  1. I suggest only using, screen, lightning, darken, colour dodge, linear dodge. It's too much colours that clash at the moment, try looking up complementary (s?) colours.
  2. Rape/hate pl0x. Constructive criticism please.
  3. I'd say that she isn't able to handle criticism properly as I personally think it's pretty spot on and informative on what she have to work with. She might have found it too blunt though but you can't really blame yourself for that.
  4. A bit too much black for me. What's the thing that's bottomleft of the focal? Doesn't look like you didn't do anything to the focal, decent compsition but the size of him kind of ruins it (The things he have on his back). By the way, continue and master this style or I'll eat your toes *Awkward smile*.
  5. Yes there is actually, checked around last time I visited England, most of the laptops had really low end graphics cards though. Never asked a clerk though.
  6. Just don't start everything at once.
  7. Loving the scetchy look, reminds me of Okami. Should be tad smaller though in my opinion (So it doesn't go out on the arm).
  8. Vista 64-bit makes Photoshop lightning fast Sam . If you render fractals with Gimp, make a dualboot with ubunte and it'll be lightning fast as well.
  9. I'm looking for a new gaming laptop from a retailer/onlinestore in the UK, My budget is (up to) 1250 GBP. I was thinking of using it as a desktop replacement, so I'm looking for around +4gb Ram (Max on most?) for image/video editing programs, a high-end graphics card for games and preferably a 17 inch screen with high resolution. Had problems to find one online as they either had some kind of flaw (usually graphics card). Thanks in advance. PS: Lower taxes in the UK than Sweden  .
  10. Keep reading until you get multiple ideas on how to blend your focal, also try to pick renders/focal points that are interesting not just standing there, they have to wave a arm or (Roughly) it'll look weird when you attempt to blend.
  11. My point was that it's hard to make it look good and to get good quality renders/stocks. Looks like any other generic beginner style though. Playing around is more like you just have fun with it, experimenting is when you actually try to get something out of it meanwhile. Low opacity + blur is quite meh. Use one of them, it looks weird using both unless your some gosu at composition.
  12. Considering that you added "Rate / Hate", "My first pixel, etc. I assumed you considered yourself done. My greatest apologies. PS: add [WIP] to your topic.
  13. How much for that print on a white T-shirt?

Smudge, abstract, where a C4D is the focal? I dunno, something different. Go onto Sublime or PR and rip some styles :twss: Something simple would do it.
  15. The eye look like semen.
  16. 10 minutes in paint count as doodle, a pixel on the other hand is something you've put down a lot of work in.
  17. Combining the smudgetool and a raccoon picture does not yield profit.
  18. Blurred the bottom-left of the C4D too much.
  19. Use smaller canvases to start with, it's a lot harder than filling up a larger one. Using the overlay setting or something that burns the colours just hurts your eyes, I advice you to read a tutorial about the different layer settings. Try not to use too many effects, specially over the focal as it makes it a sloppy mess. Read up on colours as it'll hurt your progress a lot if you learn it the wrong way doing monotone things.
  20. Mind if I ask you to cut this football/baseball orgy? (Hard to get decent renders/stock unless they're set up duo to the "heat") Lowering the opacity of the second (I assume) focal just makes it look weird same goes with the motion blur. I suggest that you read up on some tutorials to get more ideas on how to blend renders right know I see the metriod-tutorial with some random C4D placement. Experimental? more like playing around until you found something cool?

Anime is tad too bright. Charizard has too many C4Ds that just look slapped on (Specially on the left). Liking the first and second though .
  22. Probably liquify (s?), it's in the filter menu.
