Depends where. With high defence It's excelent to go with obby shield/ defender (depends on what type of monster. Lower defence like 60, the d sq is awesome but the obby shield also work.

I do believe they stack (berserker necklace + black mask) compared to salve/black mask who does not stack.

In your case on those: Rune defender > obby shield > prayer book. On higher level monsters Obby shield > rune defender > prayer book.

If you want to be classed as a pure get 40-45 defence imo. I was a pure once then became a rune pure and then a tank. I put them in the order i favored it. tank > rune pure > pure Also a rune pure can take on both pures and tanks with quite some ease. with 40-45 defence you can do almost everything the game offers, barrows without p pots, mini games, slayer.

And get pked waaaay more often.... And deal with unbearably long bank trips. In fact, Ive never been pked while killing green dragons, I just bring a quick tele. And the bank trip is actually shorter than Blue dragons I have. You could always bring burst runes to scare the bejeesus out of anyone who tries to pk you, and I don't suggest wearing torags. I wore Proselye.. Not to brag but i killed those perfectly with salmons at 45 defence. He should do just fine.
