Funorb has its own devoted area on the runescape website. It is actually listed as a "website feature" of runescape.co (on the left had side of the website, under the kb and online shop and such). they are currently advertising armies of Gielinor. We also have the "funorb digest" as our featured recent news post. our recent RUNESCAPE news. Which is not only sad but against Jagexs initial word. They claimed a while back that they would only advertise on runescape one time to get the ball rolling. They have not stopped advertising since. Yeah i remembered that. Runescape mainsite is a free way to advertise Funorb for Jagex. So instead of doing right choice: 1) Pay and advertise other ways They go and do: 2) Use Runescape (That's cool for few months, but it's been many now and a Funorb update gets it's big news post on mainsite) It's really just a side project anyway. They don't want to admit that it's simply not that popular.

Something to be determined would be a new skill. Preferably Archaeology. No sailing. :evil:

They have to put Funorb on the RS site or else no one would know about it and it was be totally overlooked. Like it should be, but that's just my opinion. :geek:

At one time both did tend to keep strict control over their respective areas of control. Jagex loosened up though. I'm not a big Jagex fan... but... seriously? Even if Jagex did that it is pretty stupid to compare them with the KGB O_o It was a long time ago, but they rules with an iron fist. Any criticism of them or complaining on the game and many people received mutes and bans. It was not a great time back then. Was around 2005. And I'm not a fan of them either these days. They're not like the KGB though. :|

If those people weren't working on Mechscape would they be working on Runescape? If you, like me, think yes, then it is having an effect on Runescape because we don't have as many people developing the game.

That's the stuff they should be doing. if this is why they're updates have been lacking, I'm totally cool with it.

I really want to see the winning videos. I tried watching some.. but almost all were so bad I had to stop. I know what you mean. Like so bad when you're too embarrassed to yourself to watch them even if you're alone. They just make you squirm.

And none of it even affects me in the least. Since I'm entirely self sufficient, fluctuations in prices don't bother me. In fact, since I frequently have spare, people willing to pay for the raws only nets me more money. Hey, I may not have any 99's, but I did all my skills by myself without anyone else. : In WoW, I have to interact with other people constantly. Work with them, depend on them, etc. I'm way too much of an individualist to like WoW.

I personally don't see anything other than the Mahjarrat, Myreque, or Elven storylines of being able to achieve a quest that would require them to be Grandmaster level.

Trust me, I understand the nature with bugs. I do think that the amount of update wrecking bugs is getting too commonplace when compared to RS past. This is very likely to the amount of code that is in one massive jumble that needs to be straightened out. As I've said in more than a few posts around these forums, I think Runescape is going to need to be taken offline for a few months, or be reverted to f2p only to completely rework the codes and fix them. The game needs fixing, not upgrades.

My personal prefernce has always been Runescape for a number of reasons. 1) I started playing it before WoW even existed. 2) It's cheaper 3) I can play it anywhere 4) It's a better, more rounded game. 5) Runescape doesn't pay sad actors to promote it in commercials. Lots more I'm not going to type as well.

Bauke, how many time do I have to tell you? I hate WoW. It's dull. Runescape is better, despite issues I take with the management. And no, I don't want to run Jagex. Just because I can't do something better than someone doesn't mean I can't find fault in their actions and/or have a difference in opinion on how they run the company. *Again* I don't mind a week without an update, if only they were followed by something good. So far this year, after no update weeks, we're still getting crap. That's the issue I take. I don't want weekly updates. I want good updates. I'm tired of the filler crap along with no update weeks. The no update is only half the problem. If you're gonna give us crap, give it every week. Then agauin, they're Jagex. They're perfect. I know how badly you guys would love to marry Jagex and have their children. Only problem is that no state will allow you to marry Jagex. Maybe California... :roll:

At present, you can't even kill a Mahjarrat properly. And the only one I remember having a real level was Hazeel. Oh and Lucien in Temple of Ikov around the teens. And who says the Gods would even take a physical form. Guthix looks very human on the history quest, whichever the second one is, he is supposed to be a god then isn't he as he brought them there i think? They can take a corporeal form, but only at their choosing. Otherwise, they're more like floating forms of energy/conciousness.

but see, theyre not. and no one else will believe it (especially if their stats suck and are a low combat level). so why pay to pretend? Because many people pay to have a pretend life because it's better than their own. We call these people World of Warcraft players. :

No, I complained about their being a no update week like 3 weeks ago. And like that week, next week's update will probably suck. That's what I'm talking about now. The original topic was just about another no update week after such gruelling updates that had before it. :roll:
