I had this exact same problem, like um 6 years ago. At that time I just ran to another spot, swtiched worlds, and walked out. But next time, bring a teleport. Duh.

I have never played WOW--even try it but it doesn't take a genious to figure out that WOW is generally considered to be a better game. That is why it is mainstream and RS is not. I am not talking about just graphics either. Whether it be the way they treat their customers, their general attitude, the effort that is put in the updates--it is better than RS. The sad thing is, RS has so much potention but it is wasted. For instance, we haven't had one major update this whole year. Only thing MMG has done is talk the talk, he has yet to walk it. The current state of updates is "We want to surprise the fans, we like to keep them on their toes, which basically means we won't tell you anything about anything--which means no BTS and we will just throw some random updates along the way". There is very little to look forward. Seriously, I don't get upset over why WOW is mainstream, and you shouldn't either, the reasons are clear. I don't expect RS to be mainstream anytime soon, not until there is a REAL change in the attitude of the administration and they get serious about RS. WoW is only "mainstream" for 3 reasons. 1) It's American. Runescape is British. It's much bigger in America than anywhere else. 2) They advertise. Runescape doesn't. They don't need to. Plus, I like playing Runescape because my life won't revolve around it, like it does for most WoW players. 3) Southpark. They did an episode. They did WoW only because the graphics translated better onto TV than what RS was at the time. Other than that, they aren't mainstream. They're just loud. Runescape is low key.

I guess what bothers me most about the bugs is that the argument goes that when hundred of thousands of players play, then this will be more testing than any QA team can accomplish. Okay, I get that. My issue is that *every* single person I talked to had these issues, so how could this have gotten by them? Seems like any person could've figured out this was screwed up.

You have obviously never heard the scouse accent, try saying chicken while bringing up as much flem as possable then you will have the scouse accent, there is nothing cheery about it. Yes I am scouse. We have pale people cos our weather is crap 360 days of rain 4 and quater of sun ... if were lucky, not all of us are pale, for instance have you ever seen a girl whos face has so much make up on there orange but there neck is white? Saying "attraction rating is lower than say American, Canada, France." shows you don't know a thing about genetics, which is further proven by the fact that a computer can't change the way your face looks. Seriously trying to rip into the British is usless, we do a better job of it than you can. We make the Americans look even worse ... which isn't hard, just look who most Americans thought was the best man to rule the most powerful nation on this planet, before obama. I'm actually Scottish. Born there, lived there until I was 6, then got moved to Florida. I know a little bit about the UK. Some seriously unattractive people, though not nearly as fat as Americans. And we'll see just how much worse Obama can screw up than Bush did. Nationalized healthcare here we come. :x

To all of that, no. But let's face it, England turns out a very large number of pale people. And the average attraction rating is lower than say American, Canada, France. Face it, if it weren't for your cheerful accent, you'd be useless. And no, it's the other way around. They don't hide behind computers cause of their misshapen faces. Being behind a computer for years makes your face get all mushed up, much in the same way that the sun burns your face, the computer turns you ugly.

Yeah, I had my Workshop next to my 2 formal gardens. Just deleted it and put up this room. I'll get 2 more levels and add my it back. Not that expensive.

And the British can turn out some really ugly people. Both Andrew and MMG are pale with misshapen faces. That's why they work behind computers all day.

Not really. Pets go there. Save bank space. Everyone likes freed up bankspace. Levels aren't high, but so what? Familiars are just a win for everyone. Now people might use them for combat. MA. Well, they spent months on it. I imagine they'll do everything they can to get people to keep going back so that their work wasn't all for naught.

Um, something else to distract them? They seem like they have their hands full as it is. Last thing they need is something else stopping them from doing their job. I wouldn't mind a single blog detailing the specifics of their job however.

Oh yeah, I saw that and posted on there telling them that buggy update are becoming all too commonplace and that it saddens me that it is happening. I'll keep it clean Laura. I may say some harsh things, but I'll make sure to do it in a clean fashion. And I'm sure they'll call me a "troll," "complainer," and "whiner" because it's much easier than debating my point.

Well you're not funny. I'm very funny, just not along your sense of humor. That, and I'm making fun of a sacred cow around here, that being Runescape. Most the people on here can't be objective enough about the game to honestly decide if what I said was funny or not.
