looks great but the head looks slightly inflated (As you mentioned), also I think it's a bit too glossy for a chess piece, I suggest making a pale version, would work nicely for the opposite side.
  17. The lightning is seriously messed up on most of them :|, either you don't have any lightning at all or it's really making the render bland but everything else except the points that's already mentioned looks great.
  18. Looks pretty good but I can't really see how it would work as a playable map as it's a long cave :P but you mentioned it as artistic and I agree with that .
  19. That's not true and what do you mean with other platforms? The DS? The DS have tons of bad games but it also have it's batch with actually good games same goes for the PSP. The homebrew scene is also larger on the PSP even if the DS have a few but really good homebrews it doesn't beat the PSP on that point. Also we should talk about the overall functions, watch images, movies, play music without getting customfirmware, on the DS you need to get some kind of special pack to play music. So there are no points to get a PSP?
  20. HawtOr, N' it's take not Teak joo ruinscape noob. *cough* Looks pretty awesome but my part ruins it :wall:.
  21. Meh, need to download it :S. Could you pm me the original smuge settings for the tutorial as I use my new ones for it and of course you'll get credit as it's your style :P. By the way I lost my paper with my 3 elite smudge settings -.-, I'm so sad .
  22. Nooooo! :( I can't get hold of Charlie so I can't ask him for permisson, so no tutorial here either.
  23. I got my slim a month ago so I know how you feel -.- luckily you don't lose anything major except the screen.
  24. Jopie, best C/C ever, Thank you, can't express it with words.
  25. I'll post it now so you don't have to wait on me later on, I'll repost a updated version if I mange later on.
