Blue dragons are quite effective to melee, I used to do it at 45 defence with salmons/trouts. They both drop clues, herbs, dragon hide and dragon bones.

What do you have some built up anger toward pures and merchs? I want to merch alot of the time and I use my stats... merchanting was faster moeny though. For F2P you could merch; God sets/pieces, ores, bars, rune sets/pieces, etc. Probably check an up to date price guide before you buy some items. I keep saying that because RS was made for you to use your skills, not stand around spamming the same message 1000s of times. For some reason everyone is under the impression that merching is fast and easy money. It is not. There are many better ways to make money that involve using your skills. If you want some merching advice, then go and try buying cheap flax or coal, just like all the other 'merchants.' -.- -.- Evil is right, this game was made to use skills the game offered.

Void knight armor is ideal versus low defence monsters such as fire giants. The total cost of the set is 850 points. It hit 10% higher then you normally would without it but it have less ranged bonus then normal ranged armor this meaning lower accuracy.

WOuldn't that just negate your mage bonuses and reduce them? Although it would give you more def stats, your mage attacking stats would be reduced defence > offence. :D

Just a little tip. Do not make up an outfit before you have it as you most likely not will achieve it. Otherwise void knight armor goes good with it. My friend have it and hunter cape, looks neat.
