  1. At present, you can't even kill a Mahjarrat properly. And the only one I remember having a real level was Hazeel. Oh and Lucien in Temple of Ikov around the teens. And who says the Gods would even take a physical form.
  2. So they can show off a nd make it look like they're a rich and/or important player. That's about it.
  3. When all is said an done, what's the real difference between infinite and zero? :geek:
  4. I'm not whining. I don't even have members. Why do people keep saying I want them to rush updates. I don't want Jagex to rush updates! I want them to simply develop good updates. The new content we've gotten this year has either been crap or little minor quests that take 20 minutes to do. I'm over that. I'm not looking for a reason to complain. I'm given it on a silver platter almost every week. My point was this will, likely, be another week without any form of update while next week's will more than likely be the same of crap. That is my opinion based on their actions for the year, not whining, complaining, trolling. By the by, can we alljust stop with these damn interet words? I'm so tired of "trolling, fail" and all the other BS that permeates the teenage minds on here. Use some proper English so you don't sount like a bunch of internet marks.
  5. I honestly wonder how far Mechscape is away. It would've been great to have that ready to release or beta or whatever. Then while they did that and worked with the community, just straight up take RS down or revert it to f2p only for like 6 months, and entirely rework/fix the code. That's what it needs. Fixing, not upgrayedd's.
  6. I don't mind the combat. I rather like it simple. They can add some monsters to liven it up, but I'm not interested. And skills run at a constant loss due to people willing to pay to train their skills easier. And since they do it so adamantly, they drive up the prices. Supply and Demand. It does stink sometimes though.
  7. How the JAGeX team stole Christmas. Soon airing in an IMAX theater near you! Maybe... Possibly... Around the time when the Eastern Lands are released. :P Anyone, I never meant to rant. It's just a little tiresome. And D U X, we moved on to talking about the Phoenix. The rants had stopped. But I still say they didn't start programming the quest immediately after the poll. They even apologized for how long it took, which says to me they let it lay about for a while. That's not whining, complaining, or ranting. Just sayin'.
  8. Due to the Edicts of Guthix the gods cannot directly interfere therefore their levels are of no coincidence at they don't have an "attack" feature. Sheep being protected by Guthix could be level 1200's. :P
  9. You're really bad at counting or you just forgot some quests;Dorics quest, Giant dwarf, Between a rock, Dwarf Canon, A forgetable tale... and Perils of the White mountain, that's 6 quests with the seven'th coming up. Um, no... Those were unrelated quests involving dwarves, not quests in the Dwarf quest chain. The dwarf quest chain is meant to revolve around the dwarves in Keldragrim. So far that is The Giant Dwarf and The Forgettable Tale" quests. Doric is a very old f2p quest with a dwarf. Dwarf cannon is a quest nearly as old involving some random dwarves that introduced a cannon on RSC. Between a Rock was close to Keldragrim, but came out before the quest. it is entirely unrelated at this point. It's not about how you count, but that you count correctly related quests in a quest chain. :ugeek:
  10. Would that experience be planting a dagger in it's head? Honestly, I wouldn't mind if a week with not a single update if it was followed by something special, but it's not. This year we've had quite a few and the only one that would come close is MA, not because it's good, but because the difficulty of that project. I remember, and this was a long time ago, trust me, but Jagex had some issues with a quest. So they had to hold it off to the next week. The next week they released both quests they had lined up. The release of "The Lost Tribe" which introduced Dorguush-Kaan and "The Giant Dwarf" which introduced Keldragrim. That would *never* happen today. They'd hold it off and give it to us later.
  11. by the time they realized it sucked they had hit the point of no return. And unlike when other people were in charge and something like Wilderness Tag was scrapped due to how bad it was, in MMG's Runescape, they let the beast out anyway. Probably had something to do with the hype as well.
  12. Actually the poll was in April of '08 and it was released in the very biginning of '09. 7-8 months. That's hardly proof that it took that long though. They could've dragged their heels on starting it. I don't think it took them as long as that to do it. Plus, they had to code a familiar, and a D&D along with it.
  13. Oh believe me, I know. All my skills are level 70 plus and they are very boring to train with nothing really to look forward too.
  14. Given that we fully known updates take months to complete it's a safe bet that every update we had until end of June was started pre-MMG It took them 6 months to do the Phoenix? Okay, can someone go over to Jagex towers and please confiscate all their pot? This is getting rediculous. That that of the current updates about 75% are probs still pre-MMG projects I don't think so. Many of the quests are short enough that they've been started since he's been in. As well as upgrades that don't take as long to concoct, and whatever mindless bilge we get shoved down our throats. I think this is why people are really starting to aggravated. It was the leftover mark of Iddison that kept people happy during so many of the Upgrayedds. Now that it's come down directly on MMG, you can see how poorly it's going and now people are starting to turn. Even short quests take months to do. It took them what 6 months to make the phoenix and that was beyond short. It took them 6 months to do that quest? Okay, can someone please head over to Jagex towers and confiscate all their weed? This is starting to get rediculous. And where did it say in took them 6 months to do it?
  15. Atleast they gave us siege mode so we could go to Fast MA CC, get our 300 ranks and then forget the game existed. Suppose you're right. I still don't like the game. When it came out I said the game sucked mored than Michael Jackson at a cub scout sleepover. Now I can say the game is deader than that pale white woman buried in the ground. 8-)
  16. The minigame itself is just poorly done. Forget the people begging for it, the rushing, the bugs, the waits for the game. The game itself is lackluster. They really have no business going into that type of game as it's done better and quicker by others. I get the feeling it was someone's pet project that got out and with everyone begging for it, they hyped it too much, and it fell totally flat. The game blows.

  18. Well yes, I like Runescape because I can be a good player *and* have a life. With WoW, that's just plain impossible.
  19. Believe it or not, but I actually like MA. Traitor! But it's not my thing, but it's a great example of time wasted. Think of what we could've had in the time they spent on that trainwreck.
  20. Okay, but which is worse? Gnomecopters or MA and it's 1, soon to be 2 or 3 more polishes it needs to keep getting people to play it for one more week? #-o And perhaps he did initiate it, but I'd like to think that we'd still be getting decent stuff under Iddison, along with the upgrayedds. Iddison cared about profit, and he went about getting that profit by giving members good content. With MMG, we're getting screwed. Need I remind people of this year's Easter update? I think f2p's rectum has just now finally healed from that violation.
  21. Now, now. There's no need for that kind of language. I speak of the options on f2p to pickpocket, members items you could make on the smithing screen, talking to members NPC's on a f2p world, that sort of thing.
  22. Yeah, I own a zerk ring too, but I won't MA just another +4 str bonus. Give it time and I'm sure I can get something with a +6 or 8 before long without spending hours playing a crappy minigame. And yes, that is their motto. I also want to know who stole the sign at the entrance to hell that "Abandon all hope ye who enter here" and stuck it over the main entrance door at Jagex.
  23. I love Fire Giant and Greaters. Satright up slaying. No special equipment and I own them. Plus decent profit.
  24. I'd like to scream MMG here, but that may not be as accurate as i'd hoped. :-# By now, yes MMG is equally complicit in the mire that the game is in. We're already getting content that was started, worked on, completed, and released since he's been CEO. I'll take Mark Iddison and his membership baiting on f2p over Gerhard and his Upgrayedd year anyday.
