Jagex Motto: "If it ain't broke, you're not trying hard enough."

It's the "Upgrayeddd" year. Had to correct you. Excuse me. I forgot about that term, It fits well ;) Nothing new to do this year, i'm hoping next year they will have some new boss monsters to fight  I'll be glad when them changing a whip animation is properly classifed as a glorified Patch Note and not a "upgrade."

Abnormally large head though.

When I read your rant, only one thing came to mind. "It's got electrolytes."

Oh looky, another week with no update, but next week they got something for us. I for one cannot wait to see what piece of awful bug riddled, crapdate we're gonna get next week. Maybe if we're lucky it'll be another quest that we finish in 20 minutes?

No, I think he's a European club bouncer turned crappy actor. You gotta be kidding me? hes an awesome actor, for no other reason then his voice. Go check out a video interview of him on YouTube, his regular voice is so much different then his movie voice, its almost surreal. Oh yeah and something about rl celebrities playing rs... Bad actor, stupid voice, and creotine muscles. That's why he doesn't make movies anymore, cause they suck. Terrible.

Also, doint it all by yourself means it's pure profit.

I guess they can, because they technically CAN. Your issues is whether they should. And since they don't seemto have a problem getting the kills and you have the problem, it's up to you to solve it, which means leaving. Competition is such an inconvenience huh?

I don't know why, but I got the image of like Sasha Grey playing RS inbetween filiming scenes of "Gangbang Girls 9."

I still love the "Makes his money selling rocks" for the Gem Trader in Al Kharid.

From all that has been said, I believe they're going to do the Elf content, starting in early 2010. Bascially, they want to finish the Upgrayedd year so they devote a lot of time and effort to it to make it special. Think of it as a math problem. Same ammount of time to make Mobilising Armies - How much Mobilising Armies suck + Good overall plot development = Awesome.

I find it incredibly difficult to believe your equipment came 100% through drops and smithing it. I wear Torags, which I got from Barrows, an Abyssal whip, which I got from demons, with wild pies, but if I'm honest, it was total luck. Also use a Slayer helm, which I got from drops, plus buying the other things from Slayer masters, Drag boots from Mages, Gloves from RFD chest, bought an Onyx and used some assisted crafting to make it, and enchanted it, plus a Berserker ring from Dag Kings. Before that, I got all my drag stuff from drops or shops. And same for Rune, but that was on Classic and buying from Adventurers Guild. I make my own food, cut my own logs, mine and smith my own bars, mine and craft my own runes, all that. Maybe this would explain why I've been playing since late 2001 and only CB lvl 123, and no noncombat skill over 89? I also receive the occasional assist from other players.

I for one met a girl on Runescape, knew her for a long time, eventually met her in person when she moved in with her sister, on the other side of Tampa Bay, and we ended up dating for over a year. I never once though considered her my girlfriend on Runescape. Before, during, or after we actually dated.

21st July 2009 - The Curse of Arrav (and Patch Notes)

probably not. . . the soul altar's most likely in the elemental workshop (mind, body, and ____) Then why aren't the mind and body altars there? [/hide] Mind and body alters were released before the elemental workshop + they're f2p, and I've honestly never mad than mind, body soul connection now I'm sure that's where it'll be. Back on-topic, we probably will see the last ritual as Arrav becomes more inclined to help us (the player) and we'll probably have a role in taking down on of the big bad Zammy Mahjjaret before learning Zaros isn't/wasn't such a good guy either. Chance the Soul Altar is buried underneath the ritual site, hence why it is the ritual site in the first place. And perhaps the Mahjarrat never knew or didn't care. -
I'm entirely self-sufficient. I have never once bought anything off the GE or from another person. Only ever sold.

Lauf is eye. The Stone of Jas is also known as the Fist of Guthix and the Eye of Saradomin. Laufata could mean the Stone of Jas. Yeah, that bit of speculation was worth bringing up a topic from 4 months ago.

I think RS would greatly benefit from the added ability of things to stun. Would help the rangers and magers mostly, but does Melee honestly need anything more? -edit_ Because it would only cost 45k worth of runes to cast enough spells to reduce their attack to 0.
-
Yeah, how? Don't spout rubbish without giving evidence. Honestly speaking, I don't see HOW the [bleep] lowering max hits would screw things up. As long as the "damage resistance" is reasonable. How the hell are you supposed to efficiently train with higher leveled enemies resisting your damage? Don't say "uhhh, damage resistance should only be pvp", that's poor game design (inconsistency). While on the other hand - having exp remain the same (e.g. you normally hit a 10, it resists down to 5, but you still receive 40 exp), it would make training combat too easy (each enemy yields more exp). It pointlessly throws things out of balance either way. Pfft, Imagine how long F2P combat would take with damage resistance. Anyway, we already have the divine and elysian shields (ignoring the cost), and that's how Jagex intends to treat this concept, purely as a fancy perk for the wealthy. Why shouldn't we alter the combat system? Because much of the game thus far as been constructed around it, it would more negative impact than positive. There's nothing wrong with the combat system now anyway, RS is unique. All your points are true. I think the combat system could be altered still - maybe in a new version of RS? RS4? Mechscape? I don't know. Were did rs3 go. Your point about combat being to easy is outwieghed by the monster having more hp so you would need more food or higher healing food so it would cost more and even then you probably won't be able to stay there as long as you previously could. Instead of ignoring the cost of those shields lets look at it, 390 and 343 million, this is not a practical means to increase your chances of survival in certain places, for example your not going to take something that cost that much in to a pvp world. As of this writing, I believe we are on RS14.2. :ugeek:

Un-honourable like what? Like asking for a snipe? Like luring a friend into one? In my eyes my snipe was damn legit because I didn't do any of those. Heck, I don't even need to justify my reasons. And how was I supposed to know that? It's not even written anywhere on the first page and people shouldn't even be reading through a 180+ post long thread just to find all the damn rules. All I know is that asking for snipes and such is frowned upon. End of rant. Okay, you're at a 10. I need at about a 7. Mmmmkay? Thanks a bunch. :geek: -

It could be like in Star Trek, where Q mates by briefly touching fingers with another Q. Hot. No need to assume it requires nudity or penetration of any kind. And if it doesn't, how lame? -.- -
Whether or not something something is used in PVP matters very little. And second, Ancients have some okay abilities, but Blood doesn't heal all that much, and Ice are decent, but not foolproof. Plus the sheer cost of the spells being used.

Because Runescape dating is free. Sad, but free.
