  1. http://www.runescape.com/kbase/viewarti ... cle_id=728 Makes perfect sense. No one but you can see black marks, and the only time it matters is when your close to being banned, in which you will be able to do it, like the system says. Appeals are checked usually by bots, not jmods. It doesn't make much sense to me that I need to be closed to banned before I am given a chance to redeem myself. And jagex moderators can also see how many black marks I have, just so you know . Anywho, The system would suggest that innocent players have to endure the knowledge that they have been muted(or reprimanded) unfairly and that there is nothing they can do about it,seems unfair to me. Then either Jagex has some sort of Turing-beating superbots hidden in their towers, or they have a mod check over reports and simply automate the responses. In my experience they have always been accurate and true; I get stuck with things I really did, no matter how eloquent the appeal (yeah, I've tried), but they also clear up incorrect reports quickly. Really? It's always the opposite for me, I have been able to appeal 1 offence and it was denied, turned out "death to juice" is offensive language.

[hide=] First of all, slayer is the only skill in which training it sacrifices large amounts of XP in another skill, in this case combat; secondly, I created this post to combat the continuous stream of 'train slayer' posts whenever someone asked what the best method to train combat is. That is wrong; if you enjoy slayer, by all means train it, but you will be wasting 100s of millions in lost time by doing so, making slayer one of the most 'expensive' 99s, and a very bad way to train combat. And it seems to have worked; I haven't seen nearly as many 'train slayer' posts, with over 4,000 views on this thread. combat xp is a byproduct of slayer xp, you don't want to train slayer?Leave it at 1, you lose tons of total levels this way and is a blemish on your perfect high-scores if you have maxed melee. Combat XP isn't a byproduct of slayer XP, it's the other way round. As I said about total levels, it's much more efficient to train slayer around level 80 if you want to argue about total levels. I don't consider 83 slayer a 'blemish' to my almost maxed melee stats. No, you can train slayer without gaining combat xp, not the other way around. So, combat xp is a byproduct of training slayer. Technically, byproduct refers to a (generally unwanted or not intended to produce) product, but the main goal is combat XP for the argument in my thread; as stated before, the worth and value of slayer XP cannot be determined, as it is essentially worthless beyond the level required for efficient total levels, meaning the only measurements (fun) are quantitative; this argument is therefore about combat XP. [/hide] By your logic there are tons of skills that are worthless, all of them whose results can be duplicated.

  5. Kent is back \ I don't recommend using whip on control, I recommend training on yaks starting with attack then strength then defense. d scimi if whip is too expensive.

128,975,830. Slayer is an alternative to normal training, it gives us opportunities to kill certain monsters far more efficiently for around an hour, which is useful! For monsters such as waterfiends I average around 80 crimsons an hour, which is an extra 26k summoning xp. Waterfiends,my favorite task, seem to be a little better than zombie monkeys if you get them, I only fetched around 80k xp an hour there. There are the rest of the tad slower than the rest of the monsters you have pointed out, however due to the added bonus of variety I love slayer. It keeps you entertained through its variety and maintains hope with the prospect of getting a good drop, like a visage, now I know the experience isn't as good per hour, and neither is the money, but I choose to slay. I'll take hope and entertainment over monotony any day.
  9. Hence the term Catch-22, it's a ridiculous idea that gives more freedom to those with higher amounts of blackmarks, personally I would like to appeal as you go.
  10. Wait... so they won't let you appeal it until your unmuted again? If so, that's annoying, but what's the offense? The few times I've been unfairly muted I was able to quickly appeal and lift the mute... They will never let me appeal it unless I do more offenses, and the offense was rule 1. What do you mean? There's no 'appeal offense' link or what? In the place where it would be there is "Deferred".

  12. Hey, today I noticed an office being added to my account, I can see why it could be mistaken for an offense but it was just a slight misunderstanding. I try to appeal it and learn that it has been deferred, I looked at what this "deferred" meant and why it existed, I was astonished. It is a simple Catch-22, I cannot appeal my short-term mute unless I break more rules, hardly seemed fair to me. I cannot improve my account status unless I worsen my current condition, then I will be given the right to defend myself. I realize there are no long term implications, however, I still feel it is a tad ridiculous that I am not given a chance to defend myself and have my record purged, and to me having a blemished record is a long term implication. If anyone else feels the same way please discuss, and to the grou of people who I know will want to say I'm just whining... Please don't.
  13. Your greatest joy is watching someone else achieve something?
  14. Personally I think 60- is better.
  15. Sorry if I missed it but... Where is the section on god swords? I didn't see it in the first post.
  16. Rc is the most expensive buyable skill,I define buyable skills as skills that have expensive alternatives to regular training, rc has this in the form of talismans.
  17. P2p Its far more dangerous, which is more fun.
  18. You're name suggests you are pretty biased.
